Culver sign said the dining room was open until 7pm. I parked and went to the front door that was locked at 5:45 pm TODAY. Last time I checked I checked 7pm is 75 minutes LATER. I called the restaurant to find out why they were closed. The employee HUNG UP after saying hello. Now I'm mad so I called a 2nd time and demanded an answer. According to the person who didn't hang up, they can't change the main sign because its controlled by Corp. Oddly, the Culvers in AZ don't have this problem so what is the problem with this location. The food wasn't bad but the service was horrible. We ordered our meals first and it took about 45 minutes. We then ordered three frozen custards and waited 60 minutes. I'll also add we were one of three families in the restaurant when I experienced this. read more

First and last time here. I got there 10 minutes before closing and the drive-thru was blocked by cones. I figured I'd go in and order, but they said the dining room is closed. Outdoor dining, takeout and curbside service are listed under services, so I don't know why trying to get food was such an issue. read more

Literally the worst establishment. They're never open, the workers have terrible attitudes when they are open. We had heard Culver's was a great chain restaurant so decided to try it tonight. Terrible choice! There was only one car ahead of us. We ordered and were told to pull around as they had to make our food. The staff was laughing and cutting up a we pulled away from the window. We waited about 10 minutes for the guy to bring a bag to us. We ordered entrees with fries. I checked as we were pulling away and saw Sandwiches only in the bag. Called them. They said come to the door (dining room isn't open). Gave us fries. Sandwiches were ICE cold as were the fries. Don't mind waiting for hot food, not ice cold. Others were returning as well. Great location. I am fortunate enough to live smack dap in the middle of this location and Navarre and I understand it is a family rival, wife vs husband. I'm not sure if it's the newer machines, but the custard is actually frozen at this location! Navarre I always seem to have soup by the time I get it home. BUT the lack of experience with the employees is the reason I only gave it 3 stars. The custard is better at this location, but it takes 15 min to make 3 kids meals...not just once but I have given them 3 chances. I'll come here for custard, but I'll stick with the Navarre's location for food. read more

Our food was fine but the restaurant itself and workers were displeasing. The inside had a funky smell, like it needed a good deep clean. The workers clothing/uniforms were dirty. We probably will not go back, likely one of the worst Culver's we have been to. read more

First of all, when you are taking a customers order you shouldnt be rushing them by saying "will that be all" after every single item. It'd be better to encourage customers to order by saying "what else can I get for you". Then when we ordered a double butter burger with cheese and we wanted all the lettuce, tomatoes, etc. instead of them explaining to us that we could get the deluxe butter burger which has all of that on there the girl gave us an attitude and said all the fixings dont come on the burger and itll cost extra. Fine we did it their way. So after we placed our orders for the two basket meals and ordered sodas with those meals we also asked for 2 shakes. Then we informed them we had a coupon for a BOGO 2 scoop sundae. This confused the cashier, she told us to pull around and didnt give us a total. We had to wait for the 3 cars ahead of us to get our food before they even returned to us to take our money and our sundae order. Then they were confused thinking we wanted to use the coupon for the shakes so i explained we want the meals with the sodas, we want 2 shakes and 2 sundaes. After all was said and done we finally got our food after a stressful ordeal and they never gave us our sodas. I have 15 years restaurant experience and 6 of that was as a training manager and GM. I understand accidents happen but things were going wrong from the very beginning while at the speaker trying to place our order. Better training is needed. Oh and also, you need proper lids for the to go sundaes. Toppings were piled on top of the sundaes and falling off in the car. read more

The line is wrapped around the building, not for people waiting to order, but for everyone who has already ordered. I've worked in the service industry for quite some time now so when I see a order screen full of red tickets, I know those times are well over 7 minutes each. Took 10 minutes just to get a concrete mixer, and after sitting at the window watching the girls dance around and laugh, one of the girls looked at us and said "have they gotten their mixer yet?" And then they both disappear. Come back a few minutes later with a thankfully not melted mixer. I don't know where a manager is at or what they're doing to clear their parking lot of people who have already paid for their food and waiting but something has to change if they expect to keep business. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would. This place is absolutely disgusting. It's not the children's fault that practically run the place, it's the management and leadership. The food was ok but borderline ok. I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon, grilled onions, and ketchup added. When I got the sandwich there was ONLY the three added items on there and the grilled onions were GREY. I had to take them off because they had a funny taste to them. My wife and I came in to get a quick meal and once we ordered we realized how backed up the orders were. There were at least 3 orders ahead of ours and the service was extremely slow. We had been waiting for our food for over 25 minutes. This is probably the worst experience i've had at a culvers. I've been to other locations and even in other states that were ten times better than this one. The inside, soda machine was dirty and only half worked for some of the drinks, the ketchup area was dirty and caked with old ketchup and the service was Far below average. I like Culvers food but i would not recommend someone to wait 30 minutes to eat at this one. read more

Twice in a row we've been given the wrong food, and this time they charged us for what we ordered (which was more expensive), but gave us tiny burgers that only a toddler could fill up on. I know Culver's is ALWAYS busy and when it's high traffic one can expect quality to dip; however, my fries were as salted as the oceans. Also, my two concretes included pecans (Turtle Cheesecake and Salted Chocolate Pecan) WERE ALL PECAN. I know their pecan budget has to be in red with how much pecans they add in. The only good thing I can say about this establishment is that the lady who took our order via the drive thru speaker was very welcoming, friendly, and professional. Kudos to her! On the other hand, the lady at the window was the complete opposite. She absolutely looked and sounded like she hated her job; no greeting, no smile, no enthusiasm, and not even a single "thank you" or "you're welcome." We inquired if a military discount was offered and she just said, "No we don't do that." The concrete mixer and shake cup she handed us were so messy and sticky with custard running down the sides. No napkins were given either, we had to ask her for some! Then, there wasn't any whipped cream on top of my concrete mixer, as requested on our order. No apology for the error either. I visited a Culver's up in Wisconsin a few years ago and I had a great experience so I was actually looking forward to visiting this establishment in Fort Walton Beach, hoping it would be the same. Sadly, it wasn't. My question is, if this location has been open for about 1.5 years now, why hasn't anyone given it a 4 or 5 star rating yet? I think the solution to achieve those ratings is quite simple. This is the worst Culver's I've ever known. They are always out of custard and their food isn't as good as it used to be. They close early every night and blame it on being short staffed. I never in my life have received the type of customer service I did tonight, I am extremely disappointed and upset at the service received. I came through the drive thru today as my first time ever visiting a Culver's. I ordered a banana split and after receiving it the banana was black. So I went back through the drive thru showed the banana split, and asked for a refund the young lady states all of their bananas are black. So, I asked to speak with a manager she informed me she is the manager, I asked for a refund she said we do not give refunds. She yelled out "come talk to her I'm done" then shuts the window. She proceeds to holler and talk loud to her peers being extremely rude to where it is very obvious. I will never visit another Culver's again and they really may want to look into hiring an adult to have on shift versus a bunch of unprofessional teenagers.
