As someone who likes Korean BBQ, Cupbop offers a nice, quick and convenient way to eat KBBQ. Cupbop isn't exactly the most authentic Korean food, but what it offers is still pretty tasty, especially for it being a large chain. The noodles are good, albeit, over chopped. I couldn't get any long strand of noodles. The rice is not that great. I always get my bowl without sauce because every location I've been to DROWNS the bowls in sauce. I'm not a super saucy gal so I always hold off on it. I like the rock chicken; it has a nice crunch to it. The bulgogi is on the drier side, but I don't mind too much since it's thinly sliced. The ambiance is nice but the tables need to be cleaned more often. I typically get Cupbop Doordash to me. I don't recall it ever being a bad experience so that's a win in my book! read more

They are more worried about the door dash people and not even them are getting helped in a timely manner. I have been setting here for 20 mins now. First off, long time fan of Cupbop and their early days. The food is good, despite portion sizes sometimes being smaller than I remembered. My favorite is the cupbop with rock and then a random other meat. Their meals are a pretty good deal where you get the mandoo (fried dumplings) and a drink. The main reason for the 3-stars is that the service was pretty good other than my needing to go back to get the drink and mandoo they forgot to give me. What was actually rougher was (I'm guessing) the manager and the way she was talking to a junior co-worker. She also stopped me from getting my drink because she didn't think I paid for it. Maybe they are under a lot of stress. It was just more stress than I was expecting my lunch to be. I just wanted the order I paid for. (Double-checked my receipt.) I got it in the end but it didn't have to be that stressful. Not sure when I'll be back. Just treat people better, starting with the employees. read more

I am a huge fan of cupbop and I love how popular they have become. The food here is great just like other locations. The sauce levels are still inconsistent so a 7 to one staff is a 5 to another and vice versa. The biggest downside for this location was the staff on our visit was acting very unprofessional. They made a bunch of food and had it just sitting out rather than giving it to the customer. There were a few teenage looking staff and they were sitting on the counters where food is kept and prepared. Just felt very unclean and not a great look. read more

This location and cupbop in general have turned things around in the last couple of months. I feel like they're starting to expand their menu and do things like Korean Corndogs and even ramen bowls. If you haven't been to cupbop recently I recommend that you try them out again and I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the variety on their menu. read more

I've never had drive through Korean, I did not know what to expect. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was quickly prepared, even though I was behind 7 cars, I managed to get in the drive through line and leave in less than 10 minutes. The only complaint I have is that the person who took my order promised me extra spicy food that would make me regret my choices. It ended up being mildly spicy. Service was kind and the wait time was short (drive through) I could be wrong here but the food did not seem cooked fresh.... It's like it had been chillin for a while before served or maybe the meat comes to the restaurant frozen then it's prepped, because the chicken was tough. I walked in and no one was at the counter, then after looking at the menu for less than a minute he walks around the corner and says "oh you should've said something I didn't hear you come in" (Like its my fault he's not doing his job) He then has an impatient attitude with me to which I decide to leave. As you come in you are greeted by everyone in the store who works there, very welcoming. The atmosphere here is so laid back, the customer service is amazing. They are very helpful in answering any questions you may have. And believe me I had a lot of questions. Wanted my food to be amazing, and it turned out that way. I had the piggybop which was good. I tried the level 7.5 spicy which next time I'll go up to a 10, then ad the sweet sauce. Which will be perfect. My wife had the corn dog looking thing with cheese. She said it was really good. I've gotten the gf ugly bop a bunch and I get it with the spicy and sweet sauce, but just know the spicy sauce that's gluten free is very spicy so if you don't want something overly spicy that's gluten free I would say just get the sweet. The krunch bop had nice sauce but it comes with just rices no noodles. Overall good place the food is always delicious. read more

I love Cupbop. I've been coming to it since it was just a food truck. I don't plan on stopping my patronage, but y'all need to step up your game. I've now had food a couple times from this location where It was subpar. Especially tonight. A lot of stiff noodles in both of our bowls, not a lot of sauce, and neither of our containers were marked. I love really spicey and my husband doesn't... it took us some time to figure out who's was who's.... Also, the K Dog was lacking much of any sauce. Cupbop in general is the Panda Express of Korean food -- not a compliment -- but this is a new low. My daughter brought home K-Dawgs for dinner. It's HALF of a crappy Bar-S-type low quality hotdog with some goopy cheese, battered, fried, and drizzled with sauce. Thoroughly unappetizing and one of the worst things I've eaten in years. The absolute worst location. They mess up our order every single time. When I told them the order was wrong the lady (I'm guessing she's the owner) just said well you weren't charged for that and went as far as to tell me that "this is one scoop" of meat when I said my order was supposed to be extra meat and looked like it had 1.5 scoops instead of even the two scoops it should have had. We got one meal as a kids meal instead of an adult and her response was just that we were charged for a kids meal. What we ordered and what they rang up were either completely different or she just didn't want to admit to incompetence. Then when I packed up my family to just leave since she was being unhelpful, she came at me saying "I'm trying to help" even though all she had repeated before was saying that we event charged for that and acting like I don't know how much meat should be put on even though we order the same thing at various locations and only ever have this issue here. My parents are not on Yelp so I am making this review for them. My mom and dad went to the Cupbop in Saratoga springs on Friday evening. They ordered online for pickup . My dad ordered the beef and pork combination with noodles and rice plus a few pot stickers . My mom had the chicken and noodles. My dad was not impressed with the cold pot stickers . No sauce to go with them. Meat was limited . More noodles and rice than the meat. My moms cup had very few pieces of chicken and some type of mystery meat as well. More veggies were needed . They will not be going back . If you're going to advertise beef, chicken or pork with the cup, then maybe add more to the cup to get your money's worth . read more

Don't bother with the Saratoga Springs location. Cupbop is awesome - I've eaten at every other location and the trucks, and had them cater work lunches, and it's always been awesome. But I would skip the Saratoga location and take the time to drive to the American Fork or Draper location. The Saratoga location is still just starting to figure things out. The last few times we've been in the meal has been soooooo dry - and today the employee sat and argued when we asked to have more sauce put on, even when we offered that we'd pay extra just to have enough sauce to add some flavor and moisture. She insisted it would be too spicy but we ended up throwing most of it away because it was so hard to eat. Dry and tasteless. Definitely not up to par with any of the other locations in Utah - and as I said we've eaten at all of them. You'd be better off making some spaghetti noodles and putting a small amount of butter on them. Same difference in flavor and enjoyment to what you'd get at this location. But at least take a drive to one of the other locations until these guys figure it out. read more
