Cuppa Manna has been one of my favorite cafes since before they were Cuppa Manna. It's where I first had Bubble Tea (which I find delightful, but is an acquired taste for many). This new location is very cute and cozy in a different way from the downtown Summerville location. It doesn't have the antique feel of that location, but it has a clean cut semi modern cozy cabin feel with the beautiful wood tables and benches. It was pleasantly calm during the time we were there. As always the service is excellent. I ordered the Honey Blossom Latte (Lavender, Rose and Honey) which I found subtly floral (not perfume at all). And my friends had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Latte and the Charleston Pecan coffee (The signature coffee). The lattes came with milk foam art on the top (ai was especially impressed with the art on the top of the chocolate peanut butter later). And my favorite (besides the excellent coffee) was the option for have my coffee in a real mug!!!! read more

I like this cozy coffee shop. It has a nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks, snacks, and bakery items. The service is hit or miss for me. Sometimes my food and drinks come out quick, and sometimes there's a very long wait. I prefer places like this over Starbucks as it's not as crowded and chaotic. Though I like the coffee and atmosphere, some of the pastries are lackluster. They aren't as flavorful as I'd like. And the croissants aren't actual croissants. They're just a roll in a croissant shape. They're dense and spongy, not crisp and airy. Skip them and enjoy the coffee. read more

Thrilled to have Cuppa Manna near me now! I frequented the Summerville location when I could, but this location is so much more convenient now! The location is in the Carnes Crossroads area in Windmill Station. I love to get the bubble teas at Cuppa Manna. My favorite so far is the Java Chip blended with tapioca pearls. I keep telling myself I need to try other flavors, but I seem to always order my fave! I want to try the coffee and baked goods one morning soon. The place is nicely decorated, clean, and cozy. It is definitely a cute little spot to enjoy alone, with a friend, or even a group! There is a few tables outside that can be enjoyed as well! read more

We stopped into the Cuppa Manna at Carnes Crossroads. The coffeeshop is in a strip which has a couple other must stops (especially Smallcakes). This coffee shop has a lot of farmhouse decor and has quite a bit of seating. Honestly wasn't a big fan of how it looked inside, but this place really gets credit for the taste and flavor of the coffee / specialty drinks. Came through looking for some boba tea but couldn't pass up the desserts!! Great variety of pastries from macarons to flaky croissants. They serve some food items too and sell local tea + coffee beans. My friend got their gluten free avo toast - I snagged a bite and it tasted great, I think there's pesto under the avocado (?) it had a nice taste of garlic, basil, parmesan cheese...idk something made it zing! I love their options for the milk teas..it ranges with floral, sweet, espresso and options for boba and pearls. Mikayla was super helpful and even allowed us to sample the yogurt pearls which had a fun flavor to them. I'm a huge fan of jasmine so the green tea provided some great notes of the flower. You can have it iced or blended. The cinnamon roll had a nice flakiness to it and wasn't overly sweet. Would love to see reusable utensils here but I understand it can be tricky to keep up with silverware / washing. Located in a plaza area with offices and homes nearby, really nice community out there with beautiful walking trails. If I lived in the area would totally enjoy biking to these shops! The Barista seemed knowledgeable and was patient when it came to answering my questions. I ordered a latte with an extra shot of espresso, honestly I still felt like it lacked the espresso flavor that I love and was more like steamed milk with a hint of espresso. The drink was served nice and hot, and it was prepared fairly quickly. I think on my next visit I'll likely try a bakery item or hot tea and skip the espresso all together. read more

With the exception of a few tables being dirty the inside was clean and inviting - HOWEVER - for the life of me I do not understand why it took 20 mins to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese and ice tea. I had great service when I went in. Seems like a very relaxed place to be and would definitely be a place I would come to do school work and drink a coffee. They have a pretty large selection of beverages and they have bubble tea! I ordered the red velvet ice coffee and it was pretty good, but taste a little more watery than coffee like. So if you don't like a strong coffee taste you might like it. And their pastries and cookies don't think are made in house or from scratch. I got a cookie and it tasted like it cake from Costco or something. So that's my only down fall to them. read more

Saw some of my favorite staff from the original location on Main St. Now I don't know which one I like better. Guess I will have to take turns. I always loved Cuppa Manna in downtown Summerville but it was so out of my way, I rarely had the opportunity to enjoy it. So when we found out that Cuppa Manna had expanded to Carnes, hubby and I were STOKED! On it's face, it's just another charming coffee shop. The space has a very industrial aesthetic but they find a way to make it cozy and inviting anyway. The space is a lot larger than it looks from the outside and there is quite a lot of indoor seating and outdoor seating as well. But I dare you to drink their pecan coffee and tell me that your experience is anything but ordinary! Overall, their menu is great! Other than the aforementioned pecan coffee, they have daily brews, cold brew, iced coffee, lattes and the like, they even had a keto coffee that I believe had grassfed butter. Not my jam but if you're on the keto diet it's probably worth a taste. The baristas have always been kind and helpful with great suggestions when I'm on the fence between food or drink items. In the post-COVID world, the staff all wear masks and mask wearing is required unless eating and drinking. Cuppa Manna is such an amazing local coffee shop! AND I just discovered that they offer mobile ordering!!! I don't know know if there's an app but you can navigate to their website and select "order ahead" to expedite your pick up of coffee, Bubble tea (boba), food or retail items including Pecan Coffee grounds or beans, Charleston Tea Plantation Boxes, or Bees R Us Local Raw Honey. Saw this place and heard they had boba tea so we decided to try it. I'm going to be honest, I won't get the boba tea again but they had other things on the menu that interested me so I might be back. We moved into Carnes in May and we are so lucky to have Cuppa Manna at the top of our road. We have a little one so it's so nice to pop her in the stroller and head up for a bubble tea or meet a friend for a snack and a biscuit. The inside is a modern, yet nature industrial feel and from some of the things on the walls it seems to be owned by Christian people, which might explain the stellar service. So their drink concept is novel for this area, $4.95 bubble teas. I know it as boba tea that I believe is from Taiwan and surrounding areas in SE Asia. They don't quite rival the boba tea I've had from another place but the selection of flavors is more impressive and earned quite a few stars. The restaurant's design and ambience is very nice. The wall menu doesn't highlight their bubble teas so ask for the paper menu. I appreciate they allow you to sample pearls and jellies. I like you can redeem their free big (really good choc chip) cookie when you sign up with Clover.
