I had a very uncomfortable experience at this dental office…read more My daughter was charged for a fluoride treatment that was not actually performed. The charge was refunded only after I brought this to the office's attention. The doctor at this office reviewed my daughter's X-rays, which were taken at this office, and told me that she had a cavity and a white spot. The doctor recommended a filling for the cavity and a Curodont treatment for the white spot. I declined the Curodont treatment at that time because it would have been an out-of-pocket expense, and the diagnosis was unexpected, so I wanted to get a second opinion first. I brought the same X-rays to my daughter's previous dentist, who reviewed them, examined my daughter's teeth in person, and told me that she did not find a cavity or white spot. I understand that dentists can have different professional opinions, and I cannot personally determine which assessment was correct. However, receiving conflicting opinions about my daughter's dental health was concerning as a parent. During my X-rays, the sensor caused me to gag repeatedly, making the procedure very uncomfortable. During my first visit, I was photographed from the front and, unexpectedly, from the side. The staff then handed me a metal retractor and asked me to place it in my mouth for additional photographs. None of this was explained to me beforehand, and I was not expecting to have photographs taken from multiple angles with a metal retractor in my mouth. The experience left me feeling confused and uncomfortable. My daughter had a similar experience. She was asked to place a metal retractor in her mouth for photographs, and she was also photographed from the side. She told me afterward that she found the experience weird and uncomfortable as well. Ultimately, I lost confidence in the practice and decided to take my family elsewhere, so I cancelled all of our upcoming appointments with this dental clinic.

Here's what he's not good at: I had a facial trauma that revealed serious periodontal issues. His "comedy" was terrible. I had a very serious injury on my head and my teeth were displaced. The doctor made me feel stupid about my injuries. He was simply mean. It was recommended I return for a laser surgery and I acquiesced. Upon return I was given the blood pressure cuff and it was high. Too high for surgery. I came back to try again. I failed. I understand I should have sought high blood pressure medication. I also think he made me extremely nervous. All of it did. But I have NEVER EVER been loudly dressed down for a medical issue in full ear shot of other patients and staff. I will admit openly that I didn't go get blood pressure medication directly after leaving his office the first time. But it doesn't matter. The way he talked to me, how he made me feel, saying I was so close to a senior citizen. It's not funny. Saying the next time he sees me half of my face will be drooping. Not funny. Talking to me like I'm 10 years old. Not funny. Again, I'm sure he's good at his technical job. For me? I was embarrassed, uncomfortable, demeaned... I honestly felt like a small girl trying to hide. So. If you want to feel *that* ...Go there. p.s. I wonder if I should tell them how much I know about HIPAA...

From the beautiful, newly renovated office and easy parking to the warm welcome from the team, every detail felt thoughtful and elevated. Raoul's comprehensive dental photography and Eric's gentle, thorough cleaning made me feel incredibly well cared for. Dr. Kim was the highlight of my visit. He was professional, personable, and took the time to get to know me while creating a personalized plan for my dental health. I never felt rushed, and everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. I also appreciated the advanced technology, comfort amenities, and transparency around insurance and costs. This was easily one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. I've found my new dentist--and since they're only five minutes from my house, that's even better. Highly recommend!

I was seen in February for an exam, X-rays, photographs, scans, and treatment planning. After receiving a costly treatment plan, I called to ask whether treatment could be broken into phases because I could not afford everything at once. I was told I would get a call back after she consulted the doctor. I never received a response. Over the following months, I made multiple attempts to obtain information about my treatment plan, requested callbacks, and requested copies of my records. I was repeatedly told someone would contact me or my requested information would be emailed to me that day and neither happened. Most recently, I called and was told someone would call me back yet again. When I asked whether they even had my contact information to do so, the receptionist responded, "Oh, no," and then asked for my phone number. When I asked for an estimated return call time or when I should call back if I still had not heard back, I was told 30-40 minutes. An hour had passed before I had to call them again. When I called again and explained that I would be coming into the office in person because I was tired of being ignored and wanted a complete copy of my records. I was again told that someone would need to call me back. I explained that I had already been told that and had not received a call. I then asked the receptionist to confirm the office closing time was 6:30. Her response was, "I think so." When I asked her to verify when the office actually closed, I was placed on hold. Miraculously, within moments, the person I had been waiting to hear from all day suddenly became available and took over the call. During that conversation, I was told that updated estimates had been submitted to my insurance and that treatment would need to be phased anyway due to insurance limitations. This was information I had been trying to obtain for months. I explained that at this point I was not calling about estimates. I was calling because I wanted my complete medical records. I was then told that nobody else in the office would know how to obtain my records and that I should wait until the next day. After months of unanswered questions, no callbacks, and failed follow-up, I declined and stated that I would still be coming in person. Only then was I told that my records could be emailed "right away." Nearly an hour later, I finally received an email containing what appeared to be a copy-and-pasted chart note and embedded images of my X-rays. Despite specifically requesting a complete copy of my records, the materials sent were incomplete. The chart note references photographs, scans, treatment planning information, and communications that were not included in what I received. Even more concerning, the chart note indicates that information regarding treatment options was emailed to me after my appointment. I have never received any such communication from this office after my February visit. My biggest issue is not the diagnosis or treatment recommendations. It is the complete lack of communication, follow-through, accountability, and customer service. Every question, callback request, records request, and clarification required repeated effort on my part. At no point did I feel that anyone was proactively trying to help me. At this point I will be obtaining my records in person, filing a complaint with my insurance, and seeking care elsewhere. Patients should not have to spend months chasing basic information about their own treatment, insurance estimates, and medical records. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.
