    Really cooked onion rings.
    Gary C.

Another chain restaurant, so the decor and ambience are pretty standard. The place looked clean, had a self serve fountain drink area. I've never eaten at Culver's before, but had seen many articles about them being the best burger joint. Service was the regular walk up to counter ordering. They give you a number for the table to bring out your order to you. One nice thing, they don't ask for a tip on the pay machine. Down to the food now, and we split a Mushroom Swiss double. 1. The burgers are thin and fried on the griddle for a crisp surface. I get that, but they are cooked with no salt or pepper on them. I don't get that. There is salt and pepper at the drink station, but trying to add it after the fact isn't a good choice for me, especially on a burger with toppings, I did add pepper on ours, since there were few mushrooms on it. (see photo) So for me, the burger meat wasn't great and the the lack of shrooms was disappointing. 2. We got there just before 1PM, so the lunch crowd was pretty much leaving. The onion rings were overdone. It seemed to me that they were tossed back in the oil to make them hot again. I would call them refritos oniones. (see photo) A pretty disappointing lunch. Cost was decent.

Normally decent enough... But tonight one of the pattys was severely undercooked. Hoping I don't get food poisoning!

Not too shabby for a fast food burger place. Very surprised to see a smashburger with crispy edges. Fries were your standard crinkle cut fries. A little let down by the cheese curds. Maybe they weren't fresh but the cheese wasn't as chewy as I would have liked. Worth the visit. Above average in the fast food chain restaurant world.

    North Atlantic Cod

This restaurant was very clean and very open. It wasn't super busy so that was nice! I'm currently on a fish & chips hunt so I got the Atlantic cod. Sadly this didn't hit the mark for me. Picture wise, it looks amazing! The fish pieces were huge and flaky, but taste was off for me. Idk if it was the grease but I couldn't finish my plate. The fries were good & the coleslaw was normal. I did enjoy making my own sundae so that was great! Be aware you are only limited to 3 toppings(they have great options I will say that) & per usual you pay for each topping. The soft serve always hits the spot so there was some light at the end of the tunnel there :) It's looks like a great place, I think I might try the burgers out next tim

    North Atlantic Cod Dinner

I reviewed this place for the ice cream and I went back to try the Cod dinner. The fish itself was tender, the batter was a bit thick, the fries was old because it was a bit hard and tasted stale so that was a disappointment, it also comes with a small dinner roll... that was dry and a bit hard. They give you 1 tarter sauce per dinner plate and that was not enough for the 2 pieces of cod that you get for that meal and a drink is. It included in the meal.

What the hell has happened to this place. We waited for over 35 minutes in line in the drive thru. They were out of mushrooms, vanilla custard, and Swiss. Oh well, tried to do without it. Got 2 concretes that were completed melted shakes. We live 15 minutes away. We made sure we had 3 burgers, the boxes were all there. But then we get home...and TWO of our burgers came WITHOUT PATTIES. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I don't care how busy you are, how the hell do you not add burger to the burgers? That's literally the easiest part. Screw this place. Not worth the drive or the wait!

Stopped by late evening and the place still looked clean and inviting. The burger was cooked perfectly and didn't fall apart.

Apparently they started charging for fry sauce.... In Utah... and they don't ask when you order if you want any. What a hassle.

Now that I have your attention and I've given you an ear worm, I'll share a story. My friends and I spent a Saturday on ísbíltúr, which is an Icelandic tradition of taking an ice cream road trip. We hit five different places around the Salt Lake valley and lived to tell about it; with only a slight stomachache. This one is a drive through with a small walk-up window and seating outside. It happened to be our last stop on our journey and was the perfect ending to our adventure! We ordered our cones at the window and then sat on the patio in the warm evening air, enjoying our final treats of the day. The patio is situated between two drive through lines, so the setting is a little unusual, but still good vibes. Blue Moo offers Blue Bell ice cream (IYKYK) and is generous in their portion sizes. There's a lovely blue cow photo op adjacent to the drive thru (logistics can be a little tricky if there are cars queuing up).

Blue Moo carries the iconic Blue Bell ice cream - a brand that isn't sold in grocery stores here in Utah. They had a great variety of flavors and each scoop comes in a cup AND a cone! We got the Oatmeal Cookie and Pistachio Almond. Both delicious! The prices were reasonable and the portions were decent. The staff were super nice and the tables outside were kept clean for those that want to stay and eat their ice cream. Can't wait to go back to try more flavors! P.s. there are a lot of Gluten Free options too!

This is a new area we are trying to get up to speed on since this now affects our daughter. This is a great option for dessert if you have this type of concern. I've been so sad that they had closed years ago. Upon seeing that they had reopened we had to get in and try my old favorite Peppermint Chocolate Spray. I craved this for so long that I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my memories. Great news though. It is exactly how I remembered and we were told the recipe hasn't changed at all. I was so happy to scratch an itch I've had for so long by finally getting my hands on this nostalgic treat. All of their ice cream and treats (rice Krispy bars)?that we got were divine. This place is absolutely worth the drive and time for such a wonderful experience. Give them a try. I promise you'll be glad you did.

In this case, I think it is for the better, as you can have ice cream delivered straight to your door! A month or so back I placed an online order right around their same-day cut off time of 4pm. I was so impressed when a bagful of ice cream was dropped off at my door within less than an hour! We enjoyed the following: Rocky Road features a mild chocolate base and small bits of nuts, but I never found even ONE teeny marshmallow in the whole quart (I just looked up the description to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it definitely mentions those squishy white delights!). Fresh Peach Gelato boasts local peaches from Kuwahara. Tangy, but just-sweet enough. Not quite as creamy as others, but that is par for the course with most fruit based ice creams. Oreo has mostly fine Oreo pieces, but a lot. If you had asked me, I'd have guessed my preference would be larger chunks, but I'd be wrong. This is delightful! New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge. Go support this wonderful local business crafting such delicious treats!
