We just moved here: my wife went in here one day with the kids and had a wonderful experience with the staff(even got hooked up with a free bowl, which was a good call because they made customers out of us) and then their food truck was outside my office this past week, and it was cold and I was pretty lazy so I decided to try it. Tucked back behind Tide dry cleaners is Cupbop. I was met promptly with a warm smile from Juanita. She helped me with my order and quickly filled that order. Yes they do have a GF Choice. I ordered chicken on rice. It was good and very filling. My suggestion would be to add sprigs of cilantro to the order. The dish had an excellent variety of rice. The chicken moist and cooked just right. I had previously had cupbop in Rexburg Idaho and this was every bit as good. read more

A so-so experience. Sometimes they continue to help multiple people in the drive thru while you stand their waiting. I became a fan of Cupbop when I tried it for the first time in American Fork. That location is by far the best I have been to, and I've been to most of their locations. This one in Draper is probably the worst. I wish Cupbop was consistent in their offerings. I've been to locations that ONLY serve cabbage and lettuce mixed, I don't want lettuce, I only want cabbage, the AF location is the only one that offers brown rice. Overall, their food is cheap quality and probably overpriced, but their sauce is amazing. read more

Cupbop is typically really awesome with their customer service but this time I was really disappointed. Last week I went to the west valley round up specifically for Cupbop only after such a long work day. I waited and waited in line just to find out they were doing "cash only." It would have been really helpful to put up a sign or something. I wrote a comment on the fb page and a guy named Josh wrote me back to apologize and "make up for it" by having me come to the eagle mountain round up that night. I had asked for the address because the post for the day did not mention any eagle mountain round up. It has been several days and I still have not received a response with an address for a round up that was days ago. It was great that he wanted to help but I think it made the customer service even worse. read more

I visited a few weeks ago near closing time and the staff were awesome. I'm from LA and there's restaurants similar to this one. They offered me some potstickers as I decided what I wanted to try. I believe I had a combo bowl with a 10 spife level. It's spicy but not beyond my limits. Definitely will go back. Keep up the great service read more

This review is for the CupBop FOOD TRUCK as they have multiple locations. I have had the Combo, HotBop (pork) and B-bop and the B-bop (beef) is my favorite of the three, partly because of the sweet brown sauce they put on it. The entrees range from $7.50-$9 each and have rice, glass noodles and lettuce in addition to your meat of choice. You can have a spice level from 1 (mild) to 10 (very spicy). I like my spice level at about a 6 - gives it enough heat, without just being too spicy. I also like the Mandoo (potstickers), but you only get 3 for $2 extra, so sometimes I opt out. When I do get them, I have them put the sauces on first, then add the mandoo so they aren't covered and all the sauce is missing from the bowl. Some trucks are much faster than others - I have experienced wait times of anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes with this truck. Worth the short wait, but not the long in my opinion. The most recent truck I went to, they played the music really loud and I could barely here the person taking my order. I like that they have lids for the bowls and will bag them for you if you have multiple orders. I always tell people who ask me - CupBop is good, not my go-to, but I enjoy it. It's different from anything else I've had, which is partly why I enjoy it. read more

Staff was super friendly and offered good suggestions on spice level. Food was about what I would expect from a casual dining place, on par with the order from the assembly line and go find a place to sit joints that are so common. Price was probably a touch higher than would be justified but I think that comes from the over-priced food truck background. That being said it was tasty and its nice to have something that resembles Korean BBQ in a non sit down setting. I'll be back. read more

I've had cupbop at their food truck as well as in the restaurant. The combo cup is a favorite at our house. You wouldn't think mixing rice noodles meat and lettuce together would be good but it's surprisingly delicious. I think it's a little overpriced for fast food, but the uniqueness of the food is fun! read more

So I have to say that I'm comparing my review here from the cupbop food truck. I got the same thing as I got at the restaurant that's in Draper. Which was a combo cup with chicken. I was not impressed at the restaurant in Draper. I remember them using real chicken at the cupbop-food truck that I've had before and then I go to the restaurant and it looked and tasted like canned chicken. I was pretty much disgusted with the taste that I couldn't finish my food. I was really disappointed because I really enjoyed that same dish that I got at the food truck and was excited when they opened one a location in Draper that's pretty close to me! Kinda ruined my taste to go back there again. I'm not sure about the other dishes since that's the only one i tried. Not sure if they use different ingredients at their different locations/food trucks or if they changed what they use but the only thing is If your going to try this place, i wouldn't get the chicken. read more

Well, you probably can put all individual ingredients together and call it Korean food but the taste....OH NO! Can you get authentic Korean tastes shoved into a paper cup and served from a food truck? Heck yes. I like mine an 8 or 9 so that it makes me sweat a little bit. We love Korean food and understood that it wouldn't be authentic, but giving us a ton of rice, lots of lettuce, dry, flavorless meat with a ton of sauce is not good food no matter what it's trying to be. Used to be food truck. This Korean food is not the same anymore. The serving is less & dry meat, less veggies & more more rice. Hey cooks, make sure you check & taste the meat before you serve. Very impressed with management at this location. Before we left Brent stopped us to ask about our experience and feedback. We weren't thrilled with what we ordered especially for the price but Brent went out of his way to explain different bowls and flavors and went as far as allowing us to sample his personal favorite. He won us over with his concern for our experience. I would recommend his favorite bowl but I forgot the name of it... These guys want you to enjoy the food and your experience. I used to be a HUGE fan of CupBop and everything about them. I have enjoyed their food for years and have faithfully followed their trucks around, purchased multiple meals at every Utah football game, and have visited 3 of their permanent restaurants throughout the state. Recently my wife and I visited the Draper store and when we walked into the restaurant, we were both so surprised by how loud the music was. We have all been in restaurants that has music playing and some have it louder than others. This was not your traditional loud music. This required us, including the employees to shout over the music to place our orders. It was so loud that once we finally made it through ordering because of all of the shouting and repeating questions, we decided to eat outside as we wanted to enjoy each other's company. Soon after we arrived, three other families also arrived. All did the same thing. They went in, ordered, came outside, and then also complained about how loud the music was. It was like a freaking dance party/club. As we sat outside enjoying our meal and each other's company, several cars came through the drive through. Those taking the orders had to ask over and over for those in their cars to repeat the orders. This again, was due to how loud the music was in the restaurant. Everyone was getting very frustrated and were all complaining about the same thing. The other interesting and funny part of all of this...was the fact that the manager of this location was walking around with his iPhone headphones in jamming out to something else. As a loyal customer and food truck chaser, I thought I would reach out to these wonderful men and women and provide them some feedback. I was NOT out for anything other than trying to help their business move forward. I want to see them succeed. Plus my wife runs a business and I am a principal in a public school so we both know the importance of customer service and appreciate when feedback is provided. With that being said, I reached out to them and was blown away by their response. I was first told that people have different preferences in music and that what is loud for some, is not loud for others. First of all, I LOVE music and LOVE loud music. I am that guy that constantly has music blaring and always notice what is playing in the background at restaurants. This was not about preference or a complaint from someone who is no longer on point or in the hip crowd. This was a joke. Every customer there complained about the same thing and you can also see the other complaints on this site. I have been to this location 4 different times and this was the first time it was extreme. The next argument they had with me was trying to tell me that the manager was wearing the drive through headphones. Give me a break...I am not an idiot. Needless to say, I am guessing that whoever was responding to my feedback was NOT an owner and has no invested interested other than being assigned to respond to people's feedback. Again, none of the feedback was provided publicly until now. I tried to provide them feedback that would benefit their business and help them with continued success, and I was treated like I was a moron and was old and out of touch with modern times. If this is how customers are treated and continue to be treated, this location will soon be out of business. I am saddened and disappointed by how they treated a loyal customer and to be completely honest with you, I will not be back. I am not just referring to this location. Due to this poor customer service and the way I was treated as a consumer of their product, I will no longer be visiting any cupbop location, or visiting any food truck. They have lost my families business and it is my hope that they do not lose any one else's business and start to take people's feedback seriously. Greed will be the downfall of this company if they only focus on building more locations and standing behind their employees while treating their customers like trash. I love Cupbop. So glad a store opened near me so we don't have to chase trucks anymore! We eat here at least a couple times a month, and every member of my family has a personal favorite. The past couple times I have come in the staff has not been very professional. One had her headphones on as she took my order, and had to take them out to hear me. One was putting a plastic bag over his head and thought it was hilarious, and the other was just going from song to song on her personal playlist and blasting it over the entire restaurant.
