The Eagle Special was delicious. We came in Sunday for an early dinner and were not disappointed. Three of us polished a large pizza. We got it thin crust style and it was perfectly baked without being too thin. So much for leftovers we were hoping for but that's fine. Service was good. Always enjoy coming here. Neighborhood locals have told me that they make a solid pie for years. Coming to this block on a regular basis (weekly), I never tried their food. Until now. I decided to order our Saturday family dinner from here, placing a phone order shortly after they opened. I asked for a 5:30 pm pickup so the pie would still be warm when I got home. I wandered towards the back, looking for the cashier counter. Two ladies manning the front asked me how they could help me. I gave them my name and pickup time and was told my food was almost ready. I waited to the left by the large TV screen showing the Dodger Giants game. A short while later, a young guy brought my food out and took my credit card after asking whether I needed cheese and pepper packets (yes, please). In less than a minute, I was walking to my car. The fresh pesto sauce balanced well with the tangy bbq chicken, I would give 4.5 stars. The other pizza was solid, but nothing extraordinary. I really wanted to like this small business but the pizza we had which was a combination pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, onions etc just didn't taste all that good. The sauce and cheese were kind of bland and no one wanted to eat the crust. We were the only ones there for takeout and had a fairly long wait. Service is friendly IF they know you. This is the pizza restaurant for team building, gathering or celebration for all the schools in the area especially for the sport teams. I am here every couple of months for my kids sports gathering. You got to call ahead and reserve for large groups ( especially right after the sport season). There's many times we were there with other school's team kids. So it will get really loud,crazy and crowded with especially grade school kids. The owner and servers are very welcoming and patient with all the excited kids in the restaurant. The speed of serving food can get delayed quite a bit due to full house and still ongoing outside orders. My family ordered the antipasto salad, eagle special pizza, and a half cheese half pepper pizza. The salad was good and all the ingredients were fresh. I really liked the eagle pizza. It had good flavor and the crust was nice and crispy! My kid loved her half half pizza! The bill for was $70 for the two medium pizzas and a salad. Got pizza here after a long hiatus. We used to come here a lot with school friends when my kids were in elementary school. It's a family business and I always remembered how tolerant of noisy little kids the owners were. They were always nice, and understanding. But the kids grew up and we just haven't been back in awhile. But my elderly mom requested we bring pizza over, so we remembered this place. Great decision! Super good pizza then, and super good pizza now! What to say except, just delicious. And beautifully presented, it was so pretty if anyone has ever called pizza beautiful before! I had the meat ball sandwich. It's how I determine if the food in a place is going to be good. If they can't do a meatball sandwich right the rest of the food won't be very good. It was very good. I could taste the savory meatballs through the simmered and slightly tart sauce. The cheese was melted but not napalm hot. I talked to Amy for a couple hours on a slow night. Hadn't seen her in over 25 years and that was 2,000 miles away from the Eagle Pizzeria. The food was great, the conversation was great and the service was excellent. Amy E - comes with sausage, jalapeños, mushrooms and onion This was my favorite out of the two choices we got. The jalapeños add a spicy kick to the pizza and the onions give it crunch. The sausage also gives it flavor, but it wasn't too salty which I like. Meat lovers - comes with pepperoni, ham, and sausage If you love protein, you're going to love this one. The ham was really tasty and juicy. Not as flavorful as the Amy E pizza but still a good pizza. Usually I don't eat the crust but it was enjoyable on both pizzas. I ate three slices and finished the crust for each slice. The crust was perfect -- crunchy to perfection and not hard. Service was great. The owner asked and made sure we were doing alright, but of course we were... everything tasted delicious so how can we complain? We were honestly extremely impressed and satisfied. And seeing inconstancy of each location. I always would get a Hawaiian mixed with something else at each location. During Father's day I got the 2 topping pizza with ham and pineapples. This tasted pretty good and I could taste a hint of sourdough in the breading. So a few days later had funeral services earlier that day so decided to get pizza for a simple dinner. Got a few combination of stuff and ordered their Hawaiian instead of the 2 item pizza. Their Hawaiian had bell peppers which gave it a weird taste.
