Every part of the United States has their "it" burger place. Here in Florida, we technically don't have a "it" burger place as we prefer Cuban and seafood, but that doesn't mean we like to try it out when a franchise comes to "The Swamp." Ergo, Brevard country finally has a Culver's and just like anything new and different in Brevard, Culver's opening came off as something prestigious. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype BUT it was still a-okay. For starters, Culver's is located in Hammock Landing right in between Pollo Tropical and some tire place. Getting to them is a bit of an annoyance as you have to enter through Norfold Pkwy. Once you traverse the annoying road system and reach your destination, you'll have to wait in line just to buy burgers. With the wait and the price, Culver's burgers better be the best burgers ever. To put it short and sweet, better than any fast food restaurant, Steak n' Shake, and Red Robin. On par with Five Guys. Doesn't hold a candle to In & Out Burger or Whataburger. Not in the same league as White Castle. Their crinkle fries however were amazing. They were just the right amount of crispiness. I will even go as far as to say they were probably the best fries I have ever eaten here in Brevard country so far. And speaking of sides, I still need to try out the cheese curds. I love those and want to taste how good (or not so good) Culver's have it. Definitely will give this place another chance probably through the drive-through. However, I will not say it is the end-all, be-all place it was hyped up to be. Try it out for yourself. You might be surprised. read more

I am a big fan of Culver's. So much so that I have been to just about every location in Central Florida. I love the burgers, the root beer, and the shakes. One of my top 5fast food burger places. Well maybe not for long. Today what I experienced at this new location was far from what I have come to know as Culver's quality. After ordering from the drive thru it took 25 minutes to get a cheeseburger and curds. 25 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. There were so many cars waiting for food I have never seen such a mess. When I finally got my order they gave me fries instead of curds. After another 10 minute wait I got my curds. I began eating the curds and they were just so flavorless and far from what I have experienced at other locations. I bit into my burger and there was no lettuce and no tomato despite ordering it with the works. Less mustard of course, mustard doesn't belong on cheeseburgers. The burger too tasted way off from what I have experienced at every Culver's location I have ever been to. All the hype on Facebook reels and Tik Tok. I ordered the chicken finger meal, and the fingers were like something I could have gotten out of the freezer section. The soda station was flat, I noticed a worker, who notified his spvs, and she ran the soda for 2 seconds and said it seemed fine ...well, I tasted 4 sodas and they were all flat! I said, "Can you check your CO"...she said she doesn't know, mumbles that, and walks off. 900 kids working on a Friday night, and I need to hunt one down to get my order. I did the survey and left all of this and my contact info. Nothing. I am sure people love the food, but it was meh for me, and service was below my expectations when other places can't get enough kids to work. Went to Culver's around 9:30 PM on a Sunday night to get a concrete mixer and a malt. Several other people waiting for food, we figured since we were only getting these two easy to make things that it wouldn't be too much time. We pulled up to the window and they told us to wait for our food and said it wouldn't take long. We pulled away. 25 minutes went by and we still hadn't seen our food. People who went through the drive-through after us got their food before us. Again, we ordered a malt and a concrete mixer. I finally went inside and spoke to someone and said I either want my food or a refund. He did apologize and said he would give me my refund. But according to what he said to another employee they hadn't even made our shakes yet It should not take 25 minutes, even under busy circumstances, with that many employees working, to make a concrete mixer and a milkshake. I told the clerk that I had a hungry baby in the backseat and couldn't wait any longer. He did apologize but didn't even offer to make the shakes. He did give us our refund. Horrible! First off let me say that I have been to Culver's many times in Michigan and Minnesota and absolutely loved their burgers fries and shakes. This experience in West Melbourne Florida was a disaster. My husband and I each ordered a burger on sourdough, he got a double and I got a single. We saw the size of the burger was minuscule. He got a double cheeseburger and I got a single cheeseburger. We noticed immediately the size of the burger was ridiculous and he did not get a double. After questioning the girl that brought it to our table she was confused and clueless. I asked for the manager who came to the table and explained to us that his burger was a double that the beef is just squished together! We said that's ridiculous and she made no attempt to make us happy or reconcile the problem at all. Both burgers were extremely overdone, dry, and there were hardly any onions on it. After ordering two shakes, two fries, and both burgers the tab was $27. The meal was disgusting. We really should have demanded our money back and left. This was the worst Culver's experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this place at all. The butter burgers in the Midwest are, plump, juicy, much much larger and totally delicious. They normally taste like a great greasy burger that's been cooked on a grill the old fashion way. The fries were cold, but I do have to say the shakes were both very good. Overall an extremely disappointing experience. We brought two people with us and it was their first time eating at culvers. It was embarrassing and they didn't like their chicken sandwiches either. The management better straighten out the situation, or the place will go under, believe me this is not up to Culver's standards. read more

Went up and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese curds. Sandwich was good but the cheese curds seemed off. A tad cold and not very melted inside. On my yearly trip in Florida my friend asked me if I had ever been to Culver's to which I said no and he freaked out. So we drove probably 30 minutes to the closest one. It is your typical burger place, with a few added caveats such as cheese tots and a variety of shakes. I thought the prices were a little over the top and that the taste of the food was a little bland. More processed and less authentic, but evidently it is a fast food giant down in Florida so I guess you have to have easy to use products available. The staff was nothing but high schoolers but you could tell they were actually enthusiastic about their jobs and were very welcoming. Need to go back and try some more of their shake options. read more

I had somewhat of a unique experience here that contributed to my five star rating. So no pictures, just a story. While on a road trip with my 4-month-old (TERRIBLE idea, in retrospect) he needed a break from the car. I have a personal rule that anytime there's a Culver's on an exit, we stop there. Lo and behold, here's Culver's. I pull over and begin unloading my son who is, at this point, screaming at Velociraptor level decibel and rush him into the restroom for a change. On the way we passed a few smiling employees who welcomed us warmly, despite our hysterical party member. He continued to scream for the duration of the diaper change, which I was later told echoed throughout the entire restaurant. Yes, we ordered snacks which were phenomenal (as always) but what really struck me was the empathy and kindness every single employee showed as I struggled through this. I came out of the bathroom and was extremely embarrassed but was met with some comforting smiles and well-wishes on the rest of our journey. Most would roll their eyes and pray for me to leave, but I felt so welcomed there and that really made a huge difference. I will 10000000000% stop at this location again on my next trip down south. Reasonably priced and I Like their drive through, you order and then pull up to a parking spot with a number, great system, never had a Bad experience at this franchise. I'm glad they aren't closer to my house, I'd be there a couple times a week. I struggled trying to decide how many stars to give the place. As far as the food goes, it a solid 3-star location. But when it comes to the service, I would lean more towards two-stars. The saving grace for me was the cleanliness of the dining room and bathrooms, and this is considering how busy they were on a Sunday afternoon, of all days. For a fast-food joint - it really is a different experience. From how you wait at your table for the food to the overall quality - it was obvious to me this was simply a different type of place. I think their desserts are what will be the big draw for me moving forward as the custard they offer is supremely creamy and coming in all sorts of flavors and offered in all sorts of ways. In the end, it's another fast-food restaurant that will have to find a way to complete with well-established competitors in the area. Best of luck to them. read more

Tried this restaurant twice. The burgers aren't terrible but there not great either. There very bland in my opinion. First time there I thought maybe it was because it recently opened. A couple years later and nope still very bland basic burger. I think adding a little seasoning would not hurt. read more

Expensive and not that good. I got one of their famous butter burgers and it just tasted super greasy to me. I spent $14 on a burger meal and a tiny ice cream, that's too much for fast food in my opinion. The foods always amazing however whoever was taking my order in the drive thru on 7/22/23 at 2000 was rude and gave me a hard time on how and what I was ordering when I get the exact same thing every time and never ordered it different any other time. My first visit to Culver's - the young woman behind the counter would not look at me or speak except to repeat order, incorrectly. No thank you or anything at all. I also had to remind her to give me the third drink cup. It was clear she didn't want to be there. Food came quickly and was good - one order was chicken tenders when I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Most of the time we were eating, another young lady stood near the counter chatting with the staff in what can only be described as a "look at me voice" due to its volume. Then we ordered two desserts, which never came until we returned to the counter to inquire approx 15 min later, at which point they made the cone and cup quickly. That's the problem with the number system -it's pretty obvious when other people get their order way before your number. No apology, nothing. And the person who took the dessert order & also chatted intermittently with big mouth, appeared to be a manager if her clothing was anything to go by. read more

I ordered 3 burgers and a cheese curd which had to have been sitting under a heat lamp for at least ten minutes because everything was basically room temp. Food did not taste fresh. This wasn't the worst experience in the world of Culver's, but it sure wasn't anywhere near the best. Even with no line (dine-in) at 3pm, it took forever for the order to come out. And then of course it was wrong. I ordered my burger without cheese and needless to say it came out slathered in cheese. The second incarnation of the burger was clearly a rush job, as the first one the dude brought out was beautifully constructed. Also, what's up with the Cole slaw? Invariably it tastes soured or old, at Culver's, but this one smelt like rotted crotch on a steamy August day. Yuck. And $2.39 for this tiny thimble-sized container? What a joke. Worst customer service ever! I have taken my son here about once a week since they opened. I ordered our food as well as a strawberry shake for my son and a chocolate malt for myself. The server delivered our food and our shakes were no where to be found. I asked if the shakes would be coming separately. The server looked at my ticket and said oh let me grab those. He comes back a minute or two later with our shakes. My son's is perfect shake consistency, mine however is basically chocolate ice cream with a straw in it. There was no way to get it through the straw. I go up to flag down an employee and tell them the shake is too thick and ask if they can add milk to fix it. He says he will go ask and come back to me. He returns with my shake and a spoon and says sorry this is the way they come. I replied ok well that's not a shake if I need to eat it with a spoon and asked for a refund on the shake or for them to remake it. He tells me they can't refund it because I already drank some, in which I replied I tried to drink some, but it's so thick none would come through the straw. I asked at this point to see the manager. A few minutes later Alex, who seemed to be no older than 22 came by. He informed me as well that this is the way the come. I replied again with if I have to eat this with a spoon it's not a shake. In his most fake polite customer service voice he basically told me I was SOL, and I had to eat it with a spoon. He said they would not fix it or refund me. I packed up all the food we didn't get to eat yet and brought it up front to the counter. I asked Alex the shift manager for the head manager, he replied I'll get you the owner. He brings back to me Clark, a kid probably no older than 20. I said you're the owner? He replies he is the owner's son. I tell him the same story and he apologizes for them offering me a spoon, but said it's policy they can't refund me or remake the shake because I drank some. I told him the same thing I told Alex. The shake was basically chocolate ice cream in a cup so there is no way I could drink any of it. Clark told me that all he could do was give me some milk to mix it in the shake myself. Are you f'in kidding me? I left the food on the counter and told them I will just dispute the charge on my credit card and never come back again. You know you live in Brevard when the opening of a fast food restaurant looks like the premier screening of Casablanca, in terms of attendance and excitement. This place could have used more employee training before they opened. The restaurant wasn't even that busy and my single burger with fries took 20 minutes from counter to table. The food wasn't even warm. First, the burger. I wound up paying too much for it because their "Starts at $5 Menu" is deceptive and includes expensive items. Technically a Maserati can be on a "starts at $5 menu" if that menu also includes a key ring. The burger was OK. The meat was soft but not overly flavorful. I couldn't taste any butter on the bun despite it being a butterburger. The fries were identical to Zaxby's. My favorite item, though, was the fried cheese curds. These are mini fried cheese balls that taste like mozzarella sticks. They were awesome. With some improvements in quality, service and menu honesty, Culver's can be good. They also need to give customers more access to condiments, forks, etc. You're forced to individually order most of that stuff from your food runner. Does a fast food restaurant even need a food runner? How about just calling us up and letting us get the damn food? read more

Recently opened lines are constantly long both drive thru and inside. Sell mainly sandwiches and ice cream. I tried the mushroom swiss burger meat is thin crispy & well flavored. You can chose a drink or shake with meals, also fries, onion rings, or (cheese curds yum!). Employees are nice and deliver your order to your table #. I'd come back for sure. read more

The pretzel side is super good and the cheese taste fresh. I was not a huge fan of the burger I had last night. It honestly didn't taste very fresh or like it had much flavor.
