Dried out chicken, missing corn & chips..and extra dressing paid for.

Horrible, health/safety violations, inedible food, charged for items not received, among worst experiences EVER!! I would like to preface that this was our first time dining at CupBop, we love korean food/korean bbq, & had high hopes for adding a great quick service stop to our repertoire! Instead, our experience left me questioning the safety of the food we were served. We ordered a family 4pack, sauce & cabbage on the side-nope, sauce everywhere & found the cabbage. I even cited that my daughter is autistic-didn't matter(we eat family style, especially at a new establishment-middle daughter is autistic, she took one look at the sauce everywhere, cabbage she asked to be removed,& refused to eat-PERIOD). Included photos. Katsu on salad & in cup was SUPER dried out & rock hard(turned yellow), looks like day old(photos attached). I believe this would be a health violation/hazard(incorrect holding), I know I am too scared to eat it or serve it to my family. Makes me wonder about the overall health practices at this location!! Prior to ordering, we called to ask if kkokko chicken was white, dark, or mix, was told white...it is not(or it is white meat & is just THAT old/dried out-wouldnt be shocked either way at this point...another thing we paid for that is not being eaten). The bulgogi was served cold(not room temp, but cool/cold), which was an interesting choice! But still good-cannot go wrong with the classics!! Soooo, was this also held incorrectly?? Definitely wasnt fresh. The salad was missing corn & chips(it was just lettuce & a scoop of noodles). We also paid for extra dressing for the salad(only 50c, it is just the point & speaks to the overall standards), in the notes, i asked for both types-since we dont know what we like yet. Nope, one half filled cup of dressing. Another thing we paid for & didnt get to eat. Rice seemed to be from last week-was discolored and came in dry, hard clumps that felt like actual rocks, about 1" x 2.5" x 0.25" to 0.5"-could not separate-believe we would have broken teeth if attempted to eat it. Have NEVER been served such pure garbage in my life!! To add insult to injury, upon arrival we were told they did not have corn dogs, did not have kimchi fried rice, &no mandu sauce(so we received dry mandu-one appeared to have a bite taken-have photo)-there was no apology, no mention of a refund, when asked-they stated that they couldnt do that-lol...so I guess that is more we donated to cupbop for things we could not eat. No refund for those items we paid for & did not receive. Maybe they got our order confused & gave us the compost instead...only thing that could possibly make sense! I know my family was not fed!! On the positive side, the mandu were amazing & bulgogi was very good(despite being cold-I bet it would be AMAZING served hot!!)!! The sauces were interesting(when not soaking everything & in flavors we did not want), something for everyone from sweet to spicy & everything in between!! I am sure that they would be even better with edible food!! Most of the glass noodles were also very good(one order was "crunchy" & dried out like worms trapped in the sun on a sidewalk after a summer morning rain...&one order was dark like they were headed that way). I understand that we ordered 30min before close, however if you cannot serve safe and edible food after a certain time, maybe closing earlier is the way to go! CupBop definitely left alot to be desired upon first impression!

Found the place through Yelp. You order the protein and they put rice, noodles, cabbage, and sauce. I had the bulgogi. Very tasty and everything put into the bowl was very good. I also had mandoo which was a nice side dish.

Cupbop is Korean style food. I get the rock bop it has the tangy fried chicken and if your super hungry try the double meat and get it sloppy if you like lots of sauce!

It was really good except for the beef. It was very bland and the texture was mid. The server was good and the atmosphere was cool.

We've always liked Cupbop and are happy it's in Idaho Falls. The mandue (potstickers) just might be our very favorite thing there.

Original: My review for this place is not current. I had a…read morepretty bad experience here a few years back so we will never go again. WHAT HAPPENED: When they're busy, they don't have enough servers on. This was something we had already been warned about, and got to witness first hand. Also, without informing us, they charge for soda refills! Seems the server was padding the check, thanks to two teenagers with us, and they drink soda. I had a couple of beers that I expected to be charged for, but my other half's coffee refills?, mann come-on. The place is overly priced to begin with, the food was not fantastic. They were riding on their legacy name. Surviving by tourist seasons of the unsuspecting. I gave it two stars because the food wasn't bad. I can say that the experience was not worth the bill. I did see the prices before we ordered and did not hesitate. However, those prices raised my expectations. To top it all, the atmosphere is dark and cramped. Never again! It might seem petty to not give a second chance if you think that only the bill is the reason. The lack of transparency, price to quality, and shoddy service combined. I think there are equally if not better restaurants in Idaho Falls. It's not worth the price here. UPDATE: with a vengeance! Mitch and Justin at The SnakeBite showed me just how much things can change under new management/ownership. My first review stated that it was a couple of years ago, lol Mitch helped me sort out the timeline, and it was actually close to 6 years ago. Guess I'm a little out of the loop, because I was informed that 100Proof Hospitality bought the restaurant about 4 years ago, long after I had sworn the place off forever. I know some might not appreciate an old experience popping up like brand new in a review. I get that in hindsight, but these new owners didn't flinch, and they are savvy--I tell you that. They turned someone (me) who would've never returned, into their regular customer. To start, the two teens have grown, it was only the two of us, which didn't matter because they no longer charge for refills under the new ownership. We were hosted by..well, a young man who was a little less than personable. He wasn't bad, typical in fact, but after experiencing the management and our server--the rest of the team outshines him a bit. It was late lunch, so they were still busy, but had enough open seating for the two of us. Laney--our server, is the coolest lady to ever walk the planet. She was hustling, laughing, smiling and talking with everybody. Just magnificent ambiance. She handled my undecidedness in style, answering every single one of my questions with complete honesty. "So if I put pepperjack on this, will it ruin the flavor of the cheese sauce." Direct eye contact, slowly nodding with a cringing look, "yeahhh probably." Great pallet to boot cuz she was so right. The Blue SnakeBite Burger--mann that sauce!, is what "zesty blue" is all about! I also got a Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. I hope I remember this exactly, but it's basically a spinach and artichoke dippy sauce stuffed inside of two very large portobello crowns, a fantastic drizzle and roasted red peppers on top! I would eat those every meal for the rest of my life! My other half got the Haddock with Waffle Fries, added Coconut Shrimp and Salad. She was too busy eating to tell me what she thought lol--loved it all. We sat, had met the dazzling Laney( who can bring people back all herself) ordered, and--get this--I ordered through Laney, a beer from the bar. The bar shortly later poured the wrong beer (think person ordered wrong), which was the same draft that I ordered. So over to our table comes the smiling and booming bartender with the beer out stretched to me, "You want a free beer"--well, yeah. The kicker: Nobody knew yet, including management, we were the "2nd look" couple. SnakeBite and 100Proof Hospitality, unknowingly pulled off a mic drop. Prices slightly higher than chains, and worth every cent! We will be back. So should you!

If I was fishing all day on the Snake River, this place would absolutely HIT! (....do I fish? No…read more But I imagine if I did, SnakeBite would be peak post fishing day food!) if you're a fried pickle fan, you have to order these! I'm pretty sure they lightly sprinkled some ranch seasoning on them and now I'm refusing to eat them any other way! The other highlight was the skillet cookie, which we downed like a pack of hungry wolves! Warm, gooey and yet crispy with creamy vanilla ice cream! chefs kiss

April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.
