    Roasted Duck with Orange Tamarind

Lemon Grass is great for a fancy date night or just because you feel like treating yourself. The atmosphere is elegant, and the service is very attentive. I felt like portions were generous in comparison to other similar style establishments, and the roasted duck was delicious.

Lemongrass is a beautiful restaurant! I went on a cold Friday evening, but the restaurant was well lit, warm, and had a pianist playing by the door. I was with a large party and the staff did a spectacular job splitting up the tables in sections so it was not all one server's responsibility. I tasted the House Spring Rolls after a friend had one left over. Now, I always love a spring roll, but I did not care for the filling or taste of theirs. Maybe just because it's supposed to be an elevated spring roll? Not sure. I ordered the salmon with the seasonal vegetable which was green beans. The salmon was seasoned well and cooked to perfection, for me! The green beans were undercooked but had a good flavor with garlic butter and seasoning. The mashed potatoes also left more to be desired. I wish they were lighter, whipped more, and not as bland as they were. The Moscow mule that I ordered tasted like a classic mule so that was great. Overall, I felt pretty neutral about my experience. I thought the venue was beautiful (and larger than expected as the restaurant continues to go back with a separate party area), but I did feel like it was a bit overpriced. I see that they're going for an elevated experience, and I do look forward to giving it another try and ordering something different. I still suggest checking it out for a nice night out.

Dined at Lemongrass on 12/4/25 before seeing Wicked at the Landmark. I always request Charles, he takes good care of us and makes sure we head out in time for the show! I enjoyed the squash bisque (fabulous, no pic), then shared the whole sea bass entree with my companion. It's brought to the table then cut and served. Perfect for two. Crispy skin, moist meat, delicious flavor! For dessert, the sorbet basket was the perfect ending. Four small scoops of the season's flavors! Thanks for another great evening, Charles!

It had a great experience at Lemongrass restaurant. We had reservations so we didn't wait at all. We shared the chicken satay. I ordered the roasted duck with orange tamarind which I think everyone should try . It was delicious, packed of flavor. The asparagus were tasty too. My lady bug had the Pangang curry with short rib and it looked amazing

The staff were all friendly. The restaurant was beautiful. Clean environment. Street parking. They had a decent selection of food and beverage items. The food was a nice Thai inspired or Thai fusion restaurant.

Had a delicious Monday night dinner at Lemon Grass. They are extremely accommodating of a large party. We had a private dining room and restroom for our 20 person party. We started with calamari, vegan dumplings, spring rolls, and fried cauliflower. I had the Filet with Massaman as an entree and the warm chocolate cake for dessert. Everything on the menu is amazing, you can't go wrong!

Easily the best Calimari I've ever had. So good. The service was great. I can't rememeber the servers name but she was the perfect blend of entertaining, attentive, and knew when to give us time to have conversation (business dinner). The setting was comfortable. The food was all delicious.

Seated a large party for business trip, fast and attentive service. Food phenomenal! Oysters fresh, deserts perfectly crafted. Always can count on a great time here.

This was my second time here, and I came for Downtown Dining Week. Personally, I think it's one of the best spots downtown; however, it's on the pricey side. I ordered the lobster dip as my appetizer, the salad with peanut dressing, and the gra pow with shrimp. I asked for my main dish with a few more long peppers. In my opinion, it could have been a bit spicier. Butttttt...I learned last year when I ordered my green curry extra spicy that they do not play!!! There was an unbelievable amount of long hots and then chili peppers on top. I think I drank probably 2 gallons of water (see picture for evidence--I rarely say anything is too spicy). My friend and I shared the raspberry tart for dessert. It's not included, but the desserts here are truly spectacular. Service is always top notch and the vibe is upscale, yet casual.

I found myself at Lemon Grass during my weekend in Syracuse visiting some of my college friends. I haven't been to Syracuse since 2017, and am not familiar with the food scene in the city. That being said, I let my friends have free reign as to where to go to eat - and they suggested here since it's a favorite spot of theirs. Lemon Grass is located in downtown Syracuse, among a number of other businesses in the area. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived, and from what I gathered from initial impressions this space attracted both bar patrons and diners. The restaurant is large - there's a spacious front room what contains the bar and some tables and it then gives way to another room in the back with more tables (this is where we were seated). The back room had a partition set up to accommodate a private party - but even with this it was ultra roomy (I think one of my friends said the restaurant inconspicuously takes up the length of the block it's on). The decor was somewhat modern with Earth tones, colored accents on the wall, and mellow live music playing. Even with this, the space wasn't warm - I think it had to do with the sheer size of the space, it just didn't land well for me. The menu mainly contained Thai dishes, though there was also a small selection of American fare as well. There were a *lot* of specials, but our server did an amazing job remembering them and had no problem repeating items or answering any questions we had. The majority of the dishes were flavor combinations that you paired with a protein of your choice with an emphasis on different curries. We started with a drink - they have a full bar selection as well as some seasonal cocktails. I had a ginger-based cocktail which had good flavor. Before mains, we decided to start with some apps: spring rolls and shrimp dumplings. Both were good - lots of flavor and paired with tasty sauces. For my main I decided to get the Gra Pow which was a chili and garlic based dish which I decided to pair with shrimp. The dish was really tasty - it was slightly spicy, loaded with flavor, and the shrimp were large. Service was great, food came out at a good pace and our server was really friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Lemon Grass - the food was good as well as the service. I would definitely be open to returning if I was ever in the area again.

Lemongrass is one of the best modern Thai restaurants in New York. Great foods, excellent service and the best ambience in Syracuse. Highly recommended.

We made reservations and even on a Tuesday night and were promptly seated (whew!). Our waitress was wonderful. Her timing was perfect, and she even kept us updated when there was a slight delay with our food. My filet was nice and thick and very tasty, my wife's salmon was cooked perfectly, and our son really enjoyed his Penne Vodka. We finished things off with the chocolate mousse cake, which was excellent as well. At the end of the evening, the floor manager stopped by to thank us, and his sincerity and graciousness really capped off a great meal. Daniella's has such a quaint, intimate setting with a very professional staff. Charlie really puts out a great product in such a small setting. Knowing him from the old days; and seeing all of his fun Facebook skits promoting Daniella's, I'm glad we finally stopped by to enjoy a meal ourselves. Charlie is one-of-a-kind! I am compelled to leave an honest and disappointing review…read more As with many in the area at graduation, we were looking for a place to have a great meal and we were excited to learn about a steakhouse that was super attentive and provided quality and well cooked meals. We were extra excited by what seemed to be their signature dish, steak and mashed potatoes. Well, we had an 8pm reservation, which to me is normal time, but seems to be like a last seating for this restaurant. The place was full upon entering but emptied out quickly during our meal experience. It was just our immediate family of 4. Started with cocktails and proceeded to order the seafood trio app, which was good. Wedge salad, which was also good. Had a nice waitress who had a good sense of humor. The rest went downhill. We all ordered different types of steaks and 3 of 4 medium rare, one NY Strip medium. Ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and some other accompanying sauces. All 3 steaks came out in variations of well done - gross! On an even more disappointing note, we were told there is no more mashed potatoes, which is why we chose this place, and then told only 2 baked potatoes, so we had to decide who gets it and who doesn't. A TERRIBLE thing to happen at a steak restaurant, in addition to ruining what seemed to be quality steaks. The Brussel sprouts came out overly well done drenched in their sauce. Bite into any of them and they were totally deflated and not good. We couldn't even eat it. The waitress came back and asked how things were... my wife's fillet was so over cooked the waitress even agreed and offered to remake. By this time it was almost 9:15 and she lost her appetite. The three of us just didn't mention how ours were because it would have just caused chaos that none of us wanted. We NEVER send back food, but in this case, hers was insanely overcooked. We asked to have it removed from the bill, which they did. Regardless, we dropped $430, including a $70 tip (because I am generous... waitress should have done a lot more for us when noticing the quality of what was served to us) for the 4 of us, with only 3 main meals. Just a real poor experience. I'm hoping this was just an isolated happening, but completely upset it happened to us for my daughter's graduation, son's 25th Bday and our 27th Anniversary. All that weekend. Advice to owner: please ensure you have enough product for your reservations. We were not walk-ins. Then, listen to the customer's request for how they prefer their steaks to be cooked and serve as ordered. 8pm reservation should not make a difference from a 6pm. I'm just really disappointed and wish we went to Ts instead, but liked the idea of smaller and more intimate.

The food was delicious, the ambience when you stepped in was beautiful(a perfect place for a date night) and the restaurant definitely lived up to the hype. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem as it is nondescript and tucked in an older strip mall. I used to work up the street and have driven by this mall countless times and never know it was there. So disappointed that I missed out on the opportunity for lunch/dinner when I worked in Dewitt but will definitely be back. I was the only returning patron, the others much enjoyed their first time here. Walking through the front door you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of food cooking over an open fire. Got a terrific table to look out the window and enjoyed a nice evening view. Took full advantage of every food meal course available. Started out with their evening appetizer of homemade bread with cinnamon butter. Each of us got our own dinner choice along with small plates to start. The two small plates were green lentil salad and ember roasted carrots. Both of them with their unique flavor and style. The green lentil salad featured heirlooms. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. Every bite was outstanding. One of us got ice cream for dessert which she said was very good. The ice cream was made right there at the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with a rum cocktail and a tequila cocktail. All spirits locally sourced. If you haven't tried it here yet you should. You will not be disappointed.
