In addition to the friendly service, the store itself was well organized. There was art everywhere which gave it a rustic feel. The beverages were clearly organized in a way which made it easy to tour the different selections. They even had fun posts for local events on their pillar. Ten out of ten would recommend again.

We immediately walked over and I was trying to get more info on what they're all about and I left confused. I considered hosting a party at blending lab in the past & I was under the impression that we blend our own wine. Yesterday I asked the guy behind the counter some questions and he didn't mention this option at all. He said we can taste wine and pay for a glass...I was actually trying to learn more about the business, not the offerings at the opening party . I'm truly invested in putting beautiful West Adam's on the map, I love and purposely made an effort to move into this neighborhood. Maybe next time I'll learn more about what they'll be offering at this new location. They have a cute interior plus a small outdoor area with string lights. I was a bit surprised the glass of wine was $20 which isn't competitive for this area (the area is not nice enough yet) but I know costs are getting high. I do want to support businesses moving into our community but I'd like them to take into consideration that this is still south LA and a lot of people who grew up in this neighborhood isn't a fan of the gentrification and pricing the businesses charge I do feel for them, people like me moving into the neighborhood hasn't helped but even for me I thought it was a bit much. They offer a wide selection of wines, and you can even find beer and cider if that's more your speed. I've found the service to be friendly, answering questions I may have about specific wine selections or varietals. There's lot and nearby street parking available.

Whereas other wine shops with multiple locations will have you shop one location online, K&L have you shop all. You then find out your order isn't at the location you thought you were shopping at but will take weeks to get to you when you need it in days. When you go inside to get your order they also can be pretty rude. In other wine shops they have a pickup desk, here you aren't sure where to go. I asked an employee at a register where to pick up and he snapped when I'm done I'll help you. Once he was done he looked up my order and confirmed all bottles were there then just shouts " Next"! I'm just standing there with no wine so I ask are you getting my order? He snaps again " someone in the back is getting it". Very rude. After waiting 10 minutes another nice employee takes pity on me and asks my name and proceeds to pull my order in the back. No one was getting my order as the rude employee had said. The wines business isn't doing great these days and dealing with a rude employee isn't helping nor is a confusing online system. Note : at the tasting I did, I said I got the here and one of the participants said they are so rude there! Not everyone writes a poor review so I hope they take note. To Kate: thanks for the response. I think rather than having the customer check inventory at locations the website should and let customers know if it isn't available at the location you specified for pickup. I don't think you can message here? But I'll try again to shop there and I'm hoping the customer service improves.

This was the first location and it's also the largest. The selection is vast and there are some great wines and spirits available for purchase - including some coveted bottles of Fortaleza Tequila. The evening's line up featured French natural wine from Bob Singlar - 4 tastings for $20. Much like the other two stores the staff here are friendly and knowledgeable about the pours. They had a nice turnout including some locals who gather here on a weekly basis. I enjoyed conversing with them and meeting some of their fur babies. Hopefully, I can return for another tasting soon.

Once they approved it, they turned around admitted they didn't have it and tried to bait and switch me into something else, without even talking about the price difference. I cancelled the order and went to someone else. No acknowledgement of the order cancellation; very much like a scam.

I got to the shop ahead of my friend and asked the lady at the register if I could purchase two wine tastings and that one would be for a member. She said that she could not look up my friend's name and that she would have to pay in order to get the discount. So rather than letting me do a nice thing before she arrives I have to now wait for my girlfriend to show up. As I was walking away, the gal then asked me for her name, which wouldn't that go to prove that she is a member and wouldn't that have allowed me to purchase the two tastings? She even said "I'm sorry to be annoying" to which I replied yes, that is very annoying. The woman doesn't have much flexibility, obviously and says that people try to take advantage of the discount by saying their friend is a member.... Blah blah blah. The whole thing in general just doesn't make any sense. Don't be annoying, especially on a relaxing Sunday. The discount is what, a dollar or two!? Just look up the name and ask her when she arrives if she is who I said she was. Beyond f-ing annoying and bad customer service. Will be suggesting in the future to go down the street to Hi-Lo or somewhere else entirely.
