When I arrived to pick up my vehicle once they called me to say the repairs were done, I was amazed at how the team was able to fix both problems. Recommended by Progressive. I took the insurance card out of the car while it was being fixed so when i got the call the car was ready, I had my parents pick it up for me as I was at work. They didn't tell me I needed it so they could do a new safety check for the card as my bummer had to be replaced. Had my dad take it back the next day during the time they told us to come, only to be told the inspector wasn't in yet. So he went back later that day but didn't tell me I need the card they send in the mail, not a printed official copy off my app. I had to go back then the next day, which also failed again as their system had been have problems all week. Which is not their fault but why not mention that earlier as this is the third day and 4th attempt. They also tried to give the car back with oil covering the trunk so we had to ask them to clean that. The logo for my car is also off centered. The service is ok but just overall cannot recommend. read more

My wife got into an accident with her 2025 vehicle, so progressive want us to take the car to this shop for estimate, they setup an appointment so my wife just followed their instruction and took the car there. After the service was done and my wife was charged $25 for safety check. But my wife felt weird but she went ahead and paid it anyway, then she contacted the progressive rep after, and was told its her fault for not catching the mistake there. Only after that she told me what happened, of course then i have to get involved, I was upset that progressive try to blame my wife when they are the one who made the appointment, also upset with this auto body shop for not verifying what they needed to do on an vehicle, which is an estimate and not safety inspection! I do not know why how and why the guy who did the inpection did not catch and felt weird that this car is 2025 and does not need safety inspection for 2 year in Hawaii! All these miscommunication and mistakes are ridiculous and should be avoidable! I had to made a few complaints to progressive and they reimbursed me. read more

Had a door repaired in 2019 and returned to get the door repaired again due to recent self-inflicted damage. Reception was immediately attentive, took notes as I described my situation, verified that I was a returning customer and then consulted a repair manager. He took a look at the door, made an initial assessment and said he would try. I waited for just 15 minutes and the door was fixed using parts and clips available in-house and some "heating" of the door metal. No charge. I'm extremely grateful, continue to recommend Global Auto Repair and appreciate their professionalism and efficiency. There is also a Progressive insurance Rep on-site too. read more

Jenny was awesome the moment she contacted me to schedule repairs to the pick up after completion. First time at this place and she greeted me and handed me paperwork for my repairs. On top of this excellent service, the job that was done was perfect. Upon handling my vehicle to me, I inspected every detail to make sure the job was actually done. These guys do great work. Like with anywhere else, I advise you to communicate with them, evaluate the work, and let them know if something is not done to your satisfaction. They clearly take pride in their work and will make sure the work is done right. A couple of years back, I had Global fix the front end of my car after an unfortunate incident in a parking garage involving a careless driver. The repair was initiated through the other driver's insurance company. Their schedule was a little backlogged but not terribly so as I was able to get my appointment a couple of weeks later. Drop off and repairs went according to schedule, and I was able to get a ride from Enterprise to go pick up my rental car. A few days later I was able to pick up my car, and the body work looked great. There were a few rough edges on the paint, but at the time I was just anxious to get my car back so I figured, eh, good 'nuff. This was all very easy and smooth. Fast forward a year and I noticed that those rough edges were starting to get rougher with little bits of paint chipping off. I attempted to contact Global to see about warranty work, but I couldn't get a hold of anyone right away and forgot about it. Another year go by and those rougher edges were getting even worse, and I decided this really needs fixing so I attempted to contact them again. This time, I was able to get someone on the phone right away, and after I explained the situation and asked about their warranty, they told me to come in whenever I was able to so the manager can take a look. So I went in two days later, and one of the mangers took a quick look at the car, and apologized for the sloppy work. He told me I could leave the car with them and will have it back to me in 1-2 days. Two days later, I went to pick up my car, and Global had done a great job in cleaning up the edges- looks great and can barely tell that there were any repairs done. All very pleasant interactions along the way, and it was really nice to have someone take ownership and fix the problem. The best things would be for the work to be done perfectly in the first place, but to err is human. I still give them 5 stars because they acknowledged and took ownership of the faults in their work and fixed it. And of course, as an auto body shop, their work is constantly on display for everyone to see, and it's clear that they take pride in their work. read more

Located on sand island access road (on the right mauka bound right after Napa) This shop has been around for along time and I have seen alot of their excellent work so when it came time to get some work done on my car Global was my first choice. My car was taken in quickly and repairs were done professionally and done right. Their shop is super clean and everybody here seemed happy and very dilligent in their duties. My bill had a few discrepancies but that was prob me not comprehending the paperwork between the shop and insurance company. The staff was very cool and took the time to answer any questions I had. Someone accidentally backed into my brand new car and left a small scratch on my front bumper. They suggested this auto shop, so that's where I went. The process was SO quick and so smooth! I had a scratch from my neighbors kids that they buffed out for me too, which was the best surprise. Hopefully I will not need much auto body repairs but if I do, I would def come back here. Been going to these guys for the last two accidents. This recent accident I had I went to them to replace a rear bumper. Everyone else is cool except the manager. He was being a Prick. When they were the ones who did a bad paint job on the bumper with the paint runs and all these small issues with the paint job when I first got it back initially. They never like repaint the bumper there's a part where they pulled the tape off and the paint peeled off. They didn't want to fix it. Like I said customer service in the office is cool. But the manager is fkn pissy all the time. Never again I coming to this place. I never even paint the bumper and he giving me hard time. Lose money. My insurance brought me to Global Auto Repair and I highly recommend - after an accident, I brought my Audi Q5 and the customer service has been nothing short of professional, timely and communicative. I am looking forward to picking up my vehicle this week (it only took a week and a half the repairs on my luxury vehicle). They did take a few weeks for me to be scheduled and bring in my vehicle, but this is only because this pandemic has made getting parts extremely difficult + taking a long time to receive. This place takes forever to have their parts shipped to them. I needed a bumper, paid $ to insurance to get it done. Guess what. I had to pay $$ out of pocket to have a rental car for 3 months. My car was silver, an easy color, not custom. They took forever to put my parts on also.. they never wanted to answer my call because I called almost every day to ask about the status of my car. Hawaii is expensive & I sure do not want to pay $115 every day to rent a sucky car. On top of all of this, they didn't even put my license plates back on for me Never again, I will never use this place. And I definitely DO NOT recommend it. I'm glad I moved out of Hawaii. read more

Worse communication I've ever dealt with I got no call about when my parts might be coming in so I could schedule a rental, no call to let me know more damage were found and my car had to be held longer, didn't send my insurance the supplement either to extend the rental since the car had to be held longer so the rental was terminated so now I have no transportation because global auto couldn't do their job. read more

When it comes to auto body shops, I'm very very picky. I've done body work before and trust me it ain't easy, but when it's done right you feel a sense of pride. Global was recommend to me and they're only 2 buildings away from my job. I worked with Tracy and she is awesome. She has kept me in the loop with every step of the process and when she called me to let me know my truck is ready, I excited and nervous. Got to the shop and she brought my truck to the front of the shop, as I walked on the side that had the damages.... I was very very pleased with the outcome. I brought my car into global auto repair, and I get it when someone has an accident the work and the job they do is for only that part that was reported. But it just comes down to taking pride in the work you do. I had a busted headlight and fender and they repaired the bumper but I know when you do work on a bumper you water sand it down and if you are going to do that then do the whole bumper instead of only doing half then spraying only half and only repairing that half. Because it shows you either take your job to seriously or you like to do things half ass. So if you have a friend or know a good shop who actually takes pride in their work I would suggest to go there and not here. Terrible experience. This is where our insurance recommended but I would never go back. They scratched our windows and since I couldn't "prove" they did it I now have multiple scratches on my side and back windows. The paint job they did was thick in between the panels and bubbling. When I wanted to talk to someone about their work a man came out and grumbled bring it up with your insurance and walked off. He was incredibly rude to me. I had to flag him down again since my car was dead. He said "did you try to start it?". Obviously. Poor work and awful customer service. read more

Took my car to Global since its one of the shops that my insurance partners with. Service is okay but the only issue I had was after repainting my bumper they didnt put the parts back on correctly so there was a bit of wait when I came to pick up my car as they had to correct it. When I got into my car I notice some scratch marks thats wasnt there when I took it in because I made sure to polish the interior/exterior before taking it in. What a nightmare. I was hit and my insurance recommended this shop. It took them a month to fix my car. Each week the date was pushed back and back. They never kept in contact with me. It was so bad my adjuster said please contact the shop directly because I was getting more and more upset. I have five kids and having no car for a month was not ok. My car was towed to the shop and two weeks went by before they even asked for my lug nut key. I was hit directly on my front passenger tire. So why did it take two weeks to ask for the key? In my opinion should have been immediately to even start an estimate on repairs along with my whole driver side door. Took forever to get the parts needed from Honda. Then was told Honda lost the part and they needed to request another one. Oh and too add I got my car back with mud in my middle console along with a foam seal. Who knows what the seal was for. My car damage was on the outside. Brought it up to my insurance and global is denying it was from them. My car was just cleaned from top to bottom except my windows and back passenger door. My 13 year old detailed it for me since I was unable due to my accident. I was completely blown away with their service and the audacity to deny mud in my car. Never would I recommend this shop. Chantel and the crew are very pleasant to work with. Came in and brought my van for repair and they were very attentive and explained thoroughly what exactly was needed to get the repair done. They didn't rush! They inspected all the necessary nooks and crannies of the damage. Took a ton of pictures and showed and did all the leg work with the insurance company. My insurance company (Allstate) sent me to Global Auto Repair in late 2020 to fix the front end damage damage to my car after an accident. Some front end body work was done as well as some alignment and front axel work (I think -I don't know jack about cars and I'm not looking for the receipt just to write this review. As a result, they rotated my tires out as well. I just want to say that everything looked great when it was finished and everyone was really nice so customer service was certainly present. I wish I could up the star rating considering this but I'm sure you will understand why I can't do that. The problem came when I took my car in for it's safety check (it was a little late but yes, the previous inspection was before Global Auto Repair fixed my car). My rear driver side tire still looked great (thick tread) except for a narrow strip that looked like it had been chewed on (chunks missing). Needless to say, my car didn't pass so I immediately drove to have the tire replaced. I thought it was odd that only one tire had worn down so badly and in only one concentrated strip. The people replacing my tires thought the same and decided to take a second look. It turns out that when GAR rotated my tires; they did not balance my rear driver's side wheel causing it to wear unevenly and costing me that tire. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN VERY DANGEROUS, however I suppose I was lucky in that I RE-injured a damaged disc in my lower back and could not drive the car since March of this year. It is now November and I am only updating the tags because I recently received an epidural. Still, imagine going through all of that to only get into a dangerous accident. NOT ACCEPTABLE. DO BETTER. P.S. will try to get the image of the tire from the safety inspection station when I go back. It's Black Friday today so I'm not going anywhere. read more
