First time visitor. This ice cream shop is located in old town Glendora which has a cool, old-time, family feel vibe. The shop itself was very clean, well-organized and fully stocked. The ice cream related choices were plentiful as there are numerous flavors available for cones, ice cream cups, ice cream nachos, banana splits etc.. The young lady working behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly and when asked if this shop was associated with the Fossleman's Ice Shop in the city of Alhambra (there were numerous Fossleman's Pics hanging on the wall), the young g employee shared that this shop is owned by one of the grandson's of the Fossleman family. I ordered two scoops of ice cream in a cup. pineapple/ coconut and pistachio. I can honestly say that both flavors were DELICIOUS! Both flavors were rich and well-made and left me craving more.

    So many flavors

I couldn't believe it took me so long to try this gem!! Staff is friendly! Ice cream is so good and the place is super clean!

Over-priced single scoop and double scoop in waffle cone.

This review is for a single scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone and a 2 scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone. The dining area is clean with a few tables for indoor dining. Our total was a whopping 18.60 for 2 people. I thought it was a bit over price. We are regular Fosselman's customer in Alhambra and it's much more reasonable at that location. Minus 3 stars. Our typical price is 12.50 at Fosselman's in Alhambra. I'm only a visitor in the Glendora area.. so, no, we won't be coming back.

I'm glad I don't have to travel to Fossilmann's in Alhambra when this is much closer to me! A must get is coconut pineapple! The creamy coconut base is rich and smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness that makes every bite feel indulgent. Good amount of pineapples pieces in there. My next flavor is mint chocolate chip. The mint chip is grinded well so there's no chunk in them which I like.

So many good flavors but settled for the taro ice cream. Service was prompt. We also got the chocolate covered frozen banana ice cream. Gray way to add to our evening dinner. Clean store inside, with tables inside as well.

The ice cream here is incredibly creamy and delicious! I tried the Rocky Road and Espresso flavors, and they were amazing. This place has definitely become one of my favorite spots for ice cream!

Great ice cream unique flavors. Cons you can try any flavor before you buy. They were also out of all waffle cones. I tried the Ube flavor it was good in a cake cone. They also do banana splits, floats and shakes/malts.

When I bought the peach donut, I was expecting something like the strawberry donut where each piece would be coated well and crisp exterior when you bite. Unfortunately, the peaches fall apart and sort of 'slump' over and does not maintain a crisp fruit texture. While off-putting, the slices themselves are coated with something very pungent, I had a piece in one of my two donuts that felt like there was a sort of 'extract'-level ingredient that made it feel like it was taking away from the peach. As much as I love peaches, this one does not slap as hard as the strawberry. I give this a 5 just for the uniqueness of the donut casing and strawberries. (Also not a fan of the tiger tail, it is said to be the next best item here, but it just lacks flavor throughout the tail)

My five-star rating for this restaurant is not solely based on the complimentary items. The potato salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob were also excellent accompaniments. While the buns were fresh, I found the cornbread to be a little dry. The restaurant is clean, modern, and has vibrant colors when you enter. The customer service was friendly, professional, and efficient. I ordered the Pumpkin Pie Crepe and the Turkish Coffee to go along with it. There was a little bit of a wait, but I didn't mind since there was only one person working. The Pumpkin Pie Crepe tasted exactly like a pumpkin pie, as expected. However, it wasn't too sweet and had more of a real pumpkin flavor that pair very nicely with the pecans and caramel drizzle. The crepe was cooked perfectly and held together nicely with all the other ingredients. The portion size was large and could be shared between two people. It didn't exactly blow me away, but I appreciated the fact that it tasted like I was eating a pumpkin pie without the over sweetness. The Turkish Coffee was okay in my opinion, but it could be because I'm not used to it. Creamer and sugar packets are provided. The coffee alone was very bold and almost had a burnt taste, but not in a bad way; bringing out the flavor of the coffee beans more. I think if flavors of the coffee were offered then it would definitely be a favorite. My partner tried the frozen yogurt and she enjoyed it very much. The serving size was large as well, enough for two-three people. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. To my knowledge, no military nor first responder discount offered.

I had to go in and see what this place was about! First off, the man who works there is super friendly. As soon as I walked in, he immediately started showing me everything they had in the store. He told me he was Egyptian and also knew how to say "thank you" in many other languages and proceeded to tell me. He was very charming. Extra star for the super service! There were many varieties of beautiful cakes and cupcakes (vegan and regular), however I didn't need a whole cake, and I didn't see individual slices for sale, so I passed on those. The gentleman had such happy vibes and such pride in his baking that I had to pick up a few things. He said he made the creme brulee and cannoli, so I got those. I also picked up something called a Konafa with custard, as well as a package of baklava. I looked up Konafa to see what it was made of (shredded phyllo dough), and discovered it was something Egyptians ate during Ramadan. How fitting...Today is the first day of Ramadan so I will celebrate in spirit! =) The crème brulee was pretty good, the cannoli was great! I wasn't really a fan of the baklava (it was too hard for me personally) or konafa as both were really dry and tasteless. I am used to baklava being syrupy and sticky and flaky. I feel like I've had konafa before and the shredded phyllo was yellow color and on the crispy side, rather than soft and white. I guess it depends on the style of what country makes it. I was given extra containers of syrup for them, he said in case I wanted it more sweet, but it didn't really help. I'll have to come back and give the cakes a try since it's mainly a cake shop. I'd love to try their gluten free cakes for my son. I'm not vegan, but for those of you who are, this is an option for you!
