Every time I get a preroll(except 2-3 times a month) the employees say all they have is the 9"x12" envelopes and management only allows them 1 box of small 5"x7" envelopes per month and there's no one at the location with enough seniority to order 3 boxes a month like the employees all wish they could use small envelopes because it is so wasteful for a publically traded company to use the big ones. read more

I went over to Curaleaf Midtown PHX store tonight at 7 pm. I shop there 3 or 4 times per month. Most of the time it is a uneventful experience. I always order in advance online, so it's usually just in & out to pick up my order. The staff there is usually pleasant and friendly, except for the older guy with a beard. But tonight was a master class in "people who should not work in retail." A young guy or girl (I couldn't tell) attended me. He/She retrieved my order, placed it out on the counter and told me the price. My bag was on the counter which I opened and took out my cash. I started to put the two packs of weed into my bag and he/she abruptly told me that I couldn't place them in my bag until I paid. With an wide eye roll, I handed over my 80 bucks. He/She gave me my change and huffed off without a thank you. I always leave a few bucks tip when I shop, even though the entire time with the "budtender" is under 3 minutes. Tonight I left a penny on the counter. Perhaps it's time to start looking at Curaleaf's competition. There are many to choose from. read more

I placed an online order and was a dollar short and said I'd come back. The girl helping me accidentally the wrong items in my bag after we spoke. I came back within 30 minutes and a different girl helps me and pulls out the wrong items and I tell her I wanted what I ordered online. She refused to ring up the one I wanted and lied to me saying there were no more. I settled and got the one she forced me to get. I looked online just to see the ones that I ordered originally were still available. I went back in and this time a guy assisted me and was very nice. I explained the situation but it just sucks cuz no one cared to do anything about it and it wasted about 40 minutes of my time making me late for an event. I've thankfully stopped going to this location, so this is more of a summary review after a few experiences. This place has the worst security you could imagine. Rude, on top of being useless, they have that mall cop attitude toward everyone for no reason. I don't think they understand that people are paying hundreds of dollars and the least you could do is be nicer at the door. The other major issue is that you will likely be waiting in long lines with countless homeless people. It would be cool if the security or employees would keep them in check, but they honestly don't care enough. There are much better places to go in Phoenix, so let the homeless and Californians have this one I guess. read more

This is the Mecca of AZ dispensaries. It is right in the middle of Central Phoenix, and right next to a light rail stop. Everyone has heard of it. Everyone has seen it. But not everyone has been able to get in...until now. Sort of. With a recreational usage free-for-all, Curaleaf is there to find anything you want, but only if you're willing to pay for it with your time. I've been here in the morning, when I could make this a 10-minute trip. I felt like a kid in a candy store with over two dozen varieties of flower, and a world of vapes. But I have also been here in the afternoon, when the total wait is 45-60 minutes. And that's not even on a weekend! Yes, I get it, the game has changed and you're busy. I am sympathetic. But I've seen others figure it out, and make noteworthy improvements to mitigate the rush. When will you? Nevertheless--and this is controversial for sure--I believe everyone should have the experience of waiting in line too long to enjoy a dispensary. You'll see people of all classes persevering together for the sake of one common goal. Where else are you gonna witness that in this country? read more

UPDATE: I highly recommend (first of all be in a calm and rational headspace going into this, they're people too and mistakes are humanity's destiny) going in-person to talk to someone directly. I showed back up at the end of the day, posed a simple "IF it's true you have _ discount, THEN why does my receipt say $0 discounted?": the investigation shortly ensued! All in all, they handled the mix-up with exceptional service. Went in for some gummies. They were doing a BOGO so I bought two packages. What they failed to mentioned was that the manufactured date was about three months prior. Both gummy packs were stale, one tasted like they had been sitting out for days in open air. It was rough. Ate a few over a couple of days, and threw the rest out. Well, after trading with Curaleaf for several years, I was informed today that the store credit I have been accruing since January, has been given to someone else. I had $48 in store credit in the Midtown location, but they told me I couldn't have it because they gave it to another customer in their Youngtown store. They then refused to honor my credit, and told me I would have to go to Youngtown to claim it. I am done with Curaleaf. They are irresponsible and dishonest. A budtender at Curaleaf Midtown asked about my MS symptoms, looked up some research on Leafly in about two seconds, then swooped around the shop picking up items designed to mitigate the symptoms of my particular disease.
