    Double Butter Burger with Cheese
    Mark N.

I used to live on 96th & Giles and would frequent this Culver's but that was over 10 years ago. I rarely go to fast food restaurants but this is a level above fast food. As I was driving down Giles today and saw this place I got a yearning for the Double Butter Burger and so went to the drive thru. The menu has more than burgers but this was an easy choice. You pay at the window and if there are cars behind you, you get a number and move forward to one of three waiting spots and they deliver to your window. The Butter Burger is quite simple but is one of the better burgers in town. I need to branch out and try other items on their menu.

This review is for there concrete mixer. I love to not just have icecream and Oreos but icecream with my Oreos. And when I find employees that can really understand that you ha e hit a gold mine and that is what I have found here at this location. I always ask for extra Oreo and then after a second or to goes by I add on "don't be shy" and this seems to do the trick! I walk out of there with a concrete mixer that is full of Oreos just the way I like it!

    Grilled chicken sandwich bottom.

I've had all of the chicken options at Culvers and each time it is a huge disappointment. Why is there such minimal lettuce?? It's as if someone couldn't commit to putting lettuce on the sandwich and just drop a couple strands accidentally. It's chewy and a bit weird.. I also got one pickle. The overall quality of chicken crispy or grilled is a joke. If I judged this place on ice cream 5 out of 5 burgers is probably a 3 and fries are a 3. Just stay away from the chicken it's not worth the money

We live equal distance between two Culver's but the one on Giles is the best one in town so that is where we go.

The City Pub is a cute little eatery in the La Vista area! I love that the area is starting to get…read moresome more businesses because I want it to succeed and become a new business park with lots of places to eat and shop. First off, the ambiance in The City Pub is nice and friendly, with astroturf accent walls, concrete floors, and a big cityscape transport map mural. There's a bar with lots of TVs to catch a game, and comfy booths and tables all around if you're only there to eat. The service was great, and we were checked on multiple times to make sure our drinks were full and our food was great. The beer was cold and crisp (I had two different ones, and both were awesome). I went with friends, and we all enjoyed our meals. We started with the Brusssels Sprouts and while it wasn't the largest serving, they were excellent with a balsamic and candied pecans adding to the tangy sweetness. Entree-wise, I got the meatloaf, and it came with tasty gravy, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies. Not too heavy for being meatloaf, but big on flavor! My friends got the Caesar Salad and the Pub Burger. Both were large portions and they really enjoyed what they chose. The fun ambiance, amazing service, and crisp drinks, The City Pub is definitely a place to stop if you're in La Vista and hungry or thirsty!

This is definitely a great spot in the City Centre area, and is worth enjoying a night out here…read more With a spacious and cool lower level interior it's nice enough for a date night, and casual enough to have a girls night, or friends gathering here. The upstairs is a totally different vibe, more loungey with a midcentury flare, and patio facing the astro. The menu is classic american food but with flare. Their caesars comes on a stalk of romaine, the crab rangoon is vertical, and the pizza is fantastic. The drinks and food are GREAT, but I do really like the walkablilty to things around it as well as the game room making this a family friend and fun night venue in a usually quiet omaha suburb.

My wrap came with buffalo sauce which was not listed on that menu item- might be worth checking if that's not your thing! The sides are generous and the Hot Lips basket could definitely serve 2! I'm a big fan of their Moscow Mule- for $6.50 it really can't be beat! The service was great. Tanner's is always friendly and you will be well taken care of. We enjoy this bar and grill!

We waited 15-20 minutes and were completely ignored. No acknowledgment of our presence and definitely nobody came to our table. We have been there about a half dozen times in the last year. We had this same bad experience once before, but thought they had improved. Guess NOT. Lady behind the bar had her back to us most of the time. Tall guy was getting beer for a table or two. Lady came toward us, behind the bar, twice. Never acknowledged we were there. Can no longer recommend this place!!!!!!!!! Went down the road to 72 Table and Tap. A LOT busier!!! We sat and were waited on in less than a minute, and it was VERY busy. Food was good so Tanner's can wither and die as far as we are concerned. Don't waste your time going to Tanner's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a quick lunch, I got the 10 wings for about $15 dollars and some change. A little over priced in my opinion but the wings were amazing! (Sorry no picture) My mom got the burger and came with fries at a reasonable $12 dollars and some change. Sevice was great, food came out in a timely manner. Would recommend especially if you just want to hangout, enjoy a beer have some good food, watch some sports and listen to some music.

Review left December 2024. Well earned 5-star review. Jimbo's Diner…read more This restaurant is located in/next-to La Vista Keno. It does not smell of smoke. If you're into keno, you can play at your dining table. There are over twenty 4-tops, a dozen booths, and several party tables. Music is modern and sublime. You hear it, but it never overwhelms. You'll soon get numb to the intermittent "Keno calling". It does sound tempting to play when you hear that "the last game had a two thousand dollar winner". I have never played. Service is excellent at Jimbo's Diner. Kurt W. waited on me tonight and, like his colleagues have done previously, did a great job. I started with a BIG bowl of delicious beef barley soup. I recommend the soup, but perhaps the smaller cup-size next time. Daily specials include prime rib on Thursday nights. That is what brought me here originally. Sub-$30 prime rib! I'm now coming back to try other food. Today is a Monday and it is Mexican night at Jimbo's Diner. Taco baskets and enchilada dinners are on sale. None of the specials cost more than $10 tonight. Expansive menu. Something for everybody. Unless it's prime rib night, I'm guessing it's hard to exceed a $25 tab unless you're drinking alcohol. Food comes out pretty quick. I was about 1/3 full after my huge bowl of soup, so I finished with an inexpensive, tasty BLT sandwich with cottage cheese. I couldn't finish everything... An endless soda, soup, and a BLT sandwich came to $18.43 (December 2024). Next time I will skip the soup. Or have soup and salad. A bowl of soup and a sandwich with a side is too much food. I want to try the daily specials. The prime rib is excellent. Plenty of off street parking. A healthy meal for a decent price. I highly recommend Jimbo's Diner.
