I love this little spot. Super cosy, always decorated for the season, the staff is friendly. And the coffee is tasty! Will always be a go-to for the area.

A lovely little coffee shop with chill vibes smackdab in the middle of downtown Summerville. I stopped in for a latte and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've had in many years. I even picked up a bag of their whole beans to take home that they roast right here locally. Highly recommend checking them out!!

This place is so cute! The pastries are amazing and I loved the matcha, iced lattes, and bubble teas that I have tried! The servers were so helpful in picking what i wanted and letting me know what flavors had changed. I love what they have done with the place. Its so updated and lots of greenery which makes it feel so relaxing inside. While it can be busy they are very fast paced and try to get you through quickly and it is definitely worth it to wait to get a great latte or baked good!

One of my favorite coffee places in Summerville! A great spot to sit and enjoy your drink of choice while relaxing or getting a little work done. Their seasonal drinks are a favorite of mine (the lavender lemonade is amazing) but a few staples like their bubble tea and their iced caramel latte with cold foam is what keeps bringing me back time after time. Grab a pepperoni roll or some avocado toast- you won't regret it!

Visitors on October 26th. Cute little coffee shop. It was decked out with Halloween decor. It was busy, unsure if it was unusually busy because the area had a Halloween event for kiddos. They offer a good variety of coffee which was nice. I had a cold brew w/toasted marshmallows which was good and a cinnamon roll which was kind of dense but flavorful. My husband had a cheese danish which he said was good. They had other pastries and breakfast sandwiches. If we're back in the area we'd try it again.

I love this place. It's my go to in downtown Charleston because it's consistent and it's open until 7. The staff are so friendly and I love my cortado! They have some outdoor seating but plenty of indoor seating with outlets. I spent time there studying and I will continue to come back here.

Cuppa Manna is a real fall vibe! Situated in beautiful downtown Summerville, they boast a wide variety of coffee and treats. The food options are full of comforting choices like ham, egg, and cheese croissants as well as avocado toast with pesto. They even sell their own brand of coffee beans which I'm excited to take home and try. We got to enjoy a relaxing morning eating breakfast outside and sipping our coffees. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the caramel pecan cold brew and my husband got their standard brew with cream and agave sweetener. I have to come back though so I can try more of the menu. From bubble tea to chai to coffee there's truly something for everyone!

I can not believe Ive been so close to this little gem and is just now trying it. Super cute cafe with the cute coffee delicacies and bakery items. I went for a meeting and the line wasn't as long. Service was great and they were patient with me as I pondered over which item to get. I got the spiced apple latte which was one of their holiday items and a croissant. The coffee was amazing! Not too sweet which I was worried about. This place is just a walk away and I'll be back again soon.

Quaint coffee shops do exist...in Summerville! Yay!

I got the Woodstock drip coffee (I let the barista pick based on my preference for low acidity coffee), the Turkey C sandwich, my son got the banana bread and a PSL, my daughter's got a chai and blueberry muffins. My kids loved their treats and drinks, admittedly they are an easy audience. I enjoyed my coffee, as hoped for it was smooth a law acid, despite drinking it black. The sandwich was absolutely outstanding. Bacon was thick and smoky, the roll had just the right "squish" and "chewiness" of a good hard roll, and it wasn't greasy or sloppy at all, which is exactly why I picked it. The Mediterranean salad was not quite what I expected, I thought it would involve black olives and feta cheese, but it had neither, and I appreciated that it was different and not too oily. The food prices feel a touch high but if you look at the quality of the food, and their use of premium ingredients, it is reasonable for what you get. Staff was friendly and good came out fast. There is a long table for bigger groups and small tables for up to four to sit. In general, Summerville has been mostly misses for me on food, but I like Coastal Coffee and would return if I was in the area and wanting a bite or a brew. J.Ja

What's better than a piping hot cup of fresh Joe, or... for those who defy the norm, iced coffee?…read more I can think of many things and being a former comedian, I'll refrain from stating. However, what tires my bones to the core is the inauthenticity of people that have taken over coffee culture; with their man-buns, little lap tops writing "the next great American novel," forearmed tattooed and blue haired activist that... Oh sorry, I got off topic a bit, shades of living in Austin TX. That said, I see the environment at Biggby set up to cater to those people, yet the new gen hippy takeover hasn't started. No, what I see from this dainty coffee bar are inviting pastel-colored walls, light toned wood chairs and tables, crayon inspired specials written on the windows and where ever along with their merch being pushed dead in front. It's an ok vibe in here and the people are simple, thus my whole rant about generation 3.14 isn't applicable here. As for the staff they're great and receptive of what you want to drink as well as giving suggestions. I got there when a lot of younger staff were working so I tried to spark up a conversation. Specifically, if she's tried Kopi Luwak (google it) and if she liked it. She had no idea what I was talking about so I switched to Taylor Swift, to which the conversation picked up. Concern for this generation resonated in my head, but hey at least we were talking, and she didn't ask to chat via snap chat! I kid... I kid. The staff here are very nice and they were playing 80s music (see how I dated myself?) which "I can name that song in three notes" and did. While I'm a medium roast coffee kind of guy and I like my coffee like the women I date; hot, sweet and blonde. I vary my selection by what I'm in the mood for, sometimes latte, sometimes hot or iced, sometimes mocha, you get the drift; and yes I'm talking about coffee (get your mind out of the gutter). But what I do appreciate is creativity in a beverage and a joint with the courage to put a creation on their menu. When I read the Butter bear latte stood out and I knew that was what I wanted. The butterscotch punched me in the mouth as a "you've never met someone like me before" love tap. The caramel snuck up from behind and smoothed out the experience while the coffee kept the band playing nice together. Scanning their menu, Biggby does commit to giving something different a real go and I applaud them for it. In summary, Biggby grinds their beans to order and this really enhances the quality of their coffee. Add to that they create an environment where one can feel safe while sitting inside or just stopping by with enthusiastic employees and it's a recipe for success. While I didn't sample their "edibles" (how's my parking?) they looked wonderful. To finish, the employees are great people, the ambiance is fun and the coffee is great. Stop by if you want something good to pick yourself up or rub elbows with a future leader of America.

I found Summerville Nutrition on Yelp. It wasn't too far away so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I've been to a couple places like this before and I wasn't all that impressed. This place, however, is different. I ordered the Brownie Batter Shake. Omg this thing was so good. It tasted like a regular milkshake, but of course, it's filled with nutrients such as protein. It's supposed to be a meal replacement. I finished the shake before I even got home. I had to run by the bank on the way but I wasn't out that long. I was surprised I drank it so fast. I ended up ordering one of their teas also. I got a Pink Flamingo Collagen Tea. It's supposed to be rainbow candy and cotton candy flavored. This drink was good, however I didn't finish it. It was very flavorful and sweet with a bit of tartness to it. It tasted good but I think it was a bit too much for me. The sign says grand opening but apparently they've been open a few months. They just haven't gotten a real sign yet. The inside is pretty plain. They could fit a few small tables in there. There's nowhere really to sit besides the bar by where you place your order. Overall, I think this place is worth trying. The shake was really good. The tea was good too. They could use more seating and a sign. But all together, I'd recommend.
