    Chicken pesto pannini

I do not drink coffee, but I do love a good breakfast sandwich and Cafeto Coffee Shop makes great breakfast sandwiches and paninis. They have seats right in front that always seem to catch a sunny day, so it's a nice place to sit and have a coffee/tea or bite to eat. My boyfriend likes ordering the pastrami panini and then adding an egg to it. I either go the breakfast croissant route or skip right onto the chicken pesto panini, both are good and just depends on the mood I'm in. I do like their iced tea, which comes unsweetened and gives for a little perk in the morning. The people here are really nice and accommodate our little additions.

The staff are so kind and the breakfast croissant was beyond yummy. So yummy I didn't have time to take a picture. I had a latte yesterday and their original drip today and both are the real deal. Strong and bold. Just right. Do yourself a favor and try this unassuming little coffee shop.

** The following review reflects my experience at this shop prior to the shelter-in-place order currently in effect. ** This is exactly the type of tiny, independent coffee spot that worries me considerably during the dark days of the COVID-19 shutdown. I came in here by happenstance as I was taking the long walk from Crocker-Amazon to SoMa. Smack dab in the middle of my journey, I saw their signage out of the corner of my eye just as I was crossing Mission. I crept up on it shielding myself from the disappointment I would've had if it turned out to be closed. Instead it was open and welcoming with a fine $3.95 Cafe au Lait (photo: https://bit.ly/2wvjKpq). I really hope it survives as the local community really needs a place like this and frankly so do I. COFFEE - 4 stars...smooth brew and satisfying AMBIANCE - 4 stars...cute spot, quite the local hangout SERVICE - 4.5 stars...very cordial here TOTAL - 4 stars...stop by when they reopen RELATED - Need a list of coffee spots in SF? If you're looking for some delicious locally/family-made drinks then search no further than Cafeto. The shop is small and adorable, but what it lacks in size it absolutely makes up for with its drinks (and food!). Try the Nutella frappe on a hot day, or a delicious hot cocoa for those chilly winter mornings. Either of those coupled up with a scone and you've got yourself a great experience!

Finally! A coffee joint that is awake earlier than I am and in close proximity!! I strolled in at around 7am and Cafeto was already open with many guests inside. The friendly people behind the bar were smiley with a hint of energy that made me excited to try everything on their menu. I finally decided on a small red eye (perfect morning size) and a breakfast bagel on wheat, which included eggs, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and onion. Soooo delicious! The bagel was toasted to perfection and the ingredients inside were sliced well enough that it didn't explode in my hands. I enjoyed my breakfast outside on the seating provided. And as I sat peacefully smiling at my bagel, I was picturing when my next visit will be.

Reasonably priced cute little cafe tucked away off of busy mission st. Parking can be a little difficult here but if you can snag a spot this place is pretty cool. I got a basic breakfast bagel with an iced latte. Came out quick and the bagel was fresh. Definitely coming back.

Cute little spot in the neighborhood. Came here on a Friday morning around 10am and there was only one other person in the shop. The seating is very limited, but they also have outdoor seating along the sidewalk. I ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich. The cappuccino was nice and dry and the coffee was rich without being bitter. I need to go back and try the Mexican Mocha next time. The breakfast sandwich was alright, but I'm not sure I would order again. I ordered ham and cheese on a jalapeno bagel. But instead I received just ham on a sesame bagel. The bagel looked really great, but had a weird taste to it. I took it apart and I believe it was the tomatoes. They had a earthy, almost dirt taste to it. I would order just a bagel but prob not the sandwich.

Walked through my ex's grandparent's neighborhood. It's been awhile. Looking for a coffee shop near my school site visit. This is a cute little spot.

They have an extensive drink menu that includes a Mexican Mocha, but I'm really a fan of their house blend!

It was super hot in here so I think they need an AC. Service was fast and reliable and the lady was super nice and everything I couldn't eat granola bars cause I got my Root Canal done so I asked her to exchange it for more bananas and shit they did so that's a plus point for me. I will definitely come back here again and the service is really fast. Thanks for listening.

I think Cafe de Casa also used to make them, but I haven't been in a couple of years. The Brazilian Spot offers açaí bowls, baked goods, and juices on the menu, as well has a small, hot buffet-style section where I think you pay by weight. There's also shelves of imported, Brazilian grocery items on the left wall, which is pretty cool if you're looking for more specialized goods that aren't typically available in your regular grocery store. There's a handful of tables and chairs, but not a lot of seating otherwise. The pão de queijo was still warm in the bag when we picked them up. Their version was too salty and dense for my taste; the pão de queijo of my memories from that spot on Balboa Ave was bouncier and airier than The Brazilian Spot's (they also had fun flavors like guava). If I *really* get a hankering for pão de queijo again, I might come back, but otherwise, the search continues.

What restaurant staffs two people at a time on a weekend??? How are employees supposed to keep up with demand and be able to take breaks? It feels like the owners are money hungry and uncaring about staff health and happiness. My friend and I went to grab bowls before heading to the park today and it took an hour and 20 minutes to receive them. And that absolutely wasn't because of the employees, who were working themselves to the bone to keep up with demand. Customers and especially delivery drivers were getting increasingly rude and irritated with the employees as the wait times got longer and longer; the employees were as nice as possible as they responded to people demeaning them and drivers arguing with them. The owners need to get a grip and provide appropriate staffing or allow employees to pause delivery services when they're slammed. Just because people will keep buying your acai bowls even after a bad experience like this, doesn't make it right that you treat your employees so poorly. They deserve better!
