The problem lies in having to fix the same thing's multiple times. 3 radiators, 2 water pumps , 2 alternators, 4 different coolant reserves for starts. It's just ridiculous too have to pay for repairs to the same component over and over. So yes while he worked with me (new owner) it also cost me I. The end. Always an excuse of why the warranty didn't cover it. I have to agree with the poster below. Mike was wonderful and fair. The service I received from roger does not compare at all. I politely asked her if I'm able to take them off when need be, she got all super defensive about it and told me that I stripped them. Lol.....we exchanged words and then asked if I'm not able to get my lug nuts off will they take em off for me. Tricia and the mechanic Bill said once I leave the parking lot I'm on my own. Tricia is the worse manager I've ever seen in the history of an auto shop. Who calls their customer names? She called me a dumbass and so on, in exchange she got an ear full from me as well. Even the other customers said I wasn't in the wrong and AutoMax broke their engine by doing some work and not putting any oil in it. AutoMax is has the worse customer service ever...if anyone needs work done I recommend Vidal Auto Services across the street from them. I took my truck right across to Vidal's, they looked at the lug nuts and said they are pretty much stripped. They said if they were the ones who stripped the lug nuts while taking them off they would of replaced them or been honest with me about it.

An auto repair shop recommended Auto Max for exhaust problems, so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. There was no wait and my Honda was immediately inspected by a mechanic. He showed me what was causing the problem and gave me a quote. He didn't use any salesman tactics on me or pressure me into a decision. Based on my few minutes of Google research, I thought the quote was fairly reasonable. Within the hour, my car was back into its old self and not making farting noises. While I sat in their waiting room, I watched the front desk person interact with customers and I noticed they were friendly and did not use dirty sales tactics. If you got car issues, you'll be in good hands at Auto Max.

I'm not…read morea big car guy, but know enough to be dangerous and make my own repairs after copious amounts of YouTube watching. They always do a good job of explaining things to me, without making me feel like an idiot, and don't try to trick me into unnecessary services. The latest example was when my car wouldn't start in the driveway. I had T&T tow it to their garage and perform a 1.5 days testing it out. They ran several tests and plugged in the computer scanner, without finding any issues. The service tech, George I believe, insisted on keeping it overnight to see if trying to start the car in the morning made a difference. There wasn't anything he could determine and the car started just fine for him (of course) and has been running smoothly for me the past couple of days. He also advised me to hold off on some non-critical repairs I had scheduled for a couple of weeks, to see if this non-starting issue came back. I really appreciate that, because if the starting issue comes back and is serious, I would be disappointed if I had paid for a couple of control arms to be replaced... That's what I appreciate about T&T, they're super honest and have given me good repairs that don't break the bank (no unnecessary fluff). I brought my car in because it was making a noise while driving. They had it in their possession for three full days and drove it enough to use up a half a tank of gas. I brought it in full and when I got it back, it was half empty. They said they couldn't find out what the problem was. I ended up taking it to the dealer, and the dealer said that the brakes were metal on metal at this point. I contacted parents and they admitted to me they didn't check the back brakes. I ended up having to get my rotors replaced as well. I don't know if the fact that they drove my car with bad brakes extensively damaged the rotors. my car only has 65,000 miles on it. I just don't think there was any excuse for them not figuring out it was the brakes within one day. Definitely shouldn't take three days and many many miles of driving it to try to "listen for the noise" themselves even though I played audios of what it sounded like for them..

From now on I'm checking here first for used car parts, before anywhere else. It's right next to the U-Pull-R parts off of HWY 65; the buildings are acually connected, but AAA pulls the parts for you and the prices are not much more and come with a warranty.
