Took my dad there yesterday,he is visuting from Austin, and what a pathetic experience. Low staffed place, filthy environment, food is ok, BUT they overcharged us beyond the menu prices written saying that they have changed prices in the cash register but not on menu. Unbelievable!!!!!!! We ordered 3 dishes, chicken pieces and chapal kabobs $10 each for two of them and Nihari $13 for one. When she took my card she charged $60. Breakdown Dishes were charged $15, $13 and $12 saying price increase IN REGISTER not on menu. Then we got charged for Tawa paratha that never came. Then she added 15% tip herself. SCAMMERS!!! This was a tasty surprise. We ate here on a Saturday afternoon. Tikki masala fries were delicious. I ordered the paneer tikki masala and although the flavor was good, I was a little disappointed that I only had about 7 cubes of paneer. I am so happy that I finally came down here from Northern side of Phoenix! Totally worth the drive! First off , the website says they close at 10:30 , however don't let t fool you! They actually stop taking call orders at 10:30pm and they close their dine in at 10pm Appetizer Tikka masala fries with some Queso fresco Cotija cheese! Went here for lunch and dinner a different night. I had the platter both times because it is a good deal and variety of food. During lunch, a girl was working and doing everything by herself except cooking (seating guests, taking phone orders, delivering food, ringing up people, etc.), and just barely keeping up. Really nice customer service and a hard worker. I got my food pretty quickly and had to wait for the naan which she told me as she was setting the plate down. Naan was great! So was the food. I wasn't crazy about the sauce in the spicy chicken, but otherwise I really enjoyed my meal. I will note that I noticed the Christian music and thought it was odd to hear that in a Pakistani restaurant. I don't mind it cuz it was good music, but I saw another reviewer complain about that so just fair warning. Food was delicious. Definitely wanted to come back. I would have left five stars with this lunch service and food and ambiance. I came for dinner tonight and it took a while for my food to come out. Also, it seems more families eat at night here as I saw two families with kids and the kids were crying and screaming very loudly:( I considered leaving cuz it was that bad. Just like lunch, they said my naan would come out later as they placed the plate down, but this time the naan didn't look fully cooked and just had a butter drawn on it so I just wiped most of it off before I ate it. There were two guys working, but they seemed to be struggling with the flow a bit as I could hear they were behind on food delivery from uber eats and other companies and I waited a while for my food. One driver was sitting and coughing while waiting for the food which was annoying, but I guess the restaurant can't really help with screaming kids and coughing delivery drivers. I think the overall experience was alright. We had a minor incident in the parking lot with one of the owners/employees. I apologized because I was confused where to park and cut him off accidentally. He said sit anywhere you'd like and threw our menus on the table. Understandable. The food was quick and delicious. We normally order here a few times a month. The food is usually good, not great. The past two times we have had an issue with grub hub orders. The first time, they found our order, the second time they did not. It was already paid for, had proof (receipt, order number, etc). They would not do anything for us. Asked us to order again. Based on other reviews, we were worried about the amount of food we would receive and if it would be packaged well, but we were pleasantly surprised that we received a normal amount of food and nothing was spilled or leaking. The food itself tasted good, but it was just entirely too greasy and oily. The vegetable handi we ordered was just sitting in so much oil. The spinach curry and tikka masala were also swimming in far too much oil. I did enjoy the texture of the naan, fluffy yet crispy on the bottom. The samosas tasted nice but they did not provide the red and green dipping sauce, which is the best part of eating samosas! Without the sauces it's just fried mashed up potatoes. I will likely not order from here again, but I do not regret ordering from here, if that makes sense. Found this place when we in the Phoenix area. Our usual place was closed. So, the wife looked this one up. Was on the list from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. First, we both love Indian food. This was listed as Pakistani and Indian. We ordered hummus, and garlic naan. I ordered the fish curry and my wife and her friend split the chicken kabob plate. The hummus was good but nothing to write home about. The garlic naan was great. Some of the best I have had in this area. The fish curry was very good with large chunks of fish. Could have been spicer for me. My wife and friend said the chicken was very good. The portions are very large as none of us finished everything. I had an iced tea that was pure sugar. Way to sweet. All-in-all a good experience. Only draw backs were not enough spice for me and you are not offered extra spice. And the overly sweet tea. We will go back. read more

We ordered Tandoori chicken, chicken keema and chicken korma. Both the curries came with rice. The Tandoori chicken to my surprise was really good, the meat was tender and juicy, really enjoyed the chicken. The keema was a disaster, there was absolutely no taste, it was bland and regretted it for ordering. The korma was alright for our taste and was better than keema. Wanted to try this after DDD did an episode on this place. I've eaten here once, and got take out a couple times. Service is under par. Food is ok. I've had tandoori chicken, chicken Tikka masala, kababs and chicken biryani here. My wife liked their Tikka masala and the tandoori chicken is a hit or miss. The biryani was terrible, no flavor and texture of the rice was gooey. The kababs were not fresh and chicken was too hard. Take out is never delivered on time, but they will tell you 25 mins for pick up. Knowing they were late the first time, I went after 35 mins of ordering and my food wasn't ready. When asked to check on status, the server looked at me like I asked him to add me to his will. I prefer this to be a 3.5 star review. My mom and I came here for lunch because she saw that it had been featured on Food Networks: Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Finally got me A seat this lady server left me waiting and had the audacity to serve someone else who had just walked in. A classy lil establishment with a strong sense for taste and flavor. I've been coming here more or less for 4 years now and the consistency in my meals is well worth the money and a try of the variety of stuff this place has to offer. Samosas- we ordered 2 orders and inside them still cold. 2. For anyone visiting the Phoenix metro, love Indian food, or consider them self a foodie, this is a must try! I've been coming here since 2011 and there's no other restaurant I've ate at more than here (except for Chipotle and Chic-Fil-a) during my time as an undergrad. I do miss their old prices but am very happy they have expanded. Food is still amazing as always. I've tried almost everything except for the vegetarian list and a few other items. The yogurt mango lassi is delicious - sweet, creamy consistency, and refreshing. The chicken Tikka Masala with rice and garlic naan is a must - I've heard it's not made like "traditional" ways, but I've tried multiple takes of this at various of different restaurants (maybe it depends what region of Indian you compare it to? this version is absolutely the best). The chicken tikka masala has a perfect mix of Indian spice in a tomato base and cream. I always love it when they add an extra kick to it. You can ask for extra meat (not sure if they charge though. I've never paid attention). Other things to get are the mixed grilled sizzler is. This is good as well, especially if you're really big on meat portions. I usually get lamb briyani every now and then. Honestly, I can go on for days! The service is not over the top amazing, but they're good people. I heard about Curry Corner through an Indian friend during a conversation about cooking and eating Indian food -- the rich flavor profiles provided by the wide variety of flavorful spices, the necessity of quality in said spices, and the best Indian places in the valley. The lamb was choice although some pieces were a bit dry. The naan was fresh out of the oven, buttery and flaky. The tikka masala sauce was excellent and authentic as any I've had. I do however have to knock down a star for the cup they gave me for water (first of all, the water tasted a little funky), which had some white greasy substance smeared on the side. Pretty gross. I brought a ginormous plate of food. I got everything but the Curry Chicken. Instead they gave either Lamb or Beef Curry. I was okay with that, being I wanted to try it. The food was pretty good. The right amount of spices with a hint of garlic. The Naan was perfection. Now, for that Mango Lassi. This was my first one ever. I like flavor but it wasn't cold. It could have been chilled. I don't know if Lassi are supposed to be room temperature. If it is to be served at room temperature. I will never order again. I probably will not go back. It was just okay. Been here a few times and the food is good. Our most recent dine-in experience was not the greatest though. Service was pretty poor and at the end, our bill came out to be pricier than expected. We paid but then noticed we were charged an 18% service fee in addition to our tip. This is a totally normal expectation for larger parties. What was weird was that they charged us the 18% service fee without telling us and then when we asked if that was the tip, they said no. So we ended up paying for our food and tipping on top of the tip they had calculated without telling us. To top it all off, they asked us if we would pay our tip in cash which seemed shady. First time here since Triple Ds aired it a few years ago. I went inside to place a to go order with the guy behind the cashier. I asked him for a goat recommendation and an appetizer so I trusted him and ordered them. I have to say I couldn't normally eat them all but I did! The goat is one of the best I ever had.
