Ever since I've moved here, I've had car troubles after car tumbles. I can't keep up. So, we took it upon ourselves to get new windshield wipers for the car. Kevin, the Parts Expert, spent about an hour trying to figure out how to properly attach the windshield wiper to our car. After troubleshooting it together, we finally realized that the part we had was missing a piece, so we needed to purchase an additional adapter from AutoZone. I was genuinely grateful to have someone who knew what they were doing and was willing to take the time to help us figure it out. I know AutoZone is primarily a retail store and not a service center, so the fact that Kevin took that much time out of his day to help us was really appreciated. Thank you, Kevin, for going above and beyond and making what could have been a frustrating situation a lot easier!

My car broke down, and I had a mobile mechanic at my house working on my fuel pump, brakes, and rotors when we discovered that the parts I had purchased from another AutoZone location were incorrect. By this point, it was already around 9 PM, and we were scrambling to find the correct parts. We ended up going to the Kapolei location, and Tisha was amazing! She was helpful, patient, and took the time to make sure we were getting the correct parts. After an already stressful day dealing with a broken down car, transportation issues, and incorrect parts, having someone genuinely willing to help made such a difference. Thank you so much, Tisha, for helping turn an extremely frustrating situation around! Your customer service was greatly appreciated, especially that late in the evening. Because of this experience, Kapolei AutoZone will definitely be my preferred location moving forward.

Staff was pleasant and yard is somewhat easy to manuever. Not a bad option as salvage yards go...but if you k ow exactly what you looking for better to just call first before the drive.

I messaged the guy on FB and he replied with a cell number. I text'd the number and got a price for the part and an address of the yard. I called to confirm availability and the female who answered the phone sent me pictures by text message. I let them know I would be coming that afternoon, and when I got there, the part was already removed from the car. The yard looked pretty big with a lot of cars. Overall very good experience with this place. The woman I spoke to on the phone and the other ladies in the "office" trailer were very nice and friendly. Using a junk yard can be a hit or miss experience. You can call them to ask if they have what you are looking for. Keep in mind, used parts come in a wide array of conditions, so make sure you inspect the part before buying/paying.

I was messaging someone online and I guess he was the owner, but he said he had what I was looking for and quoted me $175. So I decided to go down and get it. Moment I got there I was greeted by a girl, and she showed me what was looking for. I examined the part and it was ok, so I was set on getting it. I asked her what the price was and she said $450!!! I mentioned I spoke to someone and they said a different price, and she persisted that they don't sell any door for $175. So I left. Messaged the owner and long story short they said I could buy the door for $175, and that was after I had left and went elsewhere for the part from another used parts store. I drove all the way from Honolulu just to get the part and they wasted my time. Don't ever go here.

I immediately called his shop at 8am and he was quick to answer; told me to bring my car in right away. I wasn't able to come til later in the afternoon, but he was still able to service me and inspect my car. He narrowed down the problem based on my description, did a quick and efficient inspection, then offered the solution. He showed me the problem, which turned out to be my tires, and made sure I understood the corrective action and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. Raf seems like an honest guy and not out for your money. I appreciate his help and will definitely come back!

My husband has used this shop for repairs on an older second car we recently bought. We normally do…read moreour own repairs however there are things that require equipment or space we don't have. They are located in industrial area of Kapolei. They always seem to be busy, yet they have got us in to look at our car to order parts in advance if needed. Once on calendar they have always finished in the time/day promised. They have always charged a reasonable price and not suggested work that was not needed. Sometimes in afternoon they have not answered phone so we dropped by. We recommend them as a good local shop.
