I'm generally not generous with giving 5 star reviews, but the two kids eating the burgers (which have a heavy layer of cheese, a lot of bacon, and a fried egg on top) BOTH said that this was the best burger they had ever eaten. Seriously. These are teens and they were super impressed. The wait for the food was a tad on the long side, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, with just the right amount of TV's. The waitresses were all super friendly and even entertaining to a degree. This all made the wait perfectly acceptable. It's a nice place to have to wait 5 extra mins for your food. I'll just say that. My BLT had a layer of pork belly, cooked very nicely and full of flavor, and was served with a layer of some kind of spicy mayo, which was outstanding. Honestly, it might have been the best sandwich I have had in years. It was downright amazing and had just the right amount of spice, and freshness and flavor. I can't wait to have it again. The boys both raved throughout eating their burgers. My 11 yr old couldn't finish his but wanted to bring the other half home to put in his school lunch on Monday. They both very much enjoyed their fries and I had the home made potato chips, which were very good (I don't usually like homemade chips!). My 16 yr old ordered a porkbelly Asian zing flatbread thingy that he said he very much enjoyed. I tried some of it and loved it. This joint is well worth a visit. I can't imagine someone not liking this spot. Their menu is somewhat limited, but I consider that a good thing. Although it's a somewhat smaller menu, there are plenty of things for kids and plenty of different items that look pretty good. We can't wait to go back and try it again.
