I don't understand. Made an appointment on their site for 6/1 3:30pm. Gets confirmed. I arrive at 3:30pm and the guy there doesn't know about any appointment. I was still about to get my car washed but I show him my ticket and he said he doesn't do validation and only the first 10 minutes is free? So do people just pay the parking fee along with the car wash? So I decide to go else where but on my way out the ticket doesn't read and I'm basically stuck in the parking structure until a worker came by and let me out. And my car is still dirty 0/10 would not recommend even to my worse enemy read more

My first time at Bubbe's and I have to say they do a stellar job. For me one of the best things about this service is the personal attention to detail and the direct communication the owner has with the customer. Josh, the owner, kept in touch via text multiple times during the service to provide updates. This kind of service can be pricey, which is the only reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5. I'll be back because of the convenience and location but I will only have two cocktails at the bar instead of three in order to save and pay for it. read more

Car Wash - 4 stars Happy with the results, and feel good knowing they don't use chemicals or excessive water. Customer Service - 3 stars Guy was nice. Easy to pay online. 1 star off for being 15 minutes late to appointment, and had no way to call anyone since there is no reception underground. 1 additional star off because someone opened my pocket knife and placed it back in the side pocket along with all the other loose items they placed in there. As I was reaching in to put the items back, I felt something sharp. Could have sliced my hand. Bubbe - if you're reading this, there's no need to open a knife. But if you do, and don't know how to fold it back, don't just put it in a dark door pocket. Maybe you were embarrassed that you opened something you shouldn't, but geez... at the very least place it on the dashboard. Otherwise, I hope you guys know how to remove blood stains. read more

I noticed this Bubbe's is now offering dent repair. Interesting. So I scheduled an mini detail a bit ago and took my car down to p5 where and older guy and younger lady were working on some nice cars. The older guy finished backing up the Lexus he was in, put it in park and suddenly threw the door open. SMACK. Right into the SUV next to him. The door bounced off the suv but when he got out of the car he made sure to give it another push. CRUNCH. Into the SUV again. I was watching from across the way in disbelief. *UPDATE* The owner and I talked about the incident and he's looking in to it. He seemed doubtful that it happened and told me that they have a camera down there recording. Check the footage and correct the problem. Until I hear back the rating stays 1 star. read more

Great price for value, terrific job cleaning the car ( even got some paint off from a door opened into my car) and timely! Would definitely recommend and return. Depending on the season you may have to validate your parking, but there are plenty of businesses nearby where you can make a small purchase. Otherwise enjoy the outside car wash and the great service! read more

The guy who answered the phone call for this business did not mention that there was not going to be available workers when we drove down to the car wash location. The man that was working down there, didn't speak very good English. Which, I don't mind. That's not the issue. The issue is, I asked a previous customer leaving how long it would take and he said a few hours. There is not enough workers or hustle happening. We left. Disappointed. read more

My experience w/ Bubbe's Steam Wash was wonderful from beginning to end! My appointment was cancelled, but the owner was quick to communicate with me and schedule another appointment for the same day. We were able to just text back and forth to coordinate, which included figuring out payment (they accept Venmo!) I chose the mini detail, and they did an excellent job! My car was sparkling when I got it back after an hour of work. Next time, I'm going to get a full detail! I completely trust Bubbe's w/ my car. read more

After recently moving to LA and figuring out self-serve washes and quick drive throughs, Bubbe's Steam was more than a cut above the rest. My car has never felt (and probably never been) cleaner! When they're done, it's literally spotless with the new car smell. And I love the fact that their process is environmentally-friendly and uses less water. Well, they did a good job, but never opened my trunk. They took much more time than originally stated, and on the phone, owner told me he would pay for the parking garage fee. (they are in the bowels of a tall building on Sunset Blvd). They validated my parking ticket, but it was not good for what the fee was. Anyway, it was a messy situation, but thank goodness someone from parking was there and he took care of it. Good thing I knew the owner's name! read more

Bubbe's Steam Wash did a fantastic job on my car!!! I was really happy with the result. I really appreciate that they had put my things that I had on the floor into a bag instead of on the seat like other car places do. Who wants hiking shoes on their seats? I sure don't!!! HORRIBLE. I was here for a meeting all day and decided to get my car washed. I picked it up at the end of the day, and it was still a mess! Still dirty on the outside, back window grimy around the edges and hazy across the center, NO conditioning whatsoever on any of the trim. It was vacuumed well - that's about the only good thing I can say. And upon contacting them for some sort of remediation? The minute they heard I'm not normally in that area so it was unlikely I could come back soon for a do-over, they didn't both offering any sort of other concessions. At the minimum, a partial refund would have been justifiably warranted for such shoddy work. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

These guys are the best in town! Dropped off my 2009 Mazda 3 here and had the interior detailed, looks and smells like a brand new car. The steam clean got all the spots and dirt marks off the headliner, dash and center console are so clean! They are professional and offer A+ great service. I took my husband's car in to be cleaned and detailed and they did an amazing job and my god that car was filthy!! He had just driven it cross country from New York and our 60lb German Shepherd was his co-pilot on the trip. The windows and upholstery was covered in drool (sorry guys but you did a great job!) there was dog fur everywhere in the interior and of course from the long drive they had squished many a bug on the windshield. I drive a 2018 Audi A4 in navy blue that I bought ~gently~ used. I never really noticed up until recently that my car had those little swirl scratches in the clear coat. It must've been from the previous owner taking it through an automated car wash....They aren't super noticeable when I have it parked in my parking garage, but any time I looked at it in the direct sunlight, those scratches were all I could see. Anyways, my car was absolutely filthy with bird droppings, tree sap, and water marks after I had it parked under a tree at a friends house for a few days. I've had some poor luck with other hand wash places around LA - I always felt they didn't do a great job for the amount of money I was paying. This was NOT the case with Bubbe's. First of all, the customer service is phenomenal. I spoke to Josh (the owner) to schedule my appointment, and he was so kind and helpful. He answered all my questions over the phone, and quoted me $52.99 for an exterior wash/detail, and interior steam/detail. I was honestly shocked at what an awesome deal this is. And the best part is, THEY COME TO YOU. I scheduled my appointment for 9:30am, and Andre (the gentlemen who washed my car), was here right on time. He was super nice, personable, and got my car washed in about an hour. When I tell you I was starstruck seeing my car when he was finished with it, I mean it. All those swirl scratches I was talking about? Gone. I don't know if it was the type of wax he used or what, but my car looks better now then it did the day I bought it. And the interior looks amazing. He steamed all the carpets, and thoroughly cleaned every single crevice in my car. Seriously, do yourself a favor and don't mess around with anyone else. Truly the cleanest my car has ever been. This was probably my 10th visit and each time the car is returned spotless. I always feel good using their service as it is environmentally friendly. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. The only negative is today I was told the policy changed and they only accept cash for the $24.99 car wash. They will only take credit cards for the $34.99 and up. In addition, the $24.99 they do not use their steam cleaning. I don't know how good that specific wash is now since they changed it, but i had to go with the $34.99 as I didn't have cash today. So what I can recommend is the $35 wash and the minus 1 star is due to the policy change which honestly makes no sense to me and I will be inclined to come less often. read more

Where to begin. I used to work in Columbia Square and would get my car washed every two weeks. I now drive out of my way to come to Hollywood to get my car washed here. Not only are they environmentally friendly, the wash itself is the best I have found in LA. Staff is awesome to chat with and honest.
