I found this place earlier on in the year when they appeared on the best of clark county for dog boarding. We scheduled a tour a few days later. It was clean & is a smaller boarding facility which we liked as they'd probably have an easier time keeping track of all the dogs. Although on the higher end for dog boarding pricing, we decided to book with them. Fast forward to months later when it was time to drop off our dog. It was a smooth process & they double checked the dates & feeding schedule & we were off. We were told that she'd get to play with a few of the dogs & we told them she's really friendly & would love that. That was a nice surprise as I didn't realize they did that there. Our first day back home, they called to ask us if we wanted to add on the 1on1 play time service, so that our puppy could get out some of her energy. I agreed as she'd be there for a while. Pick up was smooth as well. We had missed the early morning pick up window, so we went during the late afternoon one. When she came out, she looked like she had a great time! She even got a visit from santa. It was adorable, she had a stocking with here name on it. It made us so happy as this was her first Christmas. Everyone we spoke with there were really nice & always open to answer questions. We were even told we could call & check up on her, which we didn't do. Although priced on the higher end & I did see they raised their prices again this year, I liked how they don't charge an extra day if not picked up by a certain time. I called to make sure as I know most places do that. They only charge by the day, so As long as they are picked up & dropped off during the windows listed on their site, you're good. We will be using them for shorter stays in the future.

We have been loyal clients of Mountain View Stay & Play for over six years, bringing both of our…read moredogs there since they were puppies. During that time, we've always had positive experiences, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. The night before a scheduled boarding stay, one of our dogs had an unexpected accident that required staples and medication. As soon as Mountain View Stay & Play opened the next morning, my wife called to explain the situation and ask what accommodations would be needed. We were informed by the assistant manager that because they are not a medical boarding facility, they could not accept dogs with active stitches or staples. We completely understood and appreciated them being upfront, so we made other arrangements. Since they were unable to board our dog due to their policy, we assumed our deposit would be refunded. When I called to cancel another upcoming reservation because the staples still wouldn't be removed by then, they immediately refunded that deposit. However, when I asked about the original stay, I was told they needed to speak with management. The following day, the manager, Savannah, called and informed me they would not be refunding the deposit because we "cancelled the day of." I explained that we hadn't simply changed our minds--we had every intention of boarding our dogs until we were told they could not be accepted because of their medical policy. The accident happened the night before, making it impossible to provide 48 hours' notice, and we contacted them as soon as they opened. What disappointed me most wasn't the policy itself--it was the lack of flexibility and customer service after six years of loyalty. I understand policies exist, but there should be room for reasonable exceptions when a long-time customer experiences an unforeseen emergency. Even if a refund truly wasn't possible because of "system limitations," there were countless other ways to make it right, such as a credit toward a future stay, a complimentary night, or another goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, during my conversation with Savannah, I was interrupted several times while trying to explain the situation, and the discussion repeatedly came back to "system limitations" rather than finding a customer-focused solution. It's unfortunate that after more than six years of trusting Mountain View Stay & Play with our dogs, our relationship ended over a situation that was completely outside of our control. We expected more understanding and flexibility from a business we had supported for so many years. Because of how this was handled, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

She also took time to explain how Mack's daily life should look at home to help set us up for success. Thank you Grace at the battground location. Mack really did not like men and even would try to nip them as they walked by. He was afraid of the world and even though we took him everywhere since he was a puppy he was so fearful of everything. Yesterday we took him to a tap house we frequent and in the past Mack would hide behind us and not let any strangers touch him. Yesterday he let everyone say hi and even approached men to get pets on his own. Today on our walk he walked with confidence and was not fearful and we both strolled with confidence and ease. Yesterday I already suggested Enzo's to two people who were very impressed with Mack as other dogs were barking and he just hung out unbothered. We cannot thank you enough and we look forward to Mack's increased confidence and his example out and about of what Enzo's can do!

If I didn't, she would bolt out of the house and it would become humans herding the herding dog. She would almost always trip me when taking her for a walk and there was one time she took off and pulled the lead out of my hand and almost got hit by a car. In the house, she targeted and chased my cats. I was hoping being a puppy, she would adapt as she grew with them.... Boy, I was wrong. I was telling my frustrations with the above to a coworker one afternoon. He told me of Jill at Countryside Kennels and what they did for his 2 Dobermans 10 years ago. He said that he took 2 unruly dogs down to them, left them for 4 weeks, picked them up after a few hours of training the humans. He said that his family got back perfect dogs. I got their number from my coworker and reached out to Countryside. I talked with Erin for more specifics. I wanted to see if they still professionally trained dogs since 10 years ago was a long time. She explained everything to me and what was expected. I was very happy with what they had to offer so decided to go for it. They were already booked out into March 2019 but Erin offered to put me on a cancellation list. A month went by and I got a call asking if I would like to take her to them the beginning of December 2018. I jumped on it! What I got back is a loving dog who has major self-control! I have no problems with her running off... or even going through a door without permission. The best part is at dinner time, I say Mindi go to your bed... she goes and I tell her to stay while we cook dinner and eat. This can take an hour to an hour and a half or so. Mindi stays put and she is a real good and loving puppy that likes to keep us happy. Jill warned me that she may still be nasty to the cats... I am pleased to say that they can co-exist in the same room with my cats! She is much more obedient...... I mean She is now obedient! She was not before. Thanks so much Jill and Erin! When my husband picked her up they took time to go through all of the commands with him until he was comfortable. They answered all of his questions. We referred another friend from Sacramento and he took his male lab to them. He was extremely happy with his results as well. Will take any future dogs here!

Then I heard a lady, who I assume to be the manager here, screaming and berating an employee (who told me they were the only one on staff today for 25 dogs) for not being able to be everywhere at once and for a mistake that management had made with kennel labels. She was loud enough to hear everything, which is scary! 25 dogs for a single person to manage already made me uneasy, so I hung up without trying to schedule a drop off. Talked about it with friend who has boarded their dog here before. Ever since he got a promotion at work and started leaving their dog here, he has become overly aggressive, skittish around both other dogs and people, and has started to refuse to eat the food he has been eating for years. He told me that several times his dog came home with BITE MARKS on him! Bite marks! DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR DOG!!!! This place is not well run or appropriately managed at all. They don't staff enough people to make sure the dogs are safe and not stressed while out in the yard, they do not treat their employees like people and overload them, and according to my friend, they do not keep their records straight enough to give your dog the correct food that you dropped off for them. The manager doesn't seem to know how fo handle staffing or taking care of their charges at all; only reason this business gets 2 stars is because the staff seem to genuinely care and do their best with what they can reasonably handle.

I called and left a message letting them know because now all your dogs have been exposed as well. One week later and I haven't heard a word. I also don't like that the girl walking around with the dogs doesn't interact with the dogs, even though they'd come to her with their tails wagging. How can you be in a room full of dogs and not at least pet them? I'm sure the constant barking is annoying, but to total ignore 12 dogs seems heartless to me. I watched the two hours my dog was there and not one pet. The cameras are constantly dropping the feed and you have to go back to the home page and select the camera again (maybe she petted the dogs then!). On my laptop I could get the feed to even load using chrome or safari. I could only access from my phone. Overall, very disappointing. Get your dogs tested for giardia.

We had a vacation planned for this week over new years, but had to cancel last minute. We had no warning, and my wife asked me to call Tiny's since she couldn't stop crying. I called Tiny's within 20 minutes of us finding out. I was apologetic. My voice was shaking because I was pretty disappointed too. I explained the situation and said that I was very sorry, I understood we wouldn't get our $150 deposit back and again, I'm very sorry. Denise at Tiny's was very quiet through the whole interaction, at the end all she said was "I'm sorry to hear about your trip" Two minutes later I hear my wife burst out sobbing again. They sent her a text message letting us know that they no longer wanted us as clients. If I had known, or Denise given any indication on the phone I would have tried to make it right. I probably would have paid the whole amount because Tiny's is convenient and we've enjoyed patronizing their business. There was no warning, Denise decided to punch my wife in the stomach over a lost $450 after keeping our deposit, while we were in the middle of cancelling 12k worth of reservations. I would have been totally fine with paying ahead of time, we've spent a lot of money there, but instead of discussing financial impact, expressing any displeasure whatsoever, or giving us a chance to repair the relationship, Denise retaliated viciously. She had the opportunity to discuss any concerns with me on the phone, but decided instead to text my crying wife. I have advocated for this business, I have suggested it to friends. I regret that, because they clearly have zero respect for their customers. Denise made a terrible day worse with zero thought for her customers. Denise told us to get lost during our worst day in recent memory with no remorse. I will not be patronizing this business further, and I hope anyone reading this takes their behavior into consideration before doing business with Denise. She may care about cats, but clearly doesn't care about customers.
