The post menu was good with a lot of tasty options. Of course, calories counts can be high, code to 1000 calories. Portions of meat is much less than Chipotle for 7.99, but the greens options are greater than Chipotle. Next time, ill build my own to control calories. Extremely average considering the hype. Looks bright and beautiful but twice went in and saw a sloppy floor and disorganized procedure. Food was mediocre. Service was less than expectation, even confused and easily rattled. May go back, may not. Was truly hoping this would be an easy replacement for Chipotle but...naw. So we went in for dinner at 830pm . 3 adults and 1 child. We ordered 3 bowls and 3 shakes. It took 20 minutes to get our food. Literally 2 mins after we starting eating an employee approaches us and tells us they are closed and we need to leave. I said we just got our food after waiting for so long and we just starting eating. Her response was well u can take it to go. I couldn't believe how rude they were. We just spent 80 bucks and we said it was for here and because it took so long to make it they kicked us out. Worst experience ever. And it was a Wednesday nite. On top of that they didn't have enough steak to cover all 3 bowls so instead of telling us..they just put 4 pieces of steak on each but yet we we're still charged the outrageous amount for each. New, clean and modern. Our first visit. We walked in and acid rock was playing pretty loud. (Maybe turn the volume down to #2, please!) That was a turn off so we didn't eat in the restaurant. The spicy Greek salad didn't have too many Greek vegetables (I would have liked some olives/peppers). The Mediterranean grain dish was a bit small and bland, and quite frankly was more southern Mediterranean than northern Mediterranean spice wise. I ordered through doordash and the restaurant didn't put the guacamole on my salad that was supposed to come on it. I ordered a side of guacamole and chips and the tiny little cup of guacamole was just half of a sliced unripe avocado that was barely mashed up. The food had way too many onions and otherwise no flavor. The lettuce was weird and shredded and soggy. Food is disgusting, couldn't eat more than a few bites. Also the name is really dumb. I can't stop thinking about how dumb the name is. I have spent more time thinking about the dumb name than I spent trying to eat the food. Yucky. read more

The food was really good! It was my first trip in on Tuesday around 2:30pm and the guy who took the order was really nice. My number was called and I walked over to the food prep area. Then the female employee with black hair called for someone else's food. I asked if the food that was in the bag on the counter was mine. She scolded me and said "Be patient, I don't even have a ticket or know if this is finished". This was after I was called so I was confused and kinda upset that she was so angry with her tone of voice. She then walked around for a minute or two and didn't ask the other lady in charge about my order. This was my first time ordering, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the buffalo burrito while my husband got the teriyaki burrito. The chicken was excellent, much juicier than Chipotle in our opinion. The veggies were really fresh and added a great amount of crunch. Overall, it was much more flavorful than anything I've gotten at Chipotle. I took away one star because I had a small burrito and my husband had a regular yet they were both the same size, so I can't comment on the portions since I don't know which we received. This is my favorite mexican place. The ingredients are always super fresh & yummy! I normally order the classic bowl & it fills me up pretty good. You should try the Orange Glo Smootie, it's delicious & packed with nutrients. It's definitely an added bonus that they sell organic milk in small packages with a straw for the kids. went in friday and ordered the buffalo chicken bowl, couldn't eat more than 3 bites and felt sick immediately afterwards, gross but i was willing to give them another chance and try something else. the cashier mentioned that if i download their app and link a debit/credit card, i could get a free bowl. so i did that and went in two days later to redeem it, however when i attempted to pull it up, the reward was no longer available (mind you, when i first got the reward there was no sort of expiration date) so i asked to speak to a manager about it. she explained to me that they changed their policy with it and customers now need to purchase something before getting the free bowl, seems a little ridiculous to take the offer away from rewards members who already had it instead of just changing the policy for future members. walked right out after this and i won't be back read more

I have wanted to try this place since it opened and finally did so today. I ordered a couple of bowls to go, and they were delicious. It's not always easy to find tasty and varied vegetarian options, but this place delivers. I ordered a side of chicken for my husband, and he loved his bowl. Everything was really fresh. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff was super friendly. It was very easy to order. For some reason I had thought it might be confusing. After googling suburban vegetarian restaurants, that was the first time my vegetarian friend and I had seen "Currito" in Elmhurst. We're so glad we found it! There's street parking, but a small lot right beside Currito is shared with other businesses, also. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, with an employee who was walking around carefully keeping up with it and making sure customers have what they need. The employees are kind and informative. Dining is at butcher block tables; some with chairs, others with block stools. The food choices are fresh daily and while you have the option to create your own meal, we chose the Classic Bowl and the Currito House Salad, chips (which are warm), and guacamole. I'd had enough chicken for the week, so I tried the tofu and was not disappointed. I love the cilantro lime rice, corn salsa, and black beans. I'm very sensitive to spices, although I will order the corn salsa again. It was quite filling along with the chips and guac. She enjoyed her salad and the creamy lime dressing. We both plan to return to try the Tikka, Mediterranean, Summer, and more on the menu. It's nice to have additional options to a similar restaurant whose vegetarian is grilled veg. read more
