Super convenient location as it's close to work! Food was pretty good and would consider coming back because of it. The service was a bit slow and only one server (as it seemed) was serving food/cleaning up tables during lunch hour on a weekday. Service can be a bit more attentive (had to come to the front and let them know we were ready to order).

A random restaurant in a business center filled with just offices. We walked in not expecting much and were greeted by what appears to be the only employee there. The decor is a bit weird and dated. We were seated right away and placed our order a few minutes later. I ordered a salmon roll and the beef bibimbop and my hubby got the kimchi tofu soup. For $4.99 for a salmon roll it was a steal! Our entrees came with a side of pickled kim chi, cucumbers, bean sprouts and radish called ban chan. I always love pickled veggies bc they add such a satisfying crunch to your meal plus it's good for your gut health. My bibimbop was huge filled with rice, beef, onions, a fried egg and sesame seeds. My husband's soup was also flavorful and he ate his bowl clean. For less than $20 a person for a delicious and filling Korean lunch definitely worth it! The deduction is for the ambience but if I could give it 4 1/2 I would. With the check came a nice bite of dessert consisting of a bit of cake, ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate syrup. A great way to end the meal!

The food is amazing I got the beef bulgogi was absolutely delicious. The service was slow because we had a large amount of people. The ambiance was alright I will be coming back.

Sneakily good sushi from an unassuming place. Was craving sushi but didn't want to spend a bunch or drive very far and stumbled upon this place. Got 4 rolls, all decently sized, but great tasting (really love the Love roll and the Dragon). We both really liked that the rice was perfectly cooked (not over done and wasn't mashed heavily on like some other places) and rolled perfectly (not one piece fell apart after we got it home) and did not overwhelm the toppings. A very solid option for takeout sushi, we will be back to check out their Korean offerings.

Such a cute hole in the wall, very inviting and walls to divide tables so that you don't see other guests. However, the food was okay. I got the spicy seafood soup which was not spicy at all and lacked even regular seasonings. Beef bulgogi was alright and the sides were very simple.

We have eaten at HEA twice in the past couple of weeks. It's kind of off the beaten path, on Commerce Drive just north of 5300 South in a business park. Lots of parking spots in the evening. The sushi is fresh, large portions, and some very different types of rolls. Favorites include the Crunchy Honey Mustard Roll, the Berry Roll, and their "special" roll, the Dragon King. The inside of the restaurant is well lit, and each table is separated from the others by large partition screens. Definitely a new favorite sushi place.

Always consistent food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. The restaurant is in a weird office plaza and there is nothing else around but it's not a bad place. Soft tofu soup hits the spot every time!

One of my favorite restaurants, I've been going for years when it had a different name. It's always a joy to see the hostess and eat the food. Our go-to meals are the bibimbap and beef bulgogi - meat is always tender and juicy. The soon tofu soup is an always such a treat to have. It does get busy around dinner time and it can take awhile for the food to come out if there are a lot of people in the restaurant.

We started off with a hot tea, the honey citrus. It tastes lovely. Filling to the soul and sweet like a honey bee. She brought us a complimentary plate of pot stickers. They were nice and crispy but I didn't eat too many because I wanted to save room for all the other stuff I ordered. I ordered the soondubu with beef, an eel nigiri, and a fried chicken basket. They were all good. The soondubu had a flavor that made it taste very "innocent" for lack of a better word. I enjoyed it and would come back again next time I'm in town. Complimentary on the house was also a desert. She gave us some ice cream on top of a thin slice of cake with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. I was already full, but of course your stomach always has room for desert so I scarfed it down.

If you're looking for decent portion sizes at an affordable price (unheard of for Korean food!!!) then look no further. This restaurant, called Cafe Seoul now, is a great choice if you're new to Korean food. There is also VERY spacious parking. We got free potstickers while we were waiting for the food and also got a free tiny ice cream and bread dessert at the end (not pictured unfortunately). I got the seafood soon tofu which is not spicy if ordered as is. Can probably up the spice level if you ask. It was as good as I expected. I wasn't a big fan of some of the side dishes though. Something about the bean sprouts and the radish? tasted a bit off. Not sure if it's the vinegar or whatever was used to marinate it. I do not like kimchi and gave it away so I cannot comment on its authenticity and flavor. Overall, it was a good experience and will likely return one day...

This is my second time at Mensho, and I have to say that I'm still thoroughly impressed! The first…read moreramen I had was the GKO, which incorporates garlic into every aspect of it. It's a very unique, strong garlic flavor with a thick broth. However, in my second visit, I became acquainted with the Spicy Kani Miso ramen... And holy *smokes,* is that a delicious ramen. The broth is deliciously miso and umami, with a lowkey seafood flavor, as though they cooked the crab in the broth. It was topped with a serving of shredded snow crab and the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth chashu pork slice. I savored every bit of this bowl, and even drank all the broth!! The appetizers were good, the best bang for your buck being the spicy karaage--it has a good kick, crispy fry without being greasy, and unique spicy flavor. Everything else we tried (garlic edamame, takoyaki, and enoki chips) was good, but nothing special. Service was incredibly speedy and very friendly, and you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into the restaurant's design to make it feel like a genuine Japanese ramen shop with a modern twist. Do note that this restaurant is a bit pricy, but each bowl is thoughtfully crafted and the ingredients they use are the real deal. If you like ramen of a higher standard, especially when so many restaurants these days use generic ramen soup base with premade noodles and frozen appetizers, it's 100% worth the cost. I think my only complaint is that they boast about using locally-sourced ingredients, but nothing on their menu really sounds local (such as enoki, snow crab, wagyu beef, etc.). Also note that if you're driving, the nearest parking garage is often crowded, but the restaurant offers parking validation.

Very disappointed in tonight's service. Sat at the grill within 5 minutes of entering. Great! But…read morethe server never came around to get our drink order. A gentleman finally got up to go strike a match under someone's year end. The young female server comes over half grumpily with a slight wannabe smile, and takes our drink order. She brings most of the drinks fairly quickly. But doesn't even attempt to ask if we're ready to order and we've been there 25ish minutes waiting?! The grill across from us got sat after us and by the time she came back to see if we were ready to order, they were done with the show and eating. *InsertEyeRoll*. She took our orders, repeating them and went on her way and shortly returned with our soup and salad. A few more minutes go by just barely before our cook shows up. He gets asking about everyone's orders and meat preference. Awesome. He starts his show, as always... scrambled eggs and rice first right?! Unfortunately, out of 8 of us 7 ordered fried rice, one steamed. Server brought out steamed rice to the one, and cook dishes out 5 bowls of fried rice. Two of us question where our rice was. So they have to prep and cook in the kitchen. Like WTAF?! But whatever... Cook was good, but not overly funny. He didn't even use the funny oil peeing boy (IYKYK) which my 9yo old always gets excited about. Food was cooked just right IMO but server never came back to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. They don't have yum yum sauce it's something much runnier which was disappointing. After the cook was done, they were practically rushing us out, by picking up plates, offering boxes, and setting new clean dishwater near the grill. I'm glad that they are efficient, but where's my server? Where's my water & wine refill? For a Friday evening and NOT very busy, I was really bummed for how horrible our experience and service was. This is one of the best teppanyaki restaurants around. This server didn't do her job and our last 5 star experience turned to a 3 star and was underwhelming sadly.
