I give Seniores Pizza a 5 star because I am the longest 30+ years and almost closed to 40+ years customer services is always makes me #1 for them I always get combo Pizza and a lot of extra toppings and with a family deal and the guy is always nice to me because I respect them so much with positive attitude... Made an order for pick up. Went to pick it up and by the time I got home, I opened the order and it was literally half of what I ordered. Called them back guy on the phone apologized and said he gave me the wrong order and said he would credit me for a future order. Given that it was late I agreed. The guy said to just give my phone number and that the issue would be resolved. Next time I called in. Just called back to take him up on that. New guy picks up, is clearly annoyed at the request. Asked me 10 different times if I remember the guys name. This was two months ago so of course I don't. He refuses to look up. My phone number gives me grief and completely brushes me off over a nine dollar order. When clearly it's not my fault it's theirs that their system is messed up. I've been eating at the restaurant for 10+ years now. Why the hell would I make a big giant fuss about a nine dollar item? All I wanted was a make good on something. Over the years, I've passed by Seniores Pizza more times than I could ever possibly count. However, in spite of that, as well as how often some of my friends used to stop by after a night of clubbing/bar hopping, I can actually count the number of times I've been here on a single hand. The first few came at the end of those aforementioned types of nights and, if I had written a review then, they probably would've led to a mostly positive review. However, coming here stone cold sober? Still positive, albeit a bit more measured and muted. Back when they first opened, Seniores started off as a small, hole-in-the-wall spot, but they've since expanded into the neighboring space and added a lot more seating. Similarly, their menu has evolved and grown as well. Obviously, pizza has always been the name of the game here (they have over a dozen combinations by the slice or pie), but my friend mentioned that they used to have fried chicken as one of their main offerings as well. Now, it's a bit more typical of a pizzeria with some unexpected items, ranging from a mix of chicken wings, fried snacks, pastas, salads and sandwiches to burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes, and even fish & chips. -- SENIORES COMBO with Pepperoni, Mushroom, Salami, Sausage, Onions, Tomatoes, and Bell Peppers...$6 A pretty decent take on a pretty classic combination pizza. On the plus side, this wasn't light on toppings and there were three different meats with a good variety of veggies. However, the center part of the pie felt short on cheese and I wasn't a huge fan of the red sauce. -- PESTO CHICKEN with Chicken and Pesto Sauce...$5.50 This has long been my friend's go-to order and I'm sure she'll be happy to hear it's as good as the first time I had it years and years ago. There is a fair amount of chicken on this and they don't skimp on the amount of pesto sauce in this either. Across every type of pizza that I've had at Seniores (I also tried a slice of their pepperoni years ago), the thing that I like most about them is how large they've all been. At practically twice the size of most slices I've had elsewhere, you definitely get your money's worth here. As for the dough/crust, it's decent, but, admittedly, it's also no my preferred style. While it's not bland and bready as others I've come across, I do wish it had a bit more flavor to it and was a little thinner with a softer chew. Considering how I don't hit the bars and clubs anywhere close to as often as I used to (not that I ever really did in the first place), I don't have nearly as many reasons to come back here as I used to. What's more, I'm not even sure if they still keep the same late night hours that they did before (Yelp says they close at 11pm, but their site and Google list 1am Sun-Thurs and 3am on Friday and Saturday nights). Love Seniores Pizza! This is my first time dining in. My order was the Seniore's Burger Special $14. The service was excellent. The young man behind the counter was helpful. They don't have complimentary water if you dine in but bottled water is available for a charge. You can also order via ipad. They were busy on a Saturday night and my burger took over 20 minutes to come out. They serve it via to-go containers even though I told him it was dine-in. So, not a great place to bring a date. The patty was dry. At least it comes with a lot of ketchup and mayo packets to make this edible. My mouth was really dry from the lack of water. Fries were good. The Seniore's Burger didn't come with the usual burger stuff like lettuce, tomatoes or onions, instead it had grilled mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. I was in SF and thought I'd give this location a try and was beyond disappointed. I'm writing this review because I know this place has potential to be good and it's clear quality control needs to be evaluated by manager/ owner. Oof, a classic from back in my days, the college days! This is most definitely an SF staple for the west side of the City; SF State students, families and all others living on this part of SF. I recently ordered from DoorDash and was 100% satisfied with my meal. I got the Seniore's Special in small with a side of ranch and it being the City, price was higher for a small pie, ran me about $30 for the 2 items. Nonetheless, it did not disappoint! My daughter and I were so hungry and was confused when we heard my husband order us a slice each, then we saw how BIG the slices were! You beat a slice of pizza as big as both my hands for $5 and it taste good. We wanted to order wings and fries but they were so back up on orders, that we were told it would take 20-30min before we would get it, so we stuck with pizza. 20 years I've been eating here. Tonight was the last time. Their new automated phone system is horrible, it can't understand a simple order. I didn't receive a txt to confirm my order or get pick up time. After 15 mins I Called. And asked to talk to a person, to get my order status. Automated system put me through to a person. The person hung up when I asked about order status. I called back, asked to talk to person, it would ring once then get sent back to automated system. I repeated this for two mins. The person in the store kept sending my call back to automated service . Then they hung up again. I called back again and got hung up on the first time the call was sent to real person. If you're stopping by for a slice, here's a tip from someone who's given this place way too many chances. Stick with cheese, maybe pepperoni. It'll be decent for what it is. That is what they have available - cheese pizza, with toppings they'll add to order. If you order any other kind, they will place toppings on top of the cheese pizza they have waiting - generously, I'll give them that - and then sprinkle that whole mess with more cheese to sandwich all those toppings on. It's heated and served and what you get is a rather unappetizing mess, with cold toppings in the center of this fat pie of a slice. When you open up all that cheese with a bite, you might get a gush of water, from the thawed frozen veggies under the cheese blanket Three stars bc their actual, freshly made whole specialty pies can be good, made properly..perhaps only if your family nostalgically loves them, but really they're worth a try if you live somewhere in delivery radius. This place is a good late night snack in the Sunset neighborhood. The place is a little quiet and definitely a place to chill and hangout but can seem a little sketchy depending on the time of day. Got an extra large meat lovers pizza which was pretty expensive, so I would recommend using a discount if there are any. It was fairly standard pizza nothing too standout and the crust is really thick but not undercooked thankfully. The service is a little bland and matches that of a fast food chain.
