Culver's is a great family place. They have such good burgers and fries. One of my favorite thing to eat there is their cheese curds. They are always friendly and nice there too even though usually there is high school and college kids working they teach them to have great customer service skills. I can't get over how great this place was. Very clean, professional atmosphere. The staff was clean cut, friendly and competent. First impressions were excellent when I arrived. We had a group of 12 people and a manager immediately helped me put together several tables in a corner and gave us a few tips on group sized deals. He returned throughout to make sure everything was going okay. Then we got the food. Amazing. I would say just below red robin quality, but much cheaper. Great cheese curds and decent crinkle fries. Everyone in our group loved their burgers and chicken strips. Two last things. Hands down best shake I've had probably since I moved to Utah 3 years ago. All their ice cream is freshly made in store every day, and they have a great selection of add ins. And the flowers at all the tables are real. Culver's food is pretty good, but I was particularly impressed with the customer service at my last visit! I went through the drive through where they have everyone pull forward and wait for their food, and apparently they accidentally dropped my food on the way out. This place is on point! Or maybe that's just the 12 hour drive to Orem talking. I stayed near by this place a few times and finally decided to try it out. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the menu was big. We had a cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, cheese curds and onion rings. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We tried the "fry sauce" and that was bomb! I definitely recommend the fry sauce. Dip some of those cheese curds in it and your taste buds will sing! This restaurant has everything you love about Dairy Queen (American food and ice cream) but so much better quality! The food is great and affordable with great portions. Custard is way better than the stuff other places pass off as ice cream. I spoke with the manger to arrange a large order for my office and he was clean cut and extremely courteous which reflects on the entire business. I was treated so well and the food was great. What can you say about culvers... the standard for them is great food and extremely helpful and polite staff. All of these were met easily by them. And the only thing not giving them that fifth star is the lack of wow. Nothing on the menu or monthly specialty that really wowed me. read more

I don't write reviews often because I usually don't care that much if a place sucks but man I waited over an hour in that drive thru waiting area parking spot and all I ordered were two mixers. Everyone else who waited only waited for maybe 5 minutes max for their food. When I decided to go in and ask what's up, they had completely forgotten I was out there, even though I was the only person out there right before closing. I wasn't rude or anything, just asked if I could get my food, and they apologized but I was expecting maybe they would give me the mixers free of charge since I waited an hour and they totally forgot about me, but nah all I got was some bogo coupon. I don't get to go to these very often so when I am visiting somewhere that has a Culvers, I make sure and stop. Their custard is so yummy, not to mention fried cheese curds. I went in last Friday (10-14-16; around 1:00pm; #71) and ordered the Mushroom Swiss Butterburger. Usually this place is awesome. As always the staff was wonderful and the place was clean. However, something that happened this time was very frustrating. I ordered the Burger as stated above. Then verified that it was a double Mushroom Burger after I ordered. The man that checked said it was. (I asked because I was afraid I ordered a single). I got the burger went back to work and found that not only was it a single, it had zero mushrooms. I have pictures. It was literally ONLY bread, 1 patty, slice of swiss cheese, tomato and lettuce. Nothing else. Dry, gross and because my lunch time was up, no lunch for me that day. Well the fries were great. Which is highly disappointing because they had been so stellar but screwed me. In a way I cannot even guess how. When it was made no one questioned why it looked like it was 4 days old? Anyway, there are too many choices to have to dig through my bag to verify anything is off. I recommend you guys try something else, this mess up was too much to pass off as accidental. My first trip(s) to Culvers was in Wisconsin almost 2 decades ago. It may be better than I remember. The butter burger is consistently good. Custard is great. Had about an hour wait to get my windshield replaced next door. Was feeling a bit hungry and it was the closest option. I haven't been in a Culver's for probably 8 years. What a pleasant surprise. I was quickly greeting entering the building. The person working the registers was very kind and friendly. I couldn't believe how clean everything was. Just not something you see against competitors. Wait time was around 8 minutes. The sourdough melt was fantastic. The pretzel bites weren't the best but I kinda expected as much. A better cheese sauce would make a huge difference. I've only been here once, and I'm not sure how I like it yet.. The fries were YIKES salty. Like so salty that when you grab one, you can hear the salt falling off. Don't get me wrong, I love me some salty fries, but cringing when eating them is a little extreme. The only other thing is the patty sizes. I rarely give five stars, just because i think they should be something special and amazing. This is a nice place, newer and clean. People were nice and the food is fresh and well done. It always seems to me many of the burgers lack salt, but unlike many other places there are salt and pepper shakers at the tables. I love the food, most is made fresh, with fresh ingredients. The downside is i feel my burger meat is pressed paper thin, the fries need help. They remind me of the krinkle fries your mother makes in the oven. read more

It was really hard to give them 4 stars. The ice cream saved them. A friend said their ice cream was heaven so I asked her what else they had their and she said "who cares, I just get the ice cream". Now I know why. I ordered a burger and fries. It was drenched in grease. It was hard to taste anything other than grease. Not much flavor. The fries were crunchy but nothing to ooh and awe over. But I ordered some ice cream to try because that was what my friend had told me to go here for. The ice cream was fabulous. I would so come back for that. So I give them 5 stars for their ice cream but a 2 star for the rest. The place was nice and clean. Plenty of places to sit. I looked around and their were not many people ordering meals. I love Culver's. Their food is always good, their service has always been A+ for me. I love the way the way they do their drive thru because instead of everyone waiting for their food at the window, you usually just pay there and then pull up to some waiting spots, then they bring the food to your car, which means you don't have to wait for all the cars in front of you to get their food if they have a large order or anything. It is always quick and the people are friendly. Not to mention, their butterburgers are great and so are their onion rings. This location has always been wonderful, in my opinion. read more

The cheeseburger was subpar. The party was thinner than a piece of bacon and it had kraft cheese on it rather than real cheese. I got the side salad and that had old lettuce and cucumber. The only thing going for them is dessert. I got the Oreo custard and it was good. read more

Ate here today while visiting colleges in Utah with the son. Good friendly service. First time eating at a Culver's. Burgers were a little greasy. Root beer is comparable to A&W. Fried cheese curds we're good. 4 stars because the burgers were grease bombs. Other than that, good place for a quick bite. Many other things on the menu besides burgers. This place consistently serves garbage food. We stopped eating here about a year and half ago because of the quality and serve. My mother was eating in and I had a packed scheduled so she offered to bring dinner home. We got the fish dinners. We were missing a roll, the potatoes taste like dirt and the fish was under cooked and two pieces where stuck together so the middle was absolute mush. I called and asked if I could get it replaced on another night. Their "policy" is you have to bring the food back in to get it replaced. I certainly didn't have time to go in but didnt want to be out $13 for a dinner. Even the managers attitude was o well. He replaced the dinner and offered a coupon but why should I want to come back and get more garbage food. I will not be back for sure this time. read more

The service here really disappointed me. I went thru the drive thru tonight, ordered a 4 pc chicken tender meal and a side of onion rings...not unusual right? I paid $12 something for this meal (not complaining abt the price but I'm thinking its gonna be better than McDonalds at that price for fast food ya know?) They asked me to pull forward so they could keep the flow of the drive thru going. No biggie that's normal. So, then I literally watch 12 (12!) cars pass me, 3 of which also pulled over to wait for their orders, which they got within 2-3 min after pulling over. I waited for over 10 minutes for FAST FOOD in a drive thru, but what really gets me is that I just got home and am seeing that I got 3 chicken tenders. That's it. It was a 4 chicken tender meal. No fries, no onion rings that were also part of my initial order. Just 3 chicken tenders. Ummmm...not trying to be that person that whines about fast food BUT not only can this place not count, but they didn't even get 1/2 of the order right. IN THE DRIVE THRU. After 10 minutes. Maybe I should of went in and complained in person but if this makes sense why would I go thru that hassle if I chose to go thru the drive thru to begin with? I'm so put off by this place I don't even want to eat the 3 chicken tenders. If you want to get what you order in a timely manner don't go to this place. read more

I don't know if the custard was extra good today or what...but I came in to Culver's today and had some custard that I seriously considered some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I ordered a mini concrete mixer with chocolate custard, salted caramel, and cookie dough, and it was absolute bliss. The custard was so thick and creamy and chocolatey. I go to this Culver's location in Orem every so often and the employees are always really nice and helpful. They always run your food about in a timely manner as everything is made to order hot and fresh! The food has been great every time it's really fresh and tasty.
