Fast casual Indian food. The service attendant at the counter was very nice. The food is good and the prices are great. It's a good option for a quick bite.

I've been to Curry Up Now in Alpharetta, so decided to check out this Madison Yards location. There's free parking in the deck next door. It's fast casual, so we placed our orders at the counter before seating ourselves. The inside was very clean and had tons of space and seating. For 3 people, we went family-style and split the samosa chaat, 1 burnt chili garlic naan, pani puri, chicken 69, and vada pav. The food came out super fast which I appreciated! The samosa chaat was pretty flavorful, although I do prefer having the samosas already broken up and mixed. The naan was a little dry and not as fluffy as I would have liked. The pani puri was delicious and I loved the flavor of the vada pav and the buttery pav! The highlight of the meal though was the chicken 69. Hands down some of the best chicken 65 takes I've had. It was flavorful and had a great crunch on the breading. Overall, love both locations I've been to and can't wait to try more off the menu!

Curry Up is a cute little spot in Madison Yards and I have been past it so many times but never noticed it until we decided to come in for dinner! Really casual spot so walked right up to order and sat down easily We opted to share (3 people) just a bunch of the entrees! And they were are all delish. The disappointing one was the naan, I've just had better but the star was the chicken 69 like that was just so good. It's a great a place to get a bunch of things and share a delicious meal.

I was greeted by a friendly gentlemen who helped me navigate the menu. The restaurant was extremely clean and nicely decorated. I decided to order the tikka masala bowl with garlic naan and chickpeas. I waited about 10 mins for my to-go order. The food was the perfect temperature and the chicken and chickpeas were perfectly seasoned. The rice was a little on the bland side but the tikka sauce made up for that. The meal comes with mango chutney which was pretty good however, I didn't know what exactly it was suppose to be used on. I really enjoyed this spot and can't wait to try one of their burritos next time.

We came by here before a concert at the Eastern since it's such a short walk and this place seemed to be a quick and easy meal The food was great, portions are just right sized so you're content but not too full! We got the chicken Tikka bowl, galab jamun & chicken 69. The bowl & chicken 69 were excellent deals. The galab jamun was good but at $2/piece, I thought it was a bit pricey If we were staying longer, I'd definitely have gotten some mango lassi or stubborn soda though! The bowl comes with a choice of chick peas or lentils and we got lentils. The whole thing was good, the rice paired perfectly and had just enough seasoning. The chicken 69 was super crispy and juicy and the onions/lemon a perfect contrast. They have a good bit of seating but not many tables you could push together. It's counter service but they do bus the table when you leave and bring it to you. They have a little outdoor seating & service was quick. We parked at Atlanta dairies and walked over. Would come here again before a concert

Lots of indoor seating. There's patio seating as well!

This is my second time here, and I loved it. The employees are so kind. I knew what I wanted, but the cashier explained how I could customize my meal and what other people get, too. After I ordered, I overheard him answering questions and helping other customers decide what to order. I sooo appreciate that because it can be intimidating to order new cuisines, especially if no one explains it to you. I ordered the lamb plate with a side of chickpeas and rice. It was delicious! It could've been a bit warmer, though. The portion size was good, and the flavors were definitely there. You also get a side of naan, but I opted out this time. Back to the customer service--they were running a bit behind, presumably because they are understaffed, like many restaurants. The cashier thanked each customer for their patience and apologized for the wait. He also had great eye contact, which might sound weird lol, but I really appreciate when people look me in the eye while they're speaking to me lol. If you want to try out some delicious Indian street food, this is your place!

My visit to Curry up now was my first introduction to Indian food. Granted, it's not fully authentic but, it was a great way to ease into the cuisine. It was decided spur of the moment to stop here so, I didn't have time to do my research on the menu and what each item was. Therefore, I spent a little more time than usual in line reading the Board. In the end, I figured it was just rice, sauce,, lentils and a meat...just pick one. So, I chose the Lamb Keema and fried ravioli. Everything was extremely tasty!! Full of flavor with just enough spice I could tolerate. I would definitely call my meal a comfort meal.

I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

La Semilla is a chic, pan-Latin vegan spot…read more The menu emphasizes replicating non-vegan flavors and taste profiles more than it leans in to offerings that are already vegetable forward. For example, guacamole is conspicuously absent from the menu. In its place, you'll find a creamy (still vegan) Queso Blanco. That's a bold choice, but the dupe delivers. My favorite taste dupe, however, is the crunch wrap. It is spot on. It tastes identical to the much more famous, much less vegan version.

My order was ready on-time. Parking is ample in a private lot and the process of getting your order via pick-up was so easy. I felt the heft of the food in the bag immediately when I pick it up to deliver up out of it the deliciousness of everything inside. It felt like a heavy plate from the cookout or from Grandma's house after Sunday dinner. This is true food for the soul. I loved the sweet potatoes. I loved the mac and cheese. I loved, loved, LOVED the vegan chicken-like protein. I felt in love with it and the hot sauce that came with it. I was not a fan, in particular, of the collard greens--not because they lacked meat seasoning. They were a little too spicy for my liking. Otherwise, this is good food. It is Black-owned and-operated to my knowledge. Support, eat vegan, and be ye healthy.

I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. I highly recommend! I usually order ahead of time and come to pick it up because service is slow. Online, it will say your order is ready in 10-15 minutes, but that is not true. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance).
