Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Vegetable Samosa, Lamb samosa, Beef Briyani, Mango Lassi

Great place to try something different! Our favorite was the butter chicken out of the 3 main dishes we tried, pair it with the garlic naan... delicious. The samosas were amazing , and so was the mango lassi drink.

To start; the veggie pakora were an excellent first course. However, the beef in my entree was evidently lacking in fat; and overcooked to a very undesirable toughness. While an inspired idea, the execution of the Tika pizza was a tragedy of errors; lacking in sauce and with large, boorishly cut vegetables that were unable to cook through in the timeframe that it took to burn the bottom of the naan.

Curry Lamb

Maybe I come at the wrong times, but before my dishes were excellent every order. Nice portions, good thickness of the curry and naan was perfect. I got a nice portion of rice and the naan is fine. However, the curry is watery and bland with 4-6 pieces of lamb swimming. Hopefully it's just a mistake since I did love their food before.

Great Naan bread.

My recommendation: don't waste your time. Curry Kitchen has the best Indian food in Muskegon. Also the only Indian restaurant in Muskegon, the food is pretty good. The service, however, is phenomenally bad. Most of the waitestaff are nowhere to be found most of the time, and can't be bothered with in-restaurant customers when they are nearby. Their delivery and pickup service is worse. I've never waited less than an hour and a half for an order to be ready, and waited two and a half hours for one delivery. The most recent order for pickup, which took them an hour to prepare, ended with them sending our order out the door with someone else's DoorDash driver. And to add insult to injury, the staff couldn't be bothered to help us, or try to make it right; they just disappeared. After 45 minutes of trying to get our order, trying to find out what happened to our food, and trying to find out if DoorDash was actually--by some glitch--delivering to us, they finally found our order. It was sitting out the whole time. They just hadn't bothered looking. So we had cold scurry Kitchen for our daughter's birthday dinner.

The food did not taste good to me. The spices were heavy, which I usually like, but something was off.

It's also pretty affordable and all the stuff seems like it's relatively a well balanced meal. The food was delicious, and I honestly went here Sunday and Tuesday (they're closed on Mondays) because it was that good. Both times we had the same server and she was so incredibly nice and helpful and even had suggestions when my boyfriend and I were unsure where to start. I tried the Lychee Juice and it was so good!! It just looks a bit cloudy. I researched the juice and it's pretty good for you too which is always a plus! Only thing not pictured of what we tried (on Monday) was the Vegetable Samosa. It was good, as was the other appetizer, the onion bhaji but I honestly got bored after a little bit and didn't finish my samosa and only ate one of the onion bhajis. Nonetheless the food was marvelous and i've already suggested this place to my loved ones and friends!

They need a waitress. Is too much for one young lady. I'm starting to understand why most people order take out. The other patrons were not friendly at all. Maybe is a grand haven thing, or maybe they do not like diversity. I just did not feel comfortable. Luckily I was with my family. Next time. Take out it is.

The lamb saag was rich, perfectly spiced, and the lamb was so tender it practically melted. The lamb mushroom curry had incredible depth of flavor -- earthy, savory, and just the right amount of heat. And the butter chicken? Creamy, comforting, and honestly some of the best I've tasted -- not too sweet, not too heavy, just perfectly balanced. On top of the amazing food, the service was wonderful. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. It's clear they care about the experience just as much as the food. I can't recommend Roti enough. Whether you're craving something rich and hearty or just want a great meal with excellent service, this place delivers on every level. We'll definitely be back -- and I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu! If you haven't been to Roti yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it.

Naan pizza sounded like a fun fusion option with reasonable prices. Following a lovely morning at a…read morecafe and visiting the farmer's market we decided on this spot for lunch. When we arrived we noticed it was a two in one restaurant serving both traditional and fusion naan pizzas. They also had new prices. Everything was $4 more. Inflation hit and surprised us. Nevertheless we ordered a 9 inch chicken tikka masala pizza and cheese sticks for $27. SMH. The toppings were not cut for pizza's and it was clear to us that they were the same veggies they prepared for their curries. Huge chunks of peppers etc. The naan pizza was disappointing. It was $15 for a McCormick's tasting curry sauce with oddly cut veggies found under the cheese. The chicken had been toasted so long I thought they were croutons until I took a bite. Not worth it. The cheese sticks for the kids had some curry sauce brushed on with melted cheese and jalapeño. The man knew I was ordering it for the kids and the menu didn't say it came with anything but bread and cheese. SMH. That was a wasted $11. All of this took over 20 minutes to prepare. We were the only patrons. The place was dark, dusty and when we sat at the booth offered to us, I almost fell through to the floor. We chose to eat outside, across the street at some picnic tables because it was sunny and the air smelled fresh. The owners were nice enough, but I had to request napkins and the food was just okay. Glad we tried it, but I don't think we'll be back. Not good enough quality or balance of flavors for the price.

The tikka was pretty spicy but good, the waitress didn't ask what spice level we wanted. The veggie pizza was less spicy but pretty skimpy on the vegetables other than green peppers. Important Note: this is behind the Boost Mobile, and not so easy to see. A family-run three-person operation, Mithu is exactly the kind of restaurant operation that elevates a community. It's located in the Towne & Country shopping center, which has other proud national restaurants. I started off with the Gobi Manchurian, which really shows off cauliflower at its best. Savory, crispy, with a sweet slightly spicy tang. (You can customize the spiciness of most dishes on a 1-10 scale.) The Kottu Roti might best be described as Sri Lankan stuffing, light and flavorful. A complex dish with the flavor profile that just kept giving little sparkles of delight. The garlic naan, screamingly hot out of the tandoor, was a perfect vehicle for the other dishes. The mango lasi was fresh and not too sweet, highlighting the fruit. A+ would sip again. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and enthusiastic. This is a great place to bring friends and explore the menu. You'll thank me later.

I am extremely disappointed in how this establishment treated me and advise others to stay away. If their lack of concern for their customers is this bad, what other quality concerns are they hiding? I really wanted some Indian food today. My workday gets very busy, so I placed a Door Dash order here. I headed out right away since it showed my order would be ready in 15 minutes and did not look at the app further after that. I showed up around the time the order should have been ready, was not greeted, and after I went to the bar to find a staff member, was told by Vishal they were not accepting Door Dash orders. I showed him on my phone that their portal was still open and allowed me to place a confirmed order. At this time he pointlessly ushered me into their kitchen to show me their iPad with their DoorDash portal was turned off. Again, I let him know it allowed me to place an order and he should please turn off their portal if he does not want orders coming through. Vishal seems to thing turning off the DoorDash iPad and ignoring if orders are placed qualifies as closing their portal. Vishal was insincere and apathetic in response to my concerns. I wasted the small amount of time I had to pick up food during my work day on this mediocre experience. The only positive is that when I reported to DoorDash that the restaurant was closed, I received a refund. That says much more about the customer service of DoorDash however, and is not a positive reflection on this establishment. If Vishal shows such a lack of care for customers trying to spend money with him, I probably dodged a bullet by not having the opportunity to try their food. I will never again intentionally darken the door of this establishment.
