When she finished, I said "hi" again and was just about to say "excuse me" when she suddenly stepped away and told me not to stand so close to her. I was honestly shocked because it was a very loud environment, and I was still about one person's distance away from her. Another customer nearby also looked completely surprised by her reaction. What upset me the most is that I was being polite and respectful the entire time and was simply trying to ask for help. I never intended to invade her personal space, and if she felt uncomfortable, she could have simply asked me to step back. Instead, the way she reacted made me feel singled out, embarrassed, and extremely uncomfortable, especially because I had done nothing disrespectful toward her. I cannot say for certain what her reason was, but the way I was treated made me feel that I was being treated differently and unfairly, and it honestly made me question whether I was being discriminated against. I understand that employees may have difficult days, but customers still deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I left very upset and disappointed by this experience.

If you are financially not in the good place, I don't recommend playing crane games. Most of my experiences with the smaller crane game, where only one item is placed in the platform, is friendlier. Friendlier I mean that it usually takes me 1-5 tries to get the prize. The larger the item, the more tokens it takes. For the case with these crane machines, if the item moves in an area that makes it impossible for the crane to reach, you can find a staff member, and they will move the item back to the original spot. Items in the crane machines are generally cute, and also tend to lean towards recently trending anime series. Occasionally, they offer collaborations with other series, so it's fun. This Round1 contains half of the room with crane games and arcade games, and then the remaining half contains bowling and eating area. Recently, within the arcade area, they added 3 rows of gatchapon machines. I played at the bowling alley once, but I think I'm just naturally more entertained with arcade and crane games. On weekends, the arcade side is bustling with rhythm game players in groups, and it's a joy to see them playing together. I was happy to see the Taiko game and Dance Dance Revolutions games to play some songs. I was impressed with the Taiko game; it updated with recently new songs from Japan. Recently discovered coin push games at Round1. I never was attracted to this type of arcade game, but there was one machine that combined RPG battling style.
