    Birthday party decorations

Monza was the perfect place for a little pizza party birthday lunch! The food was tasty and well priced. The staff were super friendly and nice. We placed the order the day before and came in the decorate 15 minutes before guests arrived! Food was ready just as the kids say down. Super easy! We'll be back!

Randomly stumbled upon this place and it was sooooo good. We were SHOCKED opening the box because we didn't know the slices were going to be huge! Pizza was made to order so you knew it was fresh fresh. Customer service was great. Cute little hole in the wall type of place. We will definitely be back!

My second time trying their pizza. It was much better the first time. We ordered a clam and garlic which I thought tasted the best of the 2. The second pizza was Hawaiian. I didn't like this one because the pineapples were canned of course and the Canadian bacon had the gasoline smoked taste to it. The crust was about 1/2 inch thick in the center, more bread tasting than thin crispy. Hubby thought the pies weren't bad and Jr Yelper preferred the clam and garlic pie of the 2. Maybe we need to stick with the traditional toppings next time.

This pizza shop is tucked away...fun old style..San Francisco pizza! I have spent much time in San Diego and Los Angeles..San Francisco is a old nook for the books...records...like Guinness world records for pizza and more! They posted a Youtube page...sincere and fun! Nice to visit Ocean Ave...it wasn't old times..it was new times..and eventually...still a tourist!

It was cool until it wasn't... LONG STORY SHORT SALES TAX IS 18.25% HERE! Paid cash the last few times and noticed that the "math wasn't mathing"??... XL pizza @23.15+$3.50/topping= $31.58??ok? The next time 2 XL+ $3.50= $68.00?? So I called and asked what their sales tax was- she told me 10.25%... I figured I don't get the memo about sales tax increasing? ??? And even so, the math still wasn't "mathing"? They also have a sign at the register that clearly states 5% off if you pay cash... For the benefit of the doubt, I double checked and sales tax is still 8.63% in SF- but if you add 10% to that, then- the math is mathing!!! Not sure what percentage that 5% is subtracted from or when, but if they gave me that discount then they're taxing upwards of 20%! At the very least they could warn people that they're charging 18+% (for whatever supposed reason-but they don't). It's the kind of unethical practices that lead to short lived success for a business.

I order often from Monza Pizza. The past couple of times the bottom of the pizza was burnt and all that was tasted was the charred crust. All future orders I request that the crust is not burnt. Today I placed an order AGAIN and the crust was burnt. I was unable to enjoy the pizza itself because it was charred. I contacted the owner he stated in order to meet the requirements for cooked meat the result is burnt crust. I have to now part from Monzo Pizza. :-(

How could I have never reviewed them?! I love pizza, and this place feeds my love. They have a great lunch special that includes a salad and drink for $11 +tax. The slice is HUGE. I can eat it in two sittings. The crust is crispy and the sauce is rich and just the right amount of garlic. They have an extensive menu with pastas, sandwiches and salads. I've yet to try anything but pizza, but I fully intend on it. They're on a quiet part of Ocean Ave. so it never seems to be too busy, but it seems that they have a good take out customer base. I love them for my lunches at work and enjoy the extra pizza I get to enjoy at the end of the day.

No frills pizza spot in Ingleside. Ordered pizza here several times now and it's always been good, can't speak on the other items though. We usually get the monza which is the combo, or half n half of monza and something else. Ratio of toppings, cheese, and pizza dough are good here. Free delivery within range.

I confirmed the reservation twice, once online and then they called me 30 minutes prior to confirm again. Unfortunately, I do think they gave away part of our sections seating because even though my entire party arrived on time, they could not seat us until 30 minutes after our reservation time. They did however compensate us with some appetizers which was appreciated. Overall, it is difficult to serve such a large party so I give them credit but it was a bit chaotic, not taking everyone's drink order, not bringing silverware with meals, etc. For the most part, they were able to bring out everyone's main meal at the same time, and the food is fairly good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their mains, but I would say it's pretty standard for Mexican. The drinks are excellent though, I got the coconut rum drink. We also brought a cake which they placed a large sparkler candle in which was fun! The ambiance on the inside is nice low lighting with an open kitchen, so visually very nice! Overall it was good and the staff were nice but I wouldn't be motivated to come back here any time soon.

We started off with the beet salad and warm focaccia with olive oil, garlic, and balsamic vinegar. The combination of hot bread with sweet, cool beets was a perfect contrast. The beets were perfectly cooked and came with crunchy, candied pecans over a light bed of whipped ricotta. I could not get enough, especially of the candied pecans. The focaccia was perfectly cooked and super light and fluffy. You can tell that the olive oil and balsamic vinegar are of the highest quality and the dip paired so well with the bread. For our mains, my husband got the rigatoni while I got the gnocchi carbonara (at the waiter's suggestion). Both of us were extremely happy with our choices. I'm used to getting gnocchi dishes that are super dense and doughy but in this dish, it was melting in your mouth. The infusion of the duck flavors really came through in the sauce and you had crispy meat sprinkled on top as well to give a contrasting texture to the rest of the dish. The rigatoni came with a couple of meatballs and sausages that you can tell are freshly made in house as they were tender and flavorful. The marinara sauce had a hint of sweetness with the tartness of the tomato sauce to balance it out. The pasta might have been a hair undercooked but it didn't make the dish any less delicious. For dessert, we ended with a chocolate tiramisu - a bed of moist, chocolate cake with a layer of coffee cream and cream on top, it was a delicious twist on the classic dish. We both agreed that we can't wait for our next visit back to Ofena!

(There's a outdoor pirate themed play area across the street which my kids enjoyed before dinner). The inside is modern but sparse, with three cozy dining dining rooms with a lovely full bar in the center room. Service was wonderful and the manager warmly greeted us with champagne for having happened to be there on their 2 year anniversary. It's not often these days that I find everything on the menu intriguing but we definitely had trouble deciding on what to pick from. What I ended up loving the most were the "sides" which were main dishes in and of themselves in terms of how much flavor was packed into them! For example, the Gigante Beans were so delicious that we tried to replicate them at home the following week. I loved how colorful and tasty the Squash Cabonata side was. Also loved the Pea and Asparagus salad which was beautifully plated, well-textured dish-- I liked that they were small bite sized cuts of crispy asparagus, and sprinkled with some pea shoots. The Gnocchi Carbonara, Saffron Risotto dish, and the polenta side were all very tasty, but I think it was an error to order all three since they were all a bit creamy/heavy. Overall a wonderful spot for dinner!

Every part of dinner further solidified Memento's status as a one-and-done deal. The mocktail we ordered was so syrupy thick, it needed watering down before we could drink it. Paella with sausage had a thin layer of crisp rice. Oddly enough, the tomatoey elements coupled with the type of sausage used reminded me of pizza. My bf reported that the steak in his surf & turf was undercooked & had a "funny" flavor. 'Nough said.
