I recently upgraded my head unit from factory to a Pioneer unit to add Apple Carplay (which gets you navigation) as well as a rear camera. I went to Custom Radio thanks to their good Yelp reviews and was very well treated by the guys there - specifically Chris and Bill. What was especially telling about their commitment to customer service, a rear panel accidentally broke during installation. They told me about it and had it replaced. It was the kind of break that I would not have noticed right away, but I was pleased that in this day and age, they owned up to it and made it right. read more

Came in here yesterday with my husband, who wants a new radio installed in his truck. The customer service was great, Bill was excellent. He talked through what we wanted, what we needed and what we could do without. He gave his recommendations on brands, models, etc and was very knowledgeable. He got right up in the truck to take a look at things and gauge the situation, very hands on and helpful. They sell a little bit of everything here. Obviously the radios, but floor mats, car starters, heated windshield wipers, hands free chargers, accessories galore. We are still shopping around at this point but it had to be noted how helpful they were here! read more

I went in there to have my radio installed an they ended up breaking more things then they fixed. They broke my windshield washer button, disconnected my tachometer, pulled the bulb out of my Oil Pressure gauge and at the radio still doesn't work. It only works when the heat is on. The worst part about it was when I went there the manager started yelling at me and saying the vehicle was 40 years old and because it had an aftermarket tach put in that made it hard to work on. I told him, "how does that have anything to do with the stereo not working unless the heat is on." By the time I was done, the manager said he wasn't refunding me any money and not paying for the damages to my vehicle. read more

If I could give Custom Radio ten stars I would. Good customer service is so hard to find nowadays that I was pleasantly surprised on a recent visit at Custom Radio. I stopped by to discuss a problem I was having with my car that was not related to any work they had done. I was hoping for for some advice and perhaps a suggestion on what to do. Mike who is the manager took time out of a busy schedule to check the electrical system and within minutes was able to diagnose the problem. His customer service and professionalism made me feel I had made a good choice stopping here. He sent Chris his tech out to solve the problem. Mike must instill customer service in his staff as Chris was also very professional in resolving the problem. My truck stock radio died, and I needed a new radio ASAP. They had just what I needed, were very upfront and helpful on what else I'd need and quoted me a price. Awesome! Then was able to get me in right away because one job went faster than allotted. Otherwise I'd have to wait. When they were done, guess what, the price was exactly as quoted! I took the drive out here because a friend got me a discount to repair the sound system in my car. I needed a new sub woofer and box and I got it for a steel because of the connect. I will say going in here without knowing anyone, you're going to pay a pretty penny. But that's because they have the best quality brands. I like the look of the place. Professional, clean, and has a cool waiting room with a huge tv. So while they're in the back hooking your car up, you can get lost in the tv screen haha. I will say that the wait time wasn't too long. These guys know their stuff. They are fast and efficient. read more

Custom radio does good work but probably the slowest service ever. I've used them a couple times to install various things in my car. Each time they seem to take at least 2 hours for whatever you're having done. The prices are fair but you definitely won't find the best deal here. read more

What you told me you would do you delivered. When it was my turn to speak with a consultant, you gave me the same undivided attention you gave customers before me. I am a small business owner and I understand what these reviews can do to a business. Ive read two reviews that spoke about waiting maybe 2 hours for an install that they believed should have been completed sooner. I apologize for them to Custom Radio. If a business provides quality workmanship, especially in a skilled labor field. Especially when dealing with taking apart vehicles and installing after market upgrades that concern wiring and remodifying the original design of a vehicle. Then I would, as a consumer, want the installing Business to take the time to do the job right. Every make and model vehicle are put together and designed differently. Which means each radio intall needs to be 'Custom' made and installed and treated with undivided attention as each and every job and install is different than the previous one. So at times customers may have to wait a little bi longer than expected. Some people feel that they are important or don't have the insight to understand what it takes to complete the job correctly. Some people you just cant please. As long as I have been coming here, I couldn't be happier with the customer service, and the most important thing, the final product. These guys are spot on, educated in their products and options, and genuinely care about their work and their customers. I do know in life and business you cant please everybody. In this type of work some customers think they know what it takes to do these jobs, and they are just misinformed and wrong. And if they could do the work, then why don't they? Answer: because they can't. Anyone that gives a successful and reputable business of 33 years 1 star, in my eyes are impulsive or don't understand the work that is being performedand what in entails. They probly have a problem with the guy delivering the stove to their house, the waitress that took to long for their beverage refill, etc... I went to this place to have my jeep wrangler radio system re-done. The staff could not have been any more helpful I had such a great experience at this place my jeep is literally everything I imagined it would be. they took care of me so well to the point where I'm planning on doing the rest of my jeep alterations at this place and for any other car I may have in the future. If you have thousands of dollars to waste on products that don't even last a year..well this is the place for you!! They have a nice waiting room..want to know why...because when you get ANYTHING installed here big job, small job..you might as well pack breakfast lunch and dinner because you will literally spend hours if not the whole day here. Jobs that should take an hour at the most..your still waiting 3 hours later! Customer service is horrible. Only a few employees actually have a clue. A friend recommended this place to me and my dad for a wiring issue that I had in my car and a remote start not working properly. We went in and we were greeted right away by Mike. He was super helpful in what my dad and I were looking for. While he worked on my car, we were able to wait in the lounge that they had next to the shop.
