This is a lovely spot to have a coffee and a pastry in the sun ( or inside ) We had a new puppy with us yesterday and today; outside rewarding her with treats for sitting and enjoying the coffee (our treat) was the order of the day for us. They are busy with take out for people coming to and from BART or people parking briefly out front to collect their coffees or breakfasts.

Breakfast bagel sandwich & chai latte

I've been treating myself to breakfast sandwiches these past few months sometimes. Cup Cafe in SF was one of the first ones I tried. Wish the bagel was a little more toasted, but loved the melted cheese. Chai latte was fine. The guy running the shop was very nice and noticeably super careful. The shop is very close to Glen Park BART so very convenient if you want to grab a quick breakfast on the way to work.

This coffee spot is top notch! A+ I got the The Embarcadero sandwich - Turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato with a slammin pesto aioli on a nice fresh Ciabatta. Definitely bangin! She got tomato, cucumber & cream cheese on an everything bagel. We were both delighted. Ice coffees were killer & the couple running the place were super sweet. They received a large order right before ours & they gave us each a flan for the wait, which wasn't even that long. Stoked to have this spot in the neighborhood & cant wait to come back & support. These guys rule!

Another five stars coffee place. Like always How would that be! Let's try! It's on south SF somewhere looks like laundromat Had to park one block away. The coffee was cheap I think. I tried the Iced coffee it was very sour and tasted like Italian vibe ish. Somewhat blue bottle ish. Cold brew was not bitter or a little plain but strong. I liked that. There were a lot of coffee shops down the streets. Is this one particularly surviving for some reson? I want to try their speciality next time. Perhaps some lattee

Quick take: Cutest little cafe This is one of the cutest little cafes. The couple who works here are the friendliest people. Greeted by the most hospitable smiles. I ordered a vanilla latte, plain bagel with cream cheese, and a Sunset sandwich to go. There are 3 window seat tables but it is currently occupied. I see a guy playing the guitar outside. Great Saturday morning vibes. The service here is great. I will definitely be back. :) Super close to the BART station.

Such a cute little cafe run by a friendly couple. We recently moved into this area and I decided to give this place a try for my lunch. I went around noon and it was pretty quiet around that time. I was greeted very pleasantly by the owner. I ordered a latte and the sunset sandwich. He immediately made a latte for me and handed it over so I can enjoy it while I wait for my sandwich. It was amazing to see the couple work so diligently and with such enthusiasm. The latte was just perfect and I loved the sandwich. I think I found my lunch spot in this town! Amazing place! Also, the sandwich is so huge for such a reasonable price which was such a pleasant surprise in the otherwise expensive bay area!

Cup cafe is where you should be going to support s local business. The owners are in there pretty much every day working their butts off to run the cafe. Coffee is good and they have the same lemon scones as Peet's, which I love. Previously I had thought that there were no outlets, but there actually are along the walls!! Only downside is the fact that it can get hot in there, but it doesn't stop me from doing work here frequently. If you need to stop for coffee on your way to bart and this isn't your place, you're doing it wrong!

    Soy latte day.

Re: NO. 19 (corned beef) & Potato Salad…read more Wow. Great sandwich!!! I've been looking for a place in town that delivers the same type of meals I'd find in Katz's (nyc), and Wise Sons is good!!! The bread was on point, not soggy at all even though this particular sandwich comes with coleslaw inside (I loved the sweetness of the slaw with the Russian dressing). The corned beef was spectacular. And I also liked their potato salad very much. You can bet I'll be ordering again from this place.

Weirdly, I often have egg-salad sandwiches on my mind, even though I know they can be gross. I've had plenty of egg-salad disasters, sandwich and otherwise, and I'm normally a very gun-shy person, but if a place has egg salad on its menu, I'll probably order it. Wise Sons always has egg salad on its menu. The problem is that it didn't have any egg salad on hand the first two times I came here.* Whatever I had instead, both times (and I had something different each time) was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried the latkes yet. I guess I'm not a very wise son. The place is old school and feels perfect inside. It won't transport you magically to the past like many killer authentic interiors will, but it's very easy to imagine what the inside of this store looked like in 1941 or whenever. There was never more than one other person dining in each time I came. Maybe it's because I came so late in the day? More people would make it feel like a convivial breakfast destination. Empty, it feels like a good place with good food. Yes, it's overpriced, especially with all the delicious food you can get for cheaper within a few doors of this business on 24th Street in the Mission. But Wise Sons. It's a thing, a thing I'm glad I got wise to. *Did they sell out? Just didn't bother to make it? Who orders egg salad in the 2020s, anyway?

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. I had really high expectations for the bagels here given all the hype on social media, especially being a New Yorker looking for something just as good as home. Boichik doesn't skimp on the cream cheese - it was a very generous amount! However, I agree with some of the other reviews, the bagel itself was hard. The bagel was a bit flat and the texture wasn't as fluffy as I was expecting. Overall, I think I'd stop in again if I were in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back again.

I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding. You'll end up with an interesting dish thanks to all the different bagel varieties mixed together--but that's part of the fun!
