That is good in our books. 8 Thumbs Up, Curry & Kebob! Kudos for that!! My parents shared The Meat Samosas, and The Lamb Masala. The Meat Samosas were OK, but my Dad liked his order of Lamb Masala ALOT and he said the flavor was there and he liked his order of Naan too. As for my mum, she felt that the Lamb Masala was slightly too spicy for her liking. Hubs order the Beef Vindaloo, he said it was just A-OK, coz the portion of meat and potatoes are equally the same. Hubs thought that the Vindaloo should just contain gravy and meat, but this dish made by Curry N Kebob was loaded with potatoes. I ordered #5, let me tell you this shit was busssin. I mean I wasn't THAT hungry when I came here but I ate more than I expected to it was so good. SO GOOD. The spicy flavor was nicely balanced amongst the peppers and onions only to be complimented with the perfectly made naan and rice! My husband and I use to come here and the Indian was super good for the price. Now I believe they have changed management the workers look different and the food is absolutely horrible. Date of order: 01/28/2023, 6:30pm Type of order: delivery TLDR: nearly inedible, poor quality, and does not even attempt to be authentic. Do not order from this place. Avoid. I ordered three entrees and two sides of naan. The first entree was a "chicken tandoori kebob", but it was not recognizable in any way as a kebob or tandoori. There were no char marks or skewer holes to indicate it was ever roasted in a tandoor or even put on a skewer. It came in a styrofoam container that was tightly enclosed in plastic wrap to prevent leakage, and nonetheless the package leaked oil everywhere...but tandoori chicken is a dish that should not be oily in the slightest! The onions and peppers should be crispy, yet these were sodden as if they were cooked in a pot of soup. The chicken had none of the expected ruddy red hue that one expects from tandoori chicken, and had a flavor & texture much more similar to something stewed or steamed. The second dish was saag paneer. The saag itself was at least mostly spinach, but there was no spice flavor at all, nor was it creamy. The flavor was watery and had no punch. The paneer was characterless and added nothing to the dish. The third dish was "vegetable Ceylone", which the menu describes as "similar to the vegetable korma but with the coconut curry Ceylone sauce." While the veggies at least didn't taste frozen, they were overcooked to the point of mush. The curry sauce tasted like something sold out of a supermarket. This was something I could have made by buying a jar at Trader Joes and tossing it over a pack of veg. What's the point of spending $15+ on something you could easily make yourself at home (and doesn't taste very good anyways)? Both naan orders were bland but passable, although the garlic naan had no garlic flavor at all. Lastly, the rice was not at all fragrant and was, like many other things in this order, overcooked. Overall, this restaurant is not worth anyone's time or money. You will leave disappointed, irritable, and worse of all, hungry. read more

Don't be fooled by the mini-mall exterior- the food is delicious. I was a little surprised by the walk-up counter and drop off service, but the prices really make up for that. $8 and some change for a lunch platter, which had the dish of curried meat, rice, four quarters of naan, a little fried onion with sweet sauce, and a dish of pineapple. The Chicken Mahkni was delicious and I was so full afterward. I ordered mild, which had 0 spice, and the medium only had the slightest spice to it. If you're a wimp like me then you would probably be ok with hot. The chai was $3 and a little watery for my liking. They keep the restaurant warm, so order your chai cold. They couldn't do the chai decaf, but I risked a migraine to try it anyway because I can hardly find chai tea, much less decaf chai. I stumbled upon this place when I was out looking for some curry and I am so glad I did. The parking is very easy for this restaurant and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are all very nice and welcoming from when you first walk in the door to when you leave. The prices for their meals are also pretty perfect along with the portions. I went simple in my choice of meal. It was such delicious curry and went poured over the rice it was exactly what I needed. The food was very filling and because I did mild the spices were also very complimenting of each other. I loved the little fruit dessert because after such a rich meal it was the perfect pallet cleanser. They also have multiple take away containers there that you can use and will offer to bag away your items as well. They clean off your table so you can leave the tray there. The food here is solidly average. Eat in instead of taking out because you'll get the onion baji and dessert with the meal for the same price. Good mix of your typical offerings like chicken tikka masala and other still somewhat familiar to us Americans but not as common ones. I went with goat vindaloo at a "hot" spiciness. It's a good amount of heat that let me sweat a bit without being overpowering. The onion baji were somewhat bland though, as was the mint chutney. Both could've used some more salt/sugar. The chai was mostly unsweetened though I was expecting something pretty sweet. The naan was disappointing and unremarkable. Service is quick, the portions are massive (usually too much food for me), and the food is always quality. Sometimes it's crowded but the inside has lots of tables would definitely recommend this place. I usually get the chicken Mahkni (not sure the spelling), it's usually the #1, it's a tomato dairy curry sauce with chicken pieces, comes with rice, naan bread, a fried crispy onion, some pineapple, and a red sweet sauce that i dip the onion thing in. Wow, my expectations were pretty low walking in. However, this quick service Indian restaurant pulls it off. First off, I've never seen a quick service Indian restaurant before. It's brilliant. Usually it's a lunch buffet or full service sit down. While this means fewer menu options, the food you do get is better quality. Ordering is simple, pick your dish and level of spiciness. If you want vegan or gluten free, specify when you order (e.g. sub papdom for naan). Yes, it's ALOT of food (especially if you eat in; you get a pakoda and fruit in addition). That bowl is deceptively small. The more I dug in, the more food seemed to be left. There's plenty of take out containers on the counter. Don't be shy about using them. The food is very good to excellent and presented in traditional stainless steel dishware (nice touch). I had the chana saag. The chole were cooked just right, not too soft or firm. The spinach was smooth and creamy. The naan and rice were on par (not bad but not particularly good either). My philosophy is that naan should be soft on one side and slightly crisp on the other. Ordering straight from their website is super easy. Pickup is very quick and they are excellent at making sure everything is packed well. I can always eat all my rice and half the curry, and make more rice for my leftovers the next day. Enticing Indian Drove by with a friend and quickly turned into the lot to give em a shot. We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into but we were up for a little mystery. Upon entering we noticed two distinct sides of the restaurant. To your left is a casual and low maintenance dining area while to your right is a sit-down version for those that want to take their mealtime experience up a notch. Both still yield a pleasant and affordable fare. Being extremely hungry and not too familiar with their offerings, we both purchased a chicken lunch special & beverage at the counter and made our way to the left hand side. It wasn't very long (about 5-7 minutes) until our food hit the table. The lunch special portions were fairly big. The silver serving platters sure make you feel like your receiving massive amounts of food. It came with a few different sides to try with your meal. Their naan bread was fresh and soft. It was my favorite part along with the fried onion bhaji. I'm an onion ring fan and their bhaji hit the spot especially when I piled all the goodness onto a piece of naan bread. Overall, the flavor/taste factor was good. They have doggie bags out near the counter if your ready to take your leftovers home. I'm sure you can also ask a roaming server to grab one for you if you wish to wait a little longer and chat it up with your dining partner. Quick search on the Yelp app informed me that Curry n Kebob was nearby and I was on my way. This place... this place is amazing. The guy at the front counter was very helpful and showed us around the menu when we told him it was our first time here. He recommended the lunch special and it's a pretty solid option. The lunch specials are HUGE. For $7.95, you get a big bowl of the main dish, rice, a generous serving a naan, a small bowl of diced fruit, onion bhaji, and chutney. I choose the chicken makhani (butter chicken) and it was fantastic. Your food comes out super quickly - it came out before my boyfriend had time to finish using the bathroom. They've clearly got the process down pat here and it's really impressive. Granted, there was no way I was going to be able to eat all that food, but I made a pretty impressive dent in it. Hands down one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Boulder (especially for lunch as I typically leave with leftovers if I pace myself). The atmosphere here is casual and comfortable. It's a super spot to grab some grub after a climbing session at Movement Gym. I'd also like to add that I've never received any strange looks even with climbing chalk marks on my clothes. The staff is pretty friendly (one time I was discouraged from ordering my food extra extra hot as it was more expensive for them. They recommended that I add my own spice (chili powder is what I think they said). This totally took me aback as super hot Indian food is my absolute favorite. Needless to day It took several months for me to come back. Bottom line for me is that the lunch/dinner specials are convenient and well priced. There's actually a really good Indian place in Louisville. Food quality: poor. The dinner platter is half rice, heated up naan, and watery dal. I ordered #3 (chicken), and it wasn't anything special. I generally like Indian food because of the vibrant, flesh flavors, but our dishes seemed to lack any care to them. Service: okay. My friends rave about this place but I thought it was only ok. I think they like it because it's pretty cheap Indian food, the portions are big (had it for lunch and didn't have a need for dinner because I was full for so long), and each dish comes with so many sides and tastes - kind of reminds of Indian version of kimchi. My friend said the only thing she doesn't like about this place is that the naan is inconsistent. Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's just ok. Basamati rice, some jam-like sauce, pineapple, and naan is included with your curry. The curry is not as soupy and creamy as I like - wish there was more sauce so I could overload my naan and rice in it. You can either choose form the daily special posted on the chalk board up front at $7.95 which includes your choice of entrée (there were quite a few to choose from) along with veggie samosa, naan, boiled basmati rice, green & red chutney & fruit or look at the menu & take your pick from there. Our orders included: Meat samosas $3.00 (made of lamb, seasoned just right, a crispier crust would have been just perfect) 2 picks from the daily special which included Chicken Makhni & Chicken Kabab. Chicken Makhni was good, not too hot or too mild. Definitely comparable to the stuff I make at home) Chicken kababs were boneless chicken chunks seasoned & cooked just right. Veggie samosas were mild but good, green chutney was medium spicy & the red sweet chutney was good too. Seekh Kababs $10.00 which came with naan & rice were also made of lamb & served cut up into bite size pieces with green peppers & onions. 2 Mango lassis at $2.50 each.
