I've been a Culver's fan since discovering them in Austin, TX, in early 2000s. Because I've had good experiences with several locations since then, I've been trying to give this one the benefit of the doubt. I've extended grace in several less than stellar situations (such as no hamburger patty on the Butterburger ). But today was the day I said I'm done. Unfortunately, the quality is just subpar. I realize it's been a very trying time but I hope owners/management can improve and I'll try it again in 6 months or so. Let's consider what Culver's is, and not what it is NOT. This is not a five-star, white linen napkin & tablecloth place. However, if you want reasonably priced food, with an attractive variety, and such friendly service, then Culver's really should be your place. How can you not appreciate a menu that includes chopped steak, fried shrimp, cod, pork tenderloin sandwich (generous portion & tasty), cheese curds, and burgers? THEN, top it all off with delicious custard ice cream for dessert! What? The Georgia Peach frozen custard was amazing and soooo creamy. I left my partially consumed quart at my in-laws, and then went back to Culver's the NEXT DAY for more. I took off one star as my to-go order was missing the chocolate/Reese's concrete. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Literally sat in line for my entire lunch brake waiting for my order, only to be told to wait ten more minutes. When I finally got my food THERE WAS NO BURGER ON THE BUN. First time and last time. Drove 8 miles to check it out. Ordered a double hamburger deluxe with grilled onions. Received a burnt cheeseburger. The burnt taste was so bad, I couldn't taste anything else. I took one bite and fed it to the dogs. They didn't complain. The oil in the fryer must not have been hot enough as the fries were soggy with grease. I tasted one and liked the flavor, but not the grease. The cod was also very greasy. I enjoyed the chocolate malt. The frozen custard does make a difference. So, waste of time, gas, money and gastric pleasure. read more

For anyone who has allergy concerns on the foods you eat, I would highly recommend you are cautious about your decision to choose Culver's. I have a family member with allergies and both the franchise and the corporate office simply do not care. In the end when my concerns were raised with the owner/manager, for the second time he suggested I take my business elsewhere. I have taken his advice, which was very easy to do considering the amount of competition Culver's has in our area. I cannot attest to the concern or customer service of other Culver's franchise locations but I can state with 100% certainty that you should avoid this one because they do not care! New establishment in the Johns Creek area. Built from the ground up... waited upon with much impatience. Gave them plenty of time after initial opening before visiting, as new stores take some time to hit their stride. Apparently I either waited too long, or not long enough. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered two dinners, exactly the same. Fish and chips with slaw and a roll. Large soda, Chocolate shake. They were busy so I expected a wait, but 40 minutes? We were at the point pf leaving when the teen-aged food runner delivered our food. (I do not believe I saw any adults in uniform.) Fish was greasy and dark brown, versus golden brown. The oil it was cooked in was obviously dirty and had been burnt at some point, giving the food a burnt fishy taste. The fries were under-cooked, greasy and tasted like the fish! Service was slow and not knowledgeable. No hand-offs happening here. Change for a cash payment was a challenge. Filthy, and not worth the wait. The service was terrible, lots of people running around, avoiding eye contact, and running back behind the counter as fast as they can. This is not a good place to bring small children because of the ridiculous wait. The food was good, and the ice cream was great. Been here twice now. Food is great, as always, but they can NEVER get our orders right...and service is borderline horrible. Inside tables stay dirty too. First visit - went through the drive thru, and they didn't give us our large cheese curds, a cheeseburger and fries. Didn't realize it until we got home. Second visit - messed up two of our ice creams and charged us for something we didn't order. Cashier was also extremely slow, confusing and horrible. We are excited there is a Culver's much closer to us now. I'm not entirely sure what the big deal is about this place, though... It was a bit odd that when you go through the drive-thru you have to park and place a number on your car. We waited awhile too when you think about how they're suppose to be fast food. Our order was correct, so we were very happy! However, their burgers are just okay - there are much better ones out there! It drives me a bit nuts that the beef is on top of everything. The butter theme also gets old as it makes everything so bland and I personally need more of a flavor palette. I am grateful they offer cod on their menu, but it wasn't my favorite. The cheese curds are good - I would recommend them as a side. Honestly, the pot roast is my favorite item and I only had a small sampling of it from the person I was dining with on my first visit. I just might not be accustomed to the Wisconsin-style food considering I'm from Atlanta. Their tea wasn't the best either. We have been there so many times now, it is in our regular rotation. The people working here are so incredibly nice. I mean, REALLY nice, like, nicer than Chick-fil-A employees! Some of my mom-friends treated our kids to custard after the last day of school, and the manager came by to see if he could send custards out for the moms who did not order for themselves. And when the employees bring out the custard to the kids, it is always with such kindness. So, the service is outstanding. I want to the food, which I think is equally as great as the service. We have family in Wisconsin, so we were thrilled to have a legit custard restaurant so close to home. And they sell cheese curds! The burgers are quite good, and every time I have ordered mine with a note for gluten allergy, it has come out perfectly. It's far and away the best fast food burger for celiac sufferers. Every kids meal comes with a free custard, so be sure to hold onto the paper tickets on the kids meal bags. And also be sure to hang onto the other half of the ticket, because when you collect 10, you turn it in for a free kids meal. read more

I went for the first time, and had a good experience! The staff is quite young but everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was there late at night and still got fresh hot fries and a good burger. Compared to places like cheeseburger Bobby and five guys I think the freshness is good but the patties are a tad thin. I personally like that you can put your own condiments. Price point is good imo for comparable places. I saw the staff trying to work hard and clean tables and thank their customers. Like any new place there's bound to be kinks but I had a good experience. I forgot to ask for lettuce and tomato and they kindly gave it to me in a separate container without charge. I took a fish sandwich and peach custard home. Both very good. Definitely will be back for cheese curds and more food! read more

I have been going to Culver's in Florida for a while and am glad that this one has opened up near us! I really like their burgers and the crinkle cut fries (for some reason) really float my boat! You can get the burger any way you want, but I simply take their Deluxe...lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo. Yummy. This location has only been open a couple of weeks. Food and service is as consistently good and friendly as their other locations. Great custard. Their butter burgers are delicious, and cooked to order. Crinkle cut fries crispy and never too salty. They also offer an extremely decent pot roast available as either a sandwich or a dinner portion with two sides. They also have Wisconsin cheddar fried cheese curds which is something everyone should try at least once. Docked one star for getting our initial order wrong, but it was cheerfully corrected. It never moved from frozen custard to milkshake consistency in the 20 minutes home, and neither of us could taste the malt in mine at all. I've seen Culver's during my travels around the country, but never bothered to stop in. Now that we have a noisy, messy child, a place like Culver's is great for a 5:30pm dinner. Everything was cooked to order: husband and I had burgers, cheese curds, chicken tenders and fries for the small girl, and the kids meal came with a small custard. For fast casual - it was good. Burger was ok, but the chicken tender was pretty tasty. I didn't try the custard, but he said it was really good. Fries were decent, curds ok. Employees were all super friendly and at least two people stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. Not sure if that's just a thing that happens when they're newly opened or all the time. I look forward to trying the custard and something other than the burger. Overall it was a decent place to go with kids, but set your expectations properly. Went through Drive-thru at lunch, quick in and out. The food quality was good, but I can't say the burger is any different than a Steak and Shake burger right up the road. There are more side options and the fries are better in my opinion. Incorrect Order: I ordered a burger with everything, they come plain. The nice lady taking the order called my order a "deluxe" because I wanted lettuce, tomato, pickle, & onion. She called back, "deluxe, add ketchup add mustard". I ordered a diet Pepsi with my basket. When I got home I had a regularly sweetened Pepsi and there was only cheese on my burger -- no deluxe. Growing pains. Still being new and learning to get the order correct. Drive-thru is cool, the window is for payment, you get a number and pull up to a parking space. ...NOT SO MUCH! I am not really a burger person and on occasion that I do want a burger, I prefer to make it myself. My daughter has eaten here before and chose it as a quick lunch option. When you walk in, you will proceed to the counter to order your selection and have a seat. Your food will be delivered once it is ready. After looking over the menu, I found it to be very basic so I did not order anything but my husband wound up with two cheeseburgers, (due to a promotion) fries and a beverage so I assisted him with his selection. My daughter ordered the chicken strip basket which came with onion rings and a drink. She substituted the drink for a chocolate/mint milkshake Although the onion rings are described as premium, they are actually just the opposite, ( very basic in a beer batter instead of a crispy breaded coating). I am a born and bred southerner and I just don't care for "beer batter" on anything. It's weak! This is why I didn't bother purchasing their fish. If you have a preference, just be aware of this when ordering. Their burger was actually pretty good, (freshly prepared, nicely seasoned, fully dressed) except the burger was a bit greasy and had a poor bread to burger ratio. Meaning that this time, the bun was actually too small and light for the burger. They simply needed a larger and heartier bun because the bun could not hold the burger which is particularly a problem when the burger is fully dressed. Although I prefer handmade fries with the skin still on, their krinkle fries were actually nice, (freshly prepared, hot, not salty). Now, I found their chicken strips very interesting. They did not have the texture of a typical strip as they were soft like fish. When we were trying to describe the texture, one word dominated y thoughts: "pre-chewed". No thanks. I prefer my food to have a predictable and expected texture. Imagine if your oatmeal suddenly had the texture of meatloaf, Ewwwl! ZERO STARS needs to be a thing. Normally Culver's burgers are amazing. This place is absolutely horrible. They are pressing the burgers thinner than the slice of cheese and burning them to a crisp. We asked to speak to a manager and the Assistant Manager came over and said that was how they always that thin and burnt in a completely rude and condescending manner. I went to the front counter and asked if the actual manager was there and the girl at the front said "yes, let me get them". Then the same girl comes back and says the manager is busy and that's how we make our burgers here. We said okay well then we need a refund. Our party of three only each took one bite of each of our burgers. She said we don't give refunds on food that's been eaten. The burgers were not even eatible. I told her this is the reason no one is in here eating the place is never busy. Most Culver's have a line wrapped around the building. They never do. Culver's is above average fast food. Their Butterburgers are cooked to order and very good. Their pork cutlet sandwich is also very good but you need to order the toppings if you want any. The management here is not good at listening or receiving feedback- even reasonable or helpful requests will be viewed as complaints and dismissed. I ordered (prepaid) a bunch of food for curbside pickup on spirit night (where they give a portion of their profits to local schools). The confirmation email said the food was ready so after waiting a few minutes I went inside to get it thinking I was helping them out so they don't have send someone out to my car. The manager said I need to learn to be patient because they "were doing a fundraiser" and didn't seem to understand that my food was ready to be picked up nor did he tell the staff I was waiting inside. I asked if I should wait in my car and he said no. So I waited...and waited. I even met another guy who had also been waiting inside for his curbside pickup order. Finally I saw a staff member go outside with bags so I approached him and he was very polite and said he'd been looking for me. Have been twice. First time order was incorrect, but the burgers were great. Today an epic fail...order completely wrong. My burger was hard and cold and I was afraid I might chip a tooth/most of it went in the trash. My son had a cold burger with not fully cooked bacon, cold cheese and a cold bun swimming in a sea of mayo, lettuce and tomato. The young man at the drive through told us there were no condiments on this particular burger...yet it had everything and was a single. We ordered a double. The food was awful. The drive through is a joke...you pay then they make you pull up and then someone brings you the wrong food and the thought of starting process over makes you wonder where the next Burger King is and sadly we passed Five Guys to get there. I had to attend a training for work in this area and saw this Culver's on my way there. I knew immediately I was coming here on our lunch break! I recruited a coworker to come with and we had an excellent time. The restaurant was clean and service was fairly quick even though it was the busy lunch hour. We dined in the restaurant at a 2 person table/booth combination. I ordered a butterburger and some frozen custard. My coworker also ordered a butterburger, frozen custard, and some fries. For some reason the burgers here at this location are just turning out super bland... like the cooks are not using any salt and pepper. Nothing worse than a bland burger w/ no taste. We love this restaurant! The food is good, hot and fresh. The owner is very nice and attentive. They have lots of items to choose from but we typically order the hamburger with fries and onion rings.
