Anyways, after a disappointing dinner at Shoga, we decided to find sweet relief at Culver's. This is a fast food chain that serves up amazing soft serve based desserts like Dairy Queen as well as the typical burgers. We went here for the first time and the food quality was pretty good. The meat had kind of a dry taste to it probably because of the meat used for the patties. The sauce and pickles were pretty good quality as well. read more

Stopped by for lunch on a Friday with some buddies from work. Mildly busy, plenty of seating. Parking lot is a bit squished but easy to find a spot. It's conveniently located right off the freeway... "That's not a good sign" I replied to the cashier when she admitted she doesn't eat at Culver's... I ended up ordering the regular cheeseburger and fries since she was absolutely WORTHLESS when it comes to recommendations, but I was praising the burger Gods when I saw they had Mountain Dew at the fountain. Filled up my cup, grabbed some ketchup and fry sauce, and found my seat. They brought my meal to me pretty quickly, about 4 minutes later, recognizing my table by the numbered stand they gave me at the counter. For some reason there was a single pickle chip perched gracefully atop my bun. Don't get me wrong, there were pickles inside too! But this one on top... so alone... so inexplicable... a mystery. Why was it there? Is this how they garnished their burgers at Culver's? My colleagues were just as confused when I pointed it out so I'm assuming it's not a customary practice. Regardless, I chucked that slice of dill back into the burger and nom'd till it was no more. While I can't recommend the place too strongly, I wouldn't say no if I were invited there again. read more

Went tonight (Friday) at 9pm for dessert. Was curious why it's popular. It's just another burger joint in Utah with a bad business system: very unorganized, couldn't print out my receipt, staff couldn't handle work flow, lost my order then found it 40 minutes later. I understand they're just green college kids, new in the workforce. I've read the reviews. It's been a few years now, enough time to improve the system. This Culver's visit was a disappointment. From growing up with Culver's as a kid; there have been great expectations built throughout my visits. Today, that was ruined at the Culver's of Orem. Stopped by the drive through first for some custard with my little brother. was told over the speaker box about an "issue" with the drive thru and was told we could wait to order at the window or come inside. We decided to come inside. We waited 7 minutes to have our order taken We waited 13 mins after for 1 sundae and 1 concrete mixer I counted 13 employees most of them laughing and joking. Waited 26 minutes at the drive-thru people behind me were getting their food. finally went in got the food, got home to Springville, the double bacon cheese burger wasn't a double, the large fries with no salt had salt and was small, no fry sauce. Sad! Won't be going back. My husband eats there 3 times a week at that location and orders the same thing usually with No problem. But when ever I go there for him it's always a long wait. Hot, fresh, delicious, and quick! Hard to find that combination. Tried the new Wisconsin 3 cheese butterburger. Great flavors! Only downside was the cheese made it quite greasy and the patty was a bit raw. May be a new cook. And, they have garbage cans that your tray actually fits in! So you don't make a mess when dumping your trash! Revolutionary. Can't figure out why more fast foods haven't thought of that! I was in the mood for a juicy burger. I wanted something that was fast and new to me. I contacted a friend that lived out here and he recommended Culver's. I got the Double Cheddar Burger ($4.89) and Cod Filet Sandwich ($4.99). I wanted a juicy burger, but got a greasy one instead. The burger was so greasy that I had to wipe my hands after each bite. All I really tasted was cheese and oil. The Cod Filet was a lot better. The cod is fried in a thick batter and is still kept flaky. The service from the time I walked in to the time I left was awesome. I was greeted by an employee outside, at the register, and when I left. We're in Orem for a weekend getaway and saw Culver's near our hotel. Decided to stop in for dinner. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food for a "fast food " place. Food was hot and everything tasted very fresh. Friendly staff. Will definitely stop again when we're town. read more

The service is great! The fries came out hot! The custard is pretty good. Now for the critique criticism.... first of all the soda machines were disgusting! I don't know when the last time they poured hot water down the drains but it was caked on with slime. The condiment station was a little messy but not bad. It wasn't stocked but they might have just gone through there dinner rush. (Give them the Benefit of the doubt). Now they advertise cooked to order so I would think they would ask but they never did. This is my first time coming here so I was not familiar how it worked. I did have a coupon so I tried not being too picky. When they delivered our culver deluxe one had cheese and one did not. I had to return one of the Deluxe to get the cheese on. They were very friendly and apologetic. My six year old son spit out his hamburger and said he couldn't eat it because the meat was too hard. The worker gave me my new deluxe burger and it looked so much better. I asked the girl what did it mean to be "cooked to order?" She said some people want it cooked to order but they usually will let them know." Then she went on her way (not being rude but not being helpful either) I let my son eat my burger as eat the hot fries. I don't know if I would come back. I can understand if someone request it extra well done but to serve it to anyone is not a good way to represent your food. Ok so I own a restaurant and so if it was my stuff I would hope the customer would give me the Opportunity to fix it. I did approach a manager and he was sincere and apologized for the quality. I've eaten at Culver's in Wisconsin where it's got the same level of fans as In-N-Out. I've never quite gotten it. I've never quite gotten In-N-Out either. Growing up in Chicago, the fast food of my youth isn't sold in any chain fast food place, so perhaps I just don't understand it. The onion rings are very good. The burger is better than the average large chain. I'd go here over the large national places. I'd go here over the Greek places. That said, the burgers are not the reason to come. The shrimp is cooked well and tasty. The fried fish is also excellent. The "diner" dishes are a lot better than the local Greek burger places. It's finally beat Wendy's as the goto fast food place. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this place is. Tucker have me great suggestions for what to get and I loved everything I ordered. There cheese curds are the best ever. I have had them before at other locations and the ones here are better. They were the perfect temperature. The lemon ice with raspberry is super good too. I liked the grilled onions on the pot roast sandwich. I was really surprised with how fast my order came and even more surprised with how hot it was. Most of the time when I get something fast at a restaurant I think it's been under a heat lamp. However at this location I could tell that my food was fresh. The bathrooms are clean along with the rest of the restaurant. I noticed that the staff goes above and beyond the average to make sure people are happy in the dining area. read more

There were only 2 cars in front of me, the had me park to wait, and then I waited... and waited... and waited... and when I finally got the concrete mixer, it was basically chocolate milk, and they said if they remade it, it would take the same amount of time and wouldn't be colder... yeah, no more business from me or my people. I started to cancel my order when Spencer, one of the managers, said he'd gladly give me my order and I could come back and pay some time in the near future. Naturally I forgot. Almost a month later when I remembered and came back ready to pay, my transaction wasn't in the system anymore. I remembered that my total was $34 and some change, but couldn't remember the exact amount. Spencer said since neither of us remembered exactly, "How about I charge you $20?" Like seriously, how nice is this man? I highly recommend not just Culver's, but this SPECIFIC Culver's location because I didn't think that level of customer service existed in 2019. I like Culver's. I often forget they exist and honestly can't remember ever seeing an advertisement for them, but when I remember them I come here. We were on our way somewhere and needed a quick meal, so my girlfriend picked here. The drive thru had a couple cars in it, but it was quickly our turn to order. For the first time ever I opted for buffalo chicken tenders instead of a great burger. I added fries and a drink to it, proceeded to the next window, paid and picked up our food. From the start of the drive thru to the food in hand was around 6 or 7 minutes. The food at Culver's has always been great, but at this location it was greater than ever. The chicken tenders were the perfect amount of crispy and spicy. They gave me honey mustard, sweet and sour, and ranch dipping sauces. I opted to put some hot sauce in my ranch for a spicy ranch and thought it complemented the tenders perfectly, as well as my fries. The sweet and sour was pretty good, though a weird combo to the spicy chicken. They also have fry sauce for your fries if you need. The fries were much better than I've had at other locations. Perfectly cooked, and fresh! It all tasted pretty fresh. A great, quick meal when you're in need of one. The concrete are heavenly as well. I find it hard to leave here without spending $12+ a person, but the food is worth it. read more

Super slow service. They also didn't even know their own menu. We ordered some kids meals which come with a scoop of custard and they wouldn't give us any. They kept saying we had to drive around again and pay for it if we want it. So we left. Their bags didn't even have a scoopie token. Super disappointed in the experience. read more

The butter burgers are the best. The hamburger is cooked just right and I like that you can have it your way. The fries are crinkle fries and not my favorite but they are crispy. I really like the deep fried cheese curds. Add a side of ranch and they are so good. The cheese is ooey gooey and the coating is crispy. The pot roast is so good too. I would never expect to have a delicious pot roast dinner at a fast food place but Culver's does pot roast right. The custard is so rich and creamy and they offer tons of mix-ins. Cheese curds are a bit too small and don't properly deliver on cheese, yet still delicious especially considering the option of crinkle cut fries. Chocolate shakes are a great add on. We waited for like 20 minutes and still hadn't gotten our food, I asked an employee about it and he was super nice, apologized and said he'd be right back. He came back out and explained that they had accidentally skipped the ticket, he apologized again and assured us they would get it out as soon as possible. Right after that a female employee came out to let us know how sorry they were, she gave us a free ticket thing to use on our next visit. They got our food out super fast after that. My wife and I were running some errands yesterday, and she had the best idea either of us have ever had in the history of our marriage and probably in the history of all marriages of all time. LET'S GO GET SOME CULVER'S!!! Of course we were weak and timid and only shared one shake. We got a chocolate shake with marshmallow cream and Oreos mixed in. Literally, I challenge anyone to come up with a better combination than that. As expected, it was like Nirvana had exploded into an atom bomb of flavor . . . inside my mouth. That means it was good, in case you were wondering. The only reasoning for this being 4 instead of 5 stars is that the server gave us a vanilla shake. I immediately asked him to make it chocolate as I had requested (I promise I was polite!). He was slightly put off and annoyed that he had to remake it. This was my first time to culvers ever. This place is pretty expensive for a fast food place but seemed to have pretty decent quality. I was thinking about doing another one of my Novel like reviews... but I will keep short and sweet. Burger- Good tasted fresh nothing exceptional. Chicken sandwich - almost on chic fil a level which is saying something because chic fil a only does chicken sandwiches. I liked it, it was fresh nice and crunchy not soggy. The only reason this place got 3 stars. THE VERDICT: I don't think I will ever go back, maybe to get one of those chicken sandwiches... but probably not. You definitely have to try it if you haven't ever gone here to see if it tickles your pallette more than mine. read more
