Naan pizza sounded like a fun fusion option with reasonable prices. Following a lovely morning at a cafe and visiting the farmer's market we decided on this spot for lunch. When we arrived we noticed it was a two in one restaurant serving both traditional and fusion naan pizzas. They also had new prices. Everything was $4 more. Inflation hit and surprised us. Nevertheless we ordered a 9 inch chicken tikka masala pizza and cheese sticks for $27. SMH. The toppings were not cut for pizza's and it was clear to us that they were the same veggies they prepared for their curries. Huge chunks of peppers etc. The naan pizza was disappointing. It was $15 for a McCormick's tasting curry sauce with oddly cut veggies found under the cheese. The chicken had been toasted so long I thought they were croutons until I took a bite. Not worth it. The cheese sticks for the kids had some curry sauce brushed on with melted cheese and jalapeño. The man knew I was ordering it for the kids and the menu didn't say it came with anything but bread and cheese. SMH. That was a wasted $11. All of this took over 20 minutes to prepare. We were the only patrons. The place was dark, dusty and when we sat at the booth offered to us, I almost fell through to the floor. We chose to eat outside, across the street at some picnic tables because it was sunny and the air smelled fresh. The owners were nice enough, but I had to request napkins and the food was just okay. Glad we tried it, but I don't think we'll be back. Not good enough quality or balance of flavors for the price. read more

Went on a dark gloomy day. Unfortunately the inside of the restaurant is dark and gloomy too, and seemed pretty dingy. We ordered 2 pizzas, one chicken tikka and the other veggie. The tikka was pretty spicy but good, the waitress didn't ask what spice level we wanted. The veggie pizza was less spicy but pretty skimpy on the vegetables other than green peppers. We never found any eggplant. We were the only patrons the whole time we were there. I doubt we will go back. I think it's the only Indian restaurant in the area. read more

Naan is located downtown Muskegon in a old building but clean. The staff that gave us our order were humble and kind. This was a pick up order. Also it was my first time of having India style pizza. I ordered the Mango chicken pizza and my wife got the Chicken Tikka pizza and a bowl of soup. Although it was not the traditional Italian I am use to. I must say ... Everything was good and taste. What I tried - - Kashmiri Tikka, Kadhai Chicken, Malai Kofta, Hot & Sour Soup(1st pic). - Onion Bhajia (2nd pic & this was my favorite ). I haven't been to Naan in about a year and WOW am I disappointed. I waited for over 30 minutes for a pizza. There were only two other tables seated. I was never told the status on my order and cashing out was as slow as getting my to-go order. As I waited I watched three other tables be seated, offered drinks and chips. I really do love supporting local establishments but this completely missed the mark. As far as the food - compared to a year ago, the pizza is not up to par. I ordered the Butter Chicken pizza and it tastes like a store bought pizza and makes me really sad. Comparing photos they've definitely changed some things. I just want my marvelous pizza. Didn't know what to expect at first. I've never had Indian Pizza before but we had a coupon so we thought we'd try it out. The actual Naan Pizza restaurant was closed for a private party so we ended up eating inside Curry Kitchen - we were still able to order off the Pizza Menu. We ordered 2 pizzas and one order of breadsticks. It took a little longer than we excepted, about 40 minutes for everything but it tasted so good! Will definitely go back for more soon! read more
