I went to one our favorite chains yesterday and encountered an unacceptable situation. When we tried to pay the check with our American Express card, we were refused. We were shocked about this as all the many other Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin stores that we have been to all took the card. I asked the manger why and she said as indicated on the door that card is not listed. They have been open for four months and still haven't resolved this matter. Many of us Amex card holders are very loyal because we get great perks from it and not just rich people who make up a high percentage of its members. Many earn airline miles that allow them to travel more often to visit their relatives. Their service was quite slow even though it wasn't that busy. They have already abandoned the corporate recycling policy of other stores after just four months. There seems to be a conspiracy by some element of business to block American Express from its membership. read more

The thing this place has going for it is their employees! They have a VERY large staff of cheerful folks who bring your food to the table and are attentive during your dining experience. Now for the food...it is ok not great. Kind of a basic hamburger joint with frozen custard too. The burgers and sandwiches are ok but the fried chicken is really bad. It looked like it had been cooked hours before it was served to me and was dry and chewy. The sides were unexciting too. If you go stick to the burgers and fries or onion rings. The rings are really quite good! If you are looking for a cheerful smile this is clearly the right place to go! read more

I love Culver's especially this location usually. Today I stood in line for over 15 minutes. There was only one employee ringing on the register. I don't think it was a staffing issue as I had seen several other employees behind the register. I would normally give five stars but to wait that long just to be rung up was horrible. read more

My family actually loves the food at Culvers a lot, but every single time WITHOUT fail they have forgotten one of our orders in the drive through. My mom has gone through the drive through three times over the span of several months. Three times an entire meal has been forgotten. Then she was forced to wait for them to make the other meal while the first meal got cold. Once she waited FORTY, that's right, 4-0 minutes for a burger. My mother is stubborn and she probably should have just left, but this is absurd. Once as an apology they gave my mother a custard coupon. The second time - the time they made her wait 40 minutes - they did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation (great customer service guys, great job). The third time, which was approximately 5 minutes ago, they gave two free meal coupons. I would love to say I'd never go back, but we all know that's probably not true. But seriously Culvers, if you see a little blonde lady with a southern accent come through the drive through DO NOT MESS UP HER ORDER. read more

They were busy so I had to wait a few extra moments at the counter. The manager on duty comped my meal. This is just one more reason why Culver's is above and beyond any of their competitors. Can't say enough good things about them! read more

Great extensive menu with lots of choices for those who don't like burgers or want a change from time to time. With out a doubt my favorite hamburger!!Each one cooked exactly the way I like it. I personally don't like custard but they have many flavors that are quite popular. Fries are OK but the fish & chips & shrimp dinners & salads are very good. I also like Pepsi on draft & they serve it there! Quick service although each meal is made to order. read more

Burgers just the way I like them...crispy on the edge and piled with fresh toppings. Real red onion slices not the wimpy skinny limp rings served many places. Service is friendly and quick. Food and fries delicious. I'll be back. read more

I went to Culver's today for a drive through lunch. When I got home, my order was not correct. Gave them a call, and was told to come on down for a new order. I picked up my order at the drive through, and by the time that I arrived home, they had called and told my husband, that the order I had just picked up was incorrect. BELIEVE this, they actually delivered the correct order to us, about two miles away. AND delivered two pints of ice cream for our trouble. NOW, THAT'S WHAT I CALL GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ordered from the drive thru and was handed our milkshakes right after paying, told to park and they would walk out to bring the rest of the order. While some might want to sip while they wait, customers should be asked. Because after the 5 minutes waiting for our food, our milkshakes were more milk than shakes at that point and we still had to drive the food home. We live close, but not close enough to turn around after we opened our burgers to see that we didn't get the "works" (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles) that we ordered and was clearly charged (in red ink) on the receipt. This was our first time here so we don't know if the works are supposed to be on the burgers already or on the side in a cup like Roy Roger's does. I was annoyed but luckily we had tomato and lettuce at the ready and added them to the burgers. The patties are yummy and the crinkle fries were good, I normally don't care that style. Cheese curds were good, we liked the seasoning. Going to give this place another try as the burger patty themselves are good enough to make me forget the boy at the registered that cursed when we told him he gave us the wrong flavor of shakes. They have computer screens at the window so you would think we could see the order being displayed to make sure they are correct before driving up to the window but there were just pictures of food like an ad on the screen. Maybe dining in would be a better experience. read more
