I ordered 2 Hook and Ladder subs on Sunday and was very disappointed. I ordered my food online for the first time and the staff was very rude when I inquired about my order. I was not aware online orders are sat out. When I got home I noticed the subs were the same. I ordered the Hook & Ladder with white bread and wheat, but they both looked the same. I love firehouse subs and have had it numerous times which is why I chose to order it tonight. I ordered two sandwiches and two chips for delivery, however, the chips were not in the sealed bag and our sandwiches were cold. I called grub hub (who delivered the food) and was only issued a refund for the missing chips - not resending my chips. I was told we would have to re order and pay the delivery fee AGAIN for Firehouse Subs poor oversight. I know it was not initially grub hubs fault because the bag was already sealed, but the whole situation was very disappointing. read more

Food was good but the staff was ridiculous. Didn't acknowledge us for a few min and there were 6 people there. Then they were discussing personal conversations in front of us and goofing off as we waited for 20 min for our subs. Not as good as it has been in the past. I could've drove across the street and paid a dollar more for an entire meal compared to an 8 inch sloppy sub. Sometimes a sandwich is just a sandwich. Sometimes that sandwich is a FireHouse sub and you forget the rest. These are always good. The selection of additional sauces at the end of the counter is amazing. You can even get them to go with the little cups and lids right there. Tonight we had the Italian and the Capt. grilled chicken sandwiches. The capt had sriracha sauce while being under 500 calories it was delicious and very filling. The Italian was fresh, well made with lots of meat The salt balance of the meat was prefect with the condiments. My boyfriend always adds mayo and extra Italian dressing to the sandwich. The staff was very happy, polite and so helpful even though there were only two ladies working. When we showed up to place our to go order we were the 4th party in line. 10 minutes tops for the two ladies to turn out 8 sandwiches, take orders, fill soda lids, and get extra pickles in the bag for us. read more

Loooove Firehouse!!! I've been to this location several times and the people are usually pretty friendly! I love how the menu has the calorie amount, and atmosphere is very "firefightery". I will say, the prices are a little steep for a sub place. They're delicious and a medium is pretty big but I still wish it was a little cheaper. All in all, I will go again and love Firehouse. It's worth the extra money to me for sure!!! read more

Got the NY Steamer. Supposed to have corned beef and pastrami...but it smelled and tasted like baloney. Worst sub I have ever had. Not to mention it looked nothing like their picture. Restaurant was spotless, and even though there were only two people working, they took the time to greet everyone who walked in the door and to thank them as they left. Very good!! Lots of meat on my sub. Sevice was excellent! Fresh ingredients. There was 6 parties in line before me and only 2 employees making subs. I only had to wait 8 mins for my sub. I was a little wary that my sub was going to be slapped together with how fast I received it. To my surprise when I got home my sub was put together by a professional and tasted even better. The atmosphere was nice and they had a cool digital pop machine which the kid in me really enjoyed. I will be back to Firehouse subs!!! read more

I would have given this 5 stars, because I did have an excellent sandwich with great service. However, before I left, I needed to use the restroom. The restroom was locked due to a patron occupying it, but that patron was an employee who exited the restroom. I heard the toilet flush and she immediately came out. When I entered the restroom, I looked at the sink due to her fast exit after the flush, and to my surprise, the sink was dry. The employee did NOT wash her hands! When I exited the restroom to leave the restaurant, I saw her making sandwiches for customers in the restaurant. This is not ok on any level!!!! I will never return to this location due to this. Unfortunately, employees that choose to disobey rules of the employer and common decency can cause customers to choose another restaurant to dine at. Especially with the Hep A outbreak, I would think that this would be on the forefront of every food service employees' mind. read more

We've been to other Firehouse Subs before and have had no issues at all. We arrived here and signs up saying their normal supplier of bread was out so the alternative had a possibility of having nuts in it. Then their coke machine had no diet drinks at all. None. The Coke cooler only had blue Powerades in it. Then to top it off my wife found a hair in her sandwich. We stopped eating and left. We won't be back to this location. read more

At least 4 different times, I have ordered my sub fully involved (even stressed it to the girl taking the order as well as the person making the sandwich) got all the way home to find nothing but meat and cheese This may be preferred by most people but my favorite part of the sub are the veggies on it.
