Great Food!!!! It was such a welcoming atmosphere. The hostess was above and beyond wonderful. We failed in making a reservation, but she kept in touch with how long until a table. We tried the Brie Plate Escargot, Country Flatbread Pizza, Sausage pesto pasta. It was a light dinner for four of us, but we saved room for the frozen flight at the end of the meal. We ordered two flights for four people. It was so amazing. Best pistachio I've had. The lemon tasted fresh and the strawberry had berry pieces. No one rushed us out. It was a relaxing evening. Wasn't sure what to expect at this restaurant, fortunately it turned out to be a pleasant experience. My wife and I enjoyed a salad to start us off. For our dinner we shared an order of Wild Mushrooms and the Beef Short Ribs . Everything tasted spectacular. To top it off we had the Lava cake for dessert. It was also good. Our waitress was very pleasant. The atmosphere is very classy. The only downside I found is the price of the items for the amount of food that you get. Most notable about this place was their drinks, very delicious and sweet cocktails. The waitress did a good job with recommendations. She was very attentive and kind to us while explaining things. The food was also sooo good! When the chef brought us our meat dish she said the meat would be super tender which she was correct about, it's literally melt-in-your-mouth! We were lucky to snag reservation that someone must have canceled by joining the waitlist, so we redirected our plans and hustled to Curate. Started with the Whiskey Flight and a Butterscotch Martini that were both fantastic. Got some plates to share - had the goat cheese salad, the baked oysters, the short rib--melts in your dang mouth and sitting on top of amaaaaaazing mashed potatoes, the mushrooms that were great with everything and by themselves, the filet which was on this bed of rice that will blow your mind, French Onion soup, and then wrapped up with the gelato and sorbet which were very large, tasty portions. If you have one meal in Springfield, make it here! OMG. We loved everything about it. The ambience was current, clean, and comfortable. We had a window seat, the place was clearly a gathering spot for all the local fabulous and beautiful people. I tried a fun new cocktail (evidently just introduced last week)--a "lavender mule." We had a fab charcuterie board to start, and opted to not do the extravaganza or chef's choice, but selected just a few items. We shared the patatas bravas, with a perfect blend of the spicy sauce and garlic aioli; the cacio e pepe--which was probably the best we have had outside of Italy; lobster bucatini- melt in your mouth lovely; and the scallop dish w/ fried parsley. Hubby got the gelato flight for dessert (tiramisu, pistachio, butter pecan flavors--oh me, oh my!). I should have ordered one less dish. Even though I loved it all, I was miserably stuffed on all that. Such a memorable meal. And all overseen by our fabulous waitress, Courtney, who was the best kind of waitress--attentive and friendly, without overstaying or being pushy. The bolognese was excellent. Dislikes: the Italian flat bread was simply terrible and overpriced. Tables are too small - 4 people at a table was just too tight. Service for drinks was very slow. But the place was packed - I didn't know if there was any chance of getting a spot in the restaurant. But Tracy (the greeter) found a way for me to get a spot for dinner. She didn't have to do that - and I wouldn't of been upset if she couldn't - but she did. And it was a wonderful dinner. After a full day of road travel, this find was a Godsend! I mean everything about it was heavenly. Our server Meredith was amaze, I wanted just about everything on the menu. I settled for the French onion soup, mushroom medley, salmon tartare, escargot, shaved salad, and shrimp scampi. I don't usually have cocktails in the afternoon, but the lavender mule looked too good to pass on. It did not disappoint! (Will be recreating it at home). The ambiance was also great, the emerald green and bronzy gold made for an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. If I lived out here, this would be a staple, conversation and cocktails every weekend and that's coming from someone that has always lived in big cities. This pace is 10/10. Friday evening- 10-6-22 Arrived at 5:00 pm and explained we were meeting another couple who had reservations for dinner elsewhere. So we would just have cocktails We had a total of drinks and an appetizer- the waitress came over and said we needed to leave because our time was up at this table. I asked the waitress to explain as there were 7 empty tables in the area and empty tables outside- the hostess told me there is a 2 hour minimum on each table and our time was up - I had asked the waitress if there were customers coming to that table and she said responded no. We spent approximately $150.00 in that 2 hour period. The hostess explained there is a 2 hour limit on the tables - it would be nice to let each customer know that policy rather than spoil the evening with " you need to leave the table now" read more
