I was surprised to learn an internet poll voted Culver's Butter-burger as the Nation's best fast food hamburger. I say surprised because frankly I'd never heard of them. Anyway, turns out they are pretty darn tasty. I especially appreciated their use of decadent amounts of Butter and Smoked Cheddar on their creations. My only criticism is they build their burgers upside down with the Bacon, Cheese, Lettuce & Tomato placed under the Meat. Must be a Yankee thing. read more

I've never had such disgusting food. The only thing good was my shake. Fries had no salt. I had to drown them in ketchup. I usually like Culver's, but maybe this is a new establishment. So I have to echo a previous reviewer about this establishment messing up orders. Went here and they messed up the burger. I don't live in the area but I visit the area on a weekly basis. I got back into Atlanta and saw that the burger was incorrect. I did call the restaurant to advise them of their mistake and was told that I would either have to return it today which just isn't feasible or they can send me a 10% coupon which doesn't even cover the item. Definitely disappointed with the experience as this was my first time here. Would I go back? Probably not. For the price that I paid, I'll just go to Five Guys when I'm craving a quick burger. This was my first visit!! Dang this was Good!! Straight to the point. It was October 3rd, around 6pm on a lovely warm evening, my friend and I were on a shopping trip in Mc Donough. We were trying to figure out where to go to grab a bite. Really couldn't think of what we wanted so we just decided on burgers. Started looking at reviews online. There was another choice for burgers but we chose Culver's. Im soooo glad we did. The restaurant, bathroom and outdoor seating was clean, the staff was respectful, knowledgeable and courteous (they adhere to Covid procedures). The burgers were juicy and grilled to perfection. I also liked that the lettuce was shredded and at the bottom of the burger. Not a crinkle fry person but these were awesome.. The Root Beer Was Amazing!!! Being an New Englander, it brought back memories. And the concrete mixer shake (not pictured) was creamy!! He and I both enjoyed the burgers we'll be making more stops here in the near future. If you can, visit during the week or earlier in the day on weekends because they can get busy. There that good!! read more

Love Culver's burgers!!! And this location didn't disappoint. However, went to use bathrooms and they're very messy, dirty and missing paper towels. Wasn't that busy inside so management should've ensured bathrooms were clean and stocked. This was my first time at a Culver's Restaurant and let me say this " it's kinda a big deal" .... We ordered burgers and my co worker ordered a spicy chicken sandwich which was suggested by the Owner, well that is what her tag said, she was out front, on the front line , taking orders and wowing the customer with her sparkling personality.... Will never go back to this location. The young lady at the counter never spoke - no hello, no "can I take your order," just a stare. While waiting for our to-go order a young man, who knew staff members, yelled at several members to go outside. My burger was a tad overdone and for my taste a mite on the thin side. If you do not know there burgers are cooked in butter.. not good for the old cholesterol but wonderful decadence. Our server was a young lady named Britt who was wonderful. We were newbies and while the place was not crowded, she was quite patient and pleasant with us during the ordering process. I'd never had Culver's before nor had I even heard of them. Riding around in an area I'm not familiar with leads you to gems like this. I'd just finished picking fruit at a nearby farm and something cold n refreshing was needed. I ordered their special of the day which was the blackberry cobbler. It looked delicious. This building looks new, clean and sparkly. They were only accepting drive through orders and the line was long. I ordered one scoop just so I wasn't being greedy...it was pretty as seen in the picture but when I say SKIMPY!!! I was highly dissatisfied and disappointed. It was as if they were running out of frozen yogurt. What was even sadder was knowing a few days prior a friend of mine had just came to this location and had a scoop and her cup was filled. She was utterly disappointed as well. It was a slap in the face. We ate it knowing it tasted great but complained the whole time that we didn't get enough. It was as if we were punished for not getting two scoops because our other friend did and she was more than pleased. I'm sad all over again just writing this lol. So YES! It tastes great! It saddened me to have write this review. The McDonough, Ga location representation of the Culver's brand is horrible. I am from Illinois/Wisconsin area where the franchise started. I was extremely excited to see the restaurant open. The first couple of visits the food fell short, but we still continue to give the place a chance. Tonight was the last straw. I stopped by the drive through to grab a late dinner. It went down hill from there; was given the incorrect change back, the flavor of the day was caramel pecan , no caramel Next I pulled off and realized that I did not have my drinks. Once home with my food it was not what I ordered. I know sometimes thing could be off. However the review is because of treatment I received when I called to talk to the manger about what happened. One of young girl said she was the manger but was not and keep putting me on hold to tell someone what I was saying. I was asked to bring the food back. I explained I lived in Hampton a 25 mins away and that was not an option for me. Than I was offered 10% off my next visit. No I advised I bring all the food back on tomorrow for a full refund. I will never visit this location again. They have lost a loyal customer. I have told many people that did not know about the place to support them. Even sold calendars for a fun raiser. So disappointed in the place will not support the Bloomington Illinois location either own by the same person. That would not take my call to address the matter. So, Culver's was founded in Wisconsin. To me, Culver's in Wisconsin is like Waffle House in Georgia, it seems like there's one on every corner lol. So of course when I went to Wisconsin last month, there was a Culver's only 3 minutes away from my aunt's house and I was excited to try them. In the 11 days I spent in Wisconsin, I ate Culver's 4 times, that's how good it was. What makes Culver's awesome is that your food is cooked to order, so you have to pull forward and someone brings your order out to you. The items I enjoyed the most were the double butterburger with cheese, the onion rings and the root beer float. I actually went twice in one day for the root beer float. Culver's root beer is so good, but even better with their creamy custard added. I came home from Wisconsin October 16, 2017 and did a search just to see if there was a Culver's near me, because the super creamy root beer float and onion rings alone are good enough for me to check. Lo and behold what do I see? A Culver's in McDonough that literally just opened, yay! I decided to stop by there the next day. October 17, 2017, I made my trip to Culver's and the food was nothing like it was in Wisconsin. The root beer float wasn't creamy and decadent. The onion rings didn't have the same sweet and savory batter. The vanilla custard didn't taste fresh and was overly sweet. The burger was the most disappointing. It didn't have the crispy edges or flat grill taste that made me love the burger in Wisconsin. The bun tasted old as well, but worst of all, my mom and I both had a burger patty that wasn't fully cooked, there was still some pink in it. Today, November 20, 2017, I decided to give Culver's another try, because I thought it would be fair to do before leaving a review right after they opened. I've come to the conclusion that the food here just isn't good. I hate that some people won't get a genuine idea of how the food is supposed to taste. I got a burger again and it was just as bad, sans the uncooked meat. Again, the bread tastes old and the burger patty also tastes old. A burger from any major chain restaurant probably tastes better than what I just tasted. I say "tasted" because I took 2 bites and threw it away. The onion rings were better today, but still not the same. I also got an order of their limited time only sweet potato fries which weren't that great. They needed to cook a little longer. I didn't even bother buying a root beer float this time. I hate inconsistency. The Culver's in Georgia should be just as good as the one in Wisconsin. I couldn't finish my meal either time I went and I'm sad that the franchise is 12 mins away from me, but it's just not good. read more

I found another burger spot!! I ordered the Swiss burger with cheese and mushrooms. I'm not sure if it was the buttered bun or the burger but, the sandwich was really good. This is not your typical hamburger spot. I've gone twice, each time there was a wait but, both time my food was fresh and still hot when I got home. It is worth every bit. The first time I ate at a Culver's was in Wisconsin, the fried chicken was so good when I one open in Ga I was excited. I was disappointed when we got there to find no fried chicken on the menus. I had the roast beef dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was ok , beef was salty, potatoes were barley warm . Won't order again.
