    Grilled chicken sandwich was fresh!
    Roda C.

Besides the super fresh, diner quality meal I had: grilled chicken breast sandwich on toasty buttered buns, fresh, crunchy pickles, lettuce & tomato with mayo... those FRIES are to die for! I rarely eat fast food but I had been noticing their billboards and the food in person looks like photos. Perfect. The service with a smile like back in the eighties was such a wonderful surprise. Go here.

    Half melted Caramel Cashew Sundae.

During our day in Daytona Beach, I knew I wanted to get some ice cream and I certainly have fond memories of eating at Culver's, so we popped in to grab a quick sweet treat. After looking at the menu for a second, I decided to go with the Caramel Cashew Sundae ("We drizzle our buttery caramel over vanilla frozen custard, add a generous helping of whole roasted cashews and top with a sweet maraschino cherry") and went for the single scoop option. It took an awfully long time to get to our table, like 15 minutes, and when it did arrive it had melted quite significantly. I have no idea how they felt it was cool to give us half melted ice cream but anyway we immediately began eating. It's a good sundae. The frozen custard is creamy and flavorful, while the caramel sauce and roasted cashews enhance the deliciousness. It's just too bad the frozen custard was mostly liquid.

We came back from a day on the beach and the fam wanted to try out this place. I was a bit turned off thinking this would be another fast food joint however I was impressed with service and food. My heart was set on eating on the beach at some beachfront restaurant however between the extreme heat and three minors lol we decided to come here. To my surprise they had fried shrimp which I was a bit apprehensive to try but wth I went for it. Well they were really good and fresh! Not bad at all! It came with fries, crinkle cut my fave, dinner roll and a coleslaw salad. Coleslaw was nice and creamy but the roll was dry. Hubs had the pot roast dinner‍ which he actually enjoyed. Kids had burgers and got free scoops of ice cream they call something I forgot but it was delish. The restaurant was very clean and they followed with safety guidelines to a T! Will drop by from time to time.

I am fuming. My girlfriend and I went to this Culver's as we both love Culver's. We waited about 5 minutes to order, not too bad. I ordered the deluxe double butter burger with mashed potatoes and gravy. It took about 10 minutes to come out, again not terrible. We drove the 15 minutes home and found out that they forgot my mashed potatoes and gravy. We packed it all back up, drove back the 15 minutes to the Culver's, I went in to ask for my mashed potatoes and gravy and ask for them to potentially remake the food as it had gone cold by now. I got up to the counter and told a man and woman that they had forgotten my masked potatoes, and before I could ask for a remake, the woman threw me a bag said sorry, and they both promptly walked away. A little annoyed I walked back to my car. We drove all the way back home, reopened the now cold food, and started eating. What really has me mad however is that once I got to the bag of mashed potatoes I opened it up and found a cup of mashed potatoes without gravy.. and they kindly included a knife to eat with.. nothing else. What the hell. Now as I'm getting even more upset I look at the receipt again and notice this time that they got it wrong on the receipt. I even asked my girlfriend if I said the wrong thing and she said I definitely asked for the mashed potatoes and gravy. So at this point I can't even go back and ask for a new mashed potatoes with gravy... not that I'd want to make that drive again... just all around an awful experience.

Had no idea they had Culvers in Florida! Ordered a concrete mixer shake and have absolutely no regrets about it.

Just the best faster food places in America. I know the review is short but I don't want the place to get to crowded.

OK, how is it that I've literally lived across the street from this place and never tried it until…read morejust very recently?? If you're eating wings anywhere else in Volusia county, and maybe even all of Florida, you are seriously missing out!! Mulligan's has THE BEST wings, hands down, of any place in Florida. (Sorry Houligan's, Wing House and Hooters...these guys have you beat!) And if you read my other reviews, you might notice that I'm something of a "wing nut"! Try the "Mulligan" wings...they're simply amazing! The sauce is they're own concoction of "sweet, sour, BBQ and spices", and it's mouth-watering delicious! Have them grilled for an even more awesome taste treat...I prefer to have mine "wet", AFTER the grill...I know, it's just gluttony!! The wings are true "JUMBO" wings, very large and meaty. I'm a big eater and a basket of ten, sometimes with their amazing french fries, are enough to stave off even my appetite. The rest of the food is just as tantalizing and I've heard really positive things about their Reuben sandwiches, their 1/2 racks of ribs and their Fried Green Beans. But as awesome as it is, the food isn't the only reason you should come to this very friendly, Cheers-style pub. The people who work at Mulligan's are some of the friendliest you'll meet. The term "neighborhood bar and grill" fits this little place to a tee, and from the extremely amicable bartenders to the affable and never-far-away wait-staff, you'll feel like you're part of the family the first time you come here. Now for us beer drinkers, they have the usual "yellow fizzy" culprits on tap, but they also have a seasonal brew or two (such as Sam Adams Summer Ale or Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale). Of course they have Guiness Stout on tap and, in bottles, they have DogFishHead IPA (60 minute!), Spaten Optimator, Red Stripe, and all the usual Buds, Bud Light, etc. They round out their menu with an impressive dessert section for a bar and grill. Lately, they've had two home-made goodies available...a Peanut Butter Crunch Pie and White Chocolate Cheesecake. The Lady and I tried to get the Chocolate Decadence cake that still graces the menu, but alas, it is no longer offered. We tried the Peanut Butter Crunch Pie...it was delicious and decadent. We also tried the Key Lime Pie, and if there's anything that this establishment does NOT do well, it's the Key Lime Pie. I don't recommend it. I DO, however, recommend coming to watch the game on one of their MANY flat panel TV's or joining the crowd on Friday or Saturday night for one of the best Karaoke parties in the area. There's quite a bit of talent that shows up, and the party goes on until 2:00 am! So if you find yourself in Port Orange craving some AMAZING wings, and an all-around great time, get down to Mulligan's and check it out. Since I live very close by, I'll probably see you there!

The menu had a very small selection and frankly nothing new or innovative. Drinks were delivered and she walked away. We decided to leave at that point. Had to wait for our bill of course. As we headed east through Port Orange, he spotted a couple of national chain restaurants and I cringed inside. But then we saw Houligan's, not knowing anything about this small local *chain*, and we both wanted to give it a try. Now that I know a bit of their 30-year legacy in this area, I'm happy with our choice. My only critique is that some of the menu prices weren't current. For example, adding a side salad to my Philly cheese steak was $4.99 on the menu but we were charged $5.99. That said, it was a good size salad & worth $6. Which leads me to digress about their ranch dressing... It was REALLY good. So good that I asked for an extra cup for my Philly cheese steak & Hubs' fries (99¢). Our server mentioned that their Ranch dressing is made in-house, and it definitely shows. I'm not often a Philly Cheesesteak gal but on this night I was craving one. When our server confirmed that I could have it sans peppers, onions & mushrooms, that sounded perfect! It was fantastic! And, YES, I dipped in that amazing Ranch dressing a few times. Not sure why I didn't opt for the French Dip, but I'll definitely consider that sandwich on another visit. I chose mashed potatoes as my side, and they were absolutely incredible. Hubs ordered a burger with mushrooms & loved it. We also split a side salad, which is how I discovered that Ranch dressing. IT WAS SO GOOD. Realistically, I'm not sure when we'll be able to visit another Houligan's but I hope we can. We do pop over to Daytona occasionally but usually on the way to Jacksonville or on the way home to Tampa - not really to eat. But now that we know about Houligan's, and hubs still wants to try their Wally Wings, we may plan a future route just so we can visit again.

We mentioned it to the waitress and she immediately took them back and sent for a new batch which was nice of her to do. Our meal came out and we were very happy with everything else. I ordered the Club sandwich- great portion size and tasted fresh. Hubby got the Buffalo Chx Wrap and he was happy with it as well. We also ordered Teriyaki wings which were cooked perfect.
