The mixed veg paratha, which I shared with my dining companions, was also excellent as I am told were their lunch specials. The sweet lassi was highlight - I get this often when I eat out and this version is a new favorite. I can't believe we just found this place. It's been around 2+ years and we have been missing out on some of the most delicious Indian food. We are big fans of the chicken pakora, tikka masala & lamb curry. We have been trying different soups also, and haven't found one that we don't like yet. The restaurant is always clean and has on some of the best music. We've had Sravii as a waitress a few times, and she is the sweetest. Also has the best memory I have ever seen- if you meet her, you will see that for yourself! This place is a gem! Go get some Indian & enjoy the music of their culture. read more

The restaurant had a very appealing look. The decorations and artwork gave the restaurant a joyful and welcoming ambiance. The staff had a warm presence and were patient, kind, attentive and friendly. I ordered the Mughlai and the Aloo Na'an. The Na'an was absolutely delicious- full of flavor, soft to eat and emitted a delightful aroma. I highly recommend that na'an. The Mughlai was pretty good but lacked the flavor. I expected flavors of coriander, cumin and cashew bit of course each chef has his or her own style. It was not an unpleasant taste at all but did, for my taste, lack flavor. The restaurant was very clean and neat. The meal was reasonably priced. I ordered veggie and chicken momos to go.... I will keep you posted how they fair with me. I absolutely love the Curry leaf in Concord NH. It' sooo much better than the Indian restaurant that was there before. I think this is around the 6th visit. We went to Concord specifically to go to lunch here. We live in the woods and I make Indian food at home sometimes from scratch, which is time consuming and labor intensive. I purchase the necessary ingredients from Patel Brothers in Nashua or Keene international grocery or the Asian markets in Manchester. I love any restaurant that brings me a legitimate chutney or salsa caddy to my table. If you order any fried appetizers they bring you the cilantro mint chutney, tamarind chutney, and onion and tomato chutney for dipping. Today we had lamb curry x2, saag paneer, chicken tikki marsala, poori(puffy fried bread), vegetable pakoras, and the lunches came with rice and an appetizer each. We tried the coconut soup, which was good, different from anything we've gotten before, and a samosa. The cocktail program is great, the lychee Martini was a standout! They have a wonderful staff and great service, it does get busy on the weekend nights. I made a reservation one time when dad took us to the capital theater for a show. The theater is only a block or two away which makes a one parking space walk for all if you don't mind walking a lil bit, which if it's busy downtown you'll be doing anyways. I've been going through some family stuff and it's so nice to go to a lovely destination lunch to clear the sadness out of the mouth and soul. They also were playing Bollywood/Indian music videos on a screen behind me and I love, love, love that too. An Indian restaurant without proper music or entertainment would be like going to a Mexican restaurant playing Enya! I took home some leftovers. I'm very excited to have a snack for later. So many foods are better shared so you can try more things. I highly recommend going with some dining companions and going outside your comfort level with a few new tries of dishes. The dinner I booked with dad was excellent. He's a vegetarian from NH and has slowly over 20 years warmed up to non Western food, but he loves it now. intrigued by the large number of 5 star Yelp reviews my wife and I decided to check it out. Neither of us had ever had Indian food, nor knew anything about it... only that it sounded delicious and looked great in the pics. We arrived at about 6 pm on a Thursday. The place was moderately busy. We were immediately warmly greeted and given a choice of booth or table. Our orders were taken - after a good deal of questions were answered by our very polite and knowledgeable waiter. I don't recall what we ordered other than some sort of onion naan. But they were both chicken dishes in sauce. My wife's was mild as she requested; mine was much spicier, which I liked. (As others have noted, they are very willing to adjust the spice levels.) Were they authentic?? I Not being up on Indian cuisine I have no clue. But we know what tastes good and what we enjoy... and this filled the bill on every level! Hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! Exceeded all expectations! The decor is nice and clean. Prices reasonable considering the quality and portions. My wife and I left full, happy and eager to return!! read more

Curry Leaf took over the former House of India space in Downtown Concord. Curry Leaf is currently the only Indian restaurant in Concord without having to travel a ways to Manchester and Nashua for Indian food. I stopped by Curry Leaf for Indian takeout recently around lunchtime. They did not offer a buffet at the time of this posting. The place offers sit down dining, takeout, and online delivery through GrubHub and DoorDash. Since their online platform was not working properly, I placed my takeout order in person, ordering the 2 Entree Lunch Bento Box ($14.95 plus tax) served with 2 entree choices, basmati rice and choice of 1 appetizer and an order of Plain Naan ($3.95 plus tax). My order was ready to go in about 20 minutes. I enjoyed my Indian food back at the office. The portion of food was good as I enjoyed the chosen entrees of Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Curry over soft basmati rice, good flavors with the preferred amount of spiciness. The chosen appetizer, a Vegetable Samosa, was firm flaky and deep fried and filled with curry potato, peas and spices, dipping sauces provided. The Naan was hot and soft (4 slices) and charred on some parts and pretty good with the lunch entrees. As I was finishing up, my Indian coworker who lives in Concord said something smells good and I told them Curry Leaf just opened in Downtown Concord. They grabbed the takeout menu and kept it since they were now going to order dinner from Curry Leaf tonight, and very excited for not having to drive to Manchester for Indian food. read more

Our first Indian restaurant experience was at Curry Leaf, and it was fantastic! The waitress made recommendations which helped us feel less overwhelmed by the menu and the dishes were spot on. They make all the dishes to order so you can tell them on a scale of 1-10 what level of spice you prefer. The flavors were extremely delicious and I highly recommend getting out there and trying something new. While you enjoy your evening, you can relax in the ambiance that is authentic decor and music. Also, I'd recommend getting the mango lassi to drink. And lastly, if you're going for dinner, it's best and easiest to get reservations. An excellent experience was had overall! Hard to write this review because just thinking about my Curry Leaf meal yesterday makes me want to jump in the car and be there when they open today! I'd been meaning to try this restaurant for far too long and am so happy I landed in downtown Concord at lunchtime. From greeting to parting, the staff were attentive and responsive, but in a way that complimented the calming, unrushed atmosphere. This allowed me to sit back and savor every delicious bite from appetizer to bread to curry (Lamb Korma). The spices were so bright, flavorful and everything fresh. Mild-to-hot seasoning preferences are noted when you order--I requested medium/hot for my curry and it was like adding a cozy, warm blanket to the whole experience.
