We were in town for a youth sports event and were excited to give Culver's a try. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was fairly crowded so we opted for the drive through. My son had the chicken sandwich value basket. I had the sourdough melt. The food tasted pretty good. The French fries were delicious. My son substituted his drink for a strawberry smoothie. He reported that it tasted more like a strawberry sundae than a smoothie. But for this small issue, I would have given Culver's 5 stars. The drive through was pretty efficient. The mood seemed pretty lively and the service was pretty good. Am pretty exited because there is a rumor that Culver's will be coming to my home town in the near future. read more

Culver's has become the closest thing to Leon's in Milwaukee for me. Because ice cream is not the same as custard. The kids love coming here as it's a quick dinner with great meal options and they get a coupon to go up and get some free custard. Doing drive through or dinning in is always convenient. We have had no problems at all with our food and service is always quick. read more

Culver's is the classic, midwest fast food joint. You can count on Culver's to consistently provide freshly made burgers and delicious custard. My husband and I stopped at the Little Canada Culver's after a day of tubing down the river. We both ordered the bacon butter burger deluxe. I tried to place an order for a lemon ice (summer speciality) drink with custard swirled in. I've ordered this several times from other Culver's locations, but the cashier was giving me a hard time and said they couldn't make it. Finally, I asked, "Can I get a lemon ice and a scoop of vanilla custard?" And she put the order through... although I am wondering if it was more expensive to ring it in like that? We sat in the dining room and had to clean the crumbs off our own table. We receive our burgers, and I have to admit, we were hungry! About half way through eating them we both realize... our burgers don't have any bacon on them. At this point, with the staff not being super accommodating, we just decided to forgo trying to make the order right or get a partial refund. The funny thing is though, on our way out we heard ANOTHER table remark that their order was wrong. Love Culver's but probably will avoid this location in the future. read more

The Little Canada Culver's is one of the better Culver's locations that I have been to. Every time I have come here it has always been clean and the service is always friendly. Food does take a little while to make but I have never had issues with overall quality. read more

If I could I would give Culver's a zero. I just had the worst experience with a cod dinner ever. dry over cooked cod, that I couldn't cut with a knife much less a fork. they say lightly battered to a light golden color, mine was dark brown to black on the edges. the French fries were also dry and burnt so I couldn't eat over half the portion, the premade coleslaw was eatable and the prepackaged tartar sauce was okay. the bun was hard on the edges like it had sat out for days, no amount of butter could have made me eat it. read more

I'm super impressed with the customer service here. We're a bigger family (5 young kids) and we stopped by for a quick bite before we went home. There was a manager-- maybe the owner (not sure)-- who made sure we had everything we needed and chatted with our family. We were watching him greet everyone who came in, and he checked in with everyone else, helped buss tables etc. As we neared the end of our dinner, he proceeded to gift us/our kids with toys and custard as an Easter gift. It's not often that a young/large family like ours feels so welcome. Very grateful for this place, and if we're ever in the area again, we will definitely be back. read more

Stopped in last night, 6:30 on a Firday, just wanted a quick grilled chicken value basket from the drive through..... As I turn the corner to pull up to the window....I debate just leaving....as I see 3 or 4 cars pulled over waiting for their food.....I don't have time for THIS!!..... As I pay I ask the kid "do you know how long it's going to be?" They say "I have no idea" Feeling defeated I figure I will give it a go..... A couple of times we've used their drive through and was disappointed when we got home and found someone else's order! They apologized, but twice?? those are not good odds! They weren't all that busy & from what we could tell they had plenty of help behind the counter. The only "pro" is that their food is fresh & well cooked. Tonight (10/23), at about 7:00 p.m. I visited the Rice Street Culver's and had a horrible experience. It was not very busy, so, it baffles me that after 25 minutes at the drive thru I still had no food. I exited my car and walked to the cashier to find out where my hamburger and soup were. He told me that they hadn't even started my order, yet. I told him to forget it and walked away. I hope this was an off-night for the restaurant. Please, please teach the staff the huge difference between shakes and malts. Service above and beyond; malts are horrible. Never made a malt before? Don't worry. If I have a craving for fast food or burgers, I'm going to eat at this Culver's. It actually tastes good, and doesn't taste processed. Also, the place is sparkling clean and the staff they have are well trained and very friendly and professional. They come around and offer condiments if or ask if you need refills. I appreciate that they always have several copies of the newspaper, too. The food is always tasty and consistent, but tastes far more "home-cooked" than any fast food place I've been to. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because their drive-thru sucks. You have to park in a u-turn/horeshoe area, and wait for someone to bring out your meal, it isn't exactly streamlined. Overall, I'd hands down rather eat here than any McDonalds or Burger King. read more

I'm not gonna get too in depth about a fast food restaurant, but I have to say that these folks make a pretty mean burger. The meat is always juicy and a little greasy, and the toppings and buns are fresh. I would take these burgers over a lot of restaurants and bars. The fries really do it for me too- crinkle cut, creamy inside, and just the right size. I've tried other items on the menu with equally good results; the cod fillet sandwich was a big hunk of flaky and moist fish that would hold it's own in fancier places, and the beef pot roast sandwich absolutely melted in my mouth. They have a much wider variety of foods than your average FF joint, like a cod AND a walleye sandwich, a prime rib dip, grilled or crispy chicken sammies, pork tenderloin sammies, ruebens, chicken dinners, etc. As for deserts, they're known for their frozen custard, which for me is far superior to DQ's ice milk, but not as good as real ice cream. The staff is more friendly and professional than the average FF joint, and overall I really couldn't expect anything more from a place like this- I'm always surprised at how homemade their food tastes. As pricing goes, it's reasonable for the quality, but there's certainly no dollar menu here- I had the cod sandwich with fries and a drink, and a sundae for desert, and it was almost $12. They always seem to have coupons going, including buy-one-get-one deals. read more

It only took me 4 years to try something other than a burger here. The other day, I was in lazy mode and didn't want to cook, even though I had just bought some fresh chicken legs. I quickly decided that I would give the grilled chicken sandwich a try. Do I make it a value meal? I decided to honor my diet as much as I can and go into frugal mode. I chose the sandwich only and a cup for water. My sandwich was prepared quickly and brought out to me. It was a nice 1/2 thick piece of chicken breast. I had lettuce and tomato added and they garnished it with a sandwich pickle. Should have gotten mustard, but had it with mayo instead. I took a few pics of this what looked to be a delicious sandwich. After my photography moment, I needed to sample the goods. Very nice and tender. Chicken is chicken and not very flavorful on its own. Good thing I had lettuce, tomato and mayo added. If I am going to eat a grilled meat, may as well add a small salad to it... It was decent size for a $5.00 sandwich. For a healthier side, I wish they had black beans. But then they would have to charge more and put it out of the frugal zone,, Terrific sandwich, Terrific price. And the tap water was a good beverage choice. .. And those legs I bought earlier? I will grill those tomorrow for my weekend meals and snacking, Seasoned with a self-made Cajon Seasoning. Probably sauced up with a wing sauce after cooking. read more

I ordered a butter burger on Rye bread, I got the value basket (combo), with a vanilla shake. Sounded good, and even smelled delicious. I got home, only to bite in my burger and discover a raw burger. I was pissed. I called and spoke with a manager, I told her I was on my way back to get a refund, she agreed. I got there and the "Assistant General Manager" was a straight asshole! My order total was $9.98, and he tried to give me a $5 refund just for the sandwich! NO! I returned every item (the burger, fry, and shake). You can tell he had a attitude about MY money. Very unprofessional. This is the only fast food place I go to. Great burgers--even better than In n Out. Great fries. Great frozen custard! There are a lot of deals and coupons available making the decent prices even better. I love the flavor of the day thing, and tend to go through the monthly list and check off flavors of custard I want to try. Not only is the food tasty, but the people working here are the friendliest bunch I've met in any restaurant. I was having a bad day, and did't feel like cooking, so I walked to this culver's, and was greeted by her smiling face! I had only been to culver's a few times, but now I would go once or twice a week! Mckenna helped my choose what to get, and allowed me a sample of the flavor of the day! I don't visit Culver's often but have found staff at the Little Canada location to be consistently organized, accurate, fast and friendly. Since there's a big gap between visits and the experience is always positive, I'm assuming they have a hiring standard that limits staff to only top choice. I feel its more important to acknowledge good service than it is to complain about bad service. Rev was manning the register. He enthusiastically greeted every customer that came into the store and bid them a happy good bye when people left. He addressed everyone with energy and enthusiasm you rarely see in a fast food joint. Food was served up hot and fresh. Heck the lettuce on my burger was actually crisp. Fries were perfectly crispy. But again, its the customer service that will make me make the trip out of my way again to this Culvers. Well done Rev! read more
