My friend had her window tint done here and was really impressed with the job they did. Since I needed to get my windows tinted, I decided to give them a try. I like the different tint options and price points. They did a great job on the tint. The cuts are smooth and clean. The staff are friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they do. I had taken a previous car to Mother's and they messed up the tint and wouldn't fix it. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because it took a very long time. I scheduled to drop off my car at 12 and was told it should be ready around 3:30. The car want ready until 5:30. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but I had to be somewhere by 6:30 and it put me in a time crunch. Overall no big deal. I would still recommend this place, just make sure you have the extra time. read more

We needed to install a stereo entertainment system & were given a quote. We were told the total price for installation and labor would be this price. Travis said the cost would probably increase by $25 at the most. My boyfriend had called a couple hours after dropping off his car & was told on the phone they tried calling him but we didn't get a call. That's when we were told they needed to do custom work so it would take a few more hours.. well ok then! We called again around 5 because the shop closes at 7, to check on the status of the vehicle.. they asked to keep the vehicle over night and work on it the next day.. and that it should be done by 12:30 in the afternoon.. we drove by, saw our car sitting there. Gave them a call, and were told that the technician was working on our car (when he clearly wasn't) & when caught they said that the technician was finishing another vehicle's window tint really?! It was finally done hours after quoted time. The job took longer than we were told... a whole day more & we were charged the extra labor.. Now let's talk about the work. ... entertainment system fit looks good, but what we have an issue with is the lazy work from the technician. Instead of wiring the Microphone to hide it, he just stuck it out in plain view for us to figure out what to do with it & for the USB cables? he tuck them between the passenger seat and center console of my car.. nice one. By far the most ghetto most unprofessional establishment ever. The true tragedy is that the work they do is not bad. But you can't Call the place because "their phones don't always ring" is what the guy that works there said. They are supposed to open at 10 but the guys don't get there until 10:03 and then you have to wait for them to log in. They can't take a look at our vehicle we just did the radio on because they need to schedule it. But how are you supposed to schedule shit if their phone doesn't work and they don't open on time? Just at a loss for words at how unprofessional and ghetto this establishment is. If you can avoid this location, try another for sure. read more

I recently got a new vehicle and wanted to upgrade my sound system in it. I went to multiple custom sounds to get quotes and this location gave me the only quote that made me feel like they actually listened to what I wanted instead of just giving me the most expensive gear. I purchased my upgrade from them and the install was very clean and sounds great!!! Within the first week I had a glitch with my head unit and they were more than happy to swap my radio out with a brand new one, no questions asked. read more

I went in to get a quote for my 2018 Truck. I wanted a box, two tens and a amp installed. I walked into the store on a saturday and the store was empty. I saw two employees talking to each other. They didn't stop talking to acknowledge that I was there. I walked up to the front desk, to tell the employee what I was looking for. he then pointed to a shelf and told me to go look for myself. After looking I requested a quote for two tens subs and the normal setup. both employees were at the desk. I overheard one of the employees ask the other "How much are you going to quote him?" Shortly after that he quoted me $1300 for two tens and a box.I went too two other vendors and got quoted (Best Buy, Brandon's Tint and Alarm) I was quoted between $400 to $600 out the door.I also received a quote from Custom Sounds themselves that I requested online prior to going to the store. It to fell into the $400 to $600 price range I then questioned the employee on his quote. I told him what the other vendors quoted me. He then stuttered and was not able to produce an answer. At that point I told the employee that I would not be doing business at the store. read more

employees don't have their paperwork organized AT ALL. my boyfriend got double charged on his card, so he came back for his refund. when getting the situation sorted out, he was told that there was a different card on file that was double-charged. my boyfriend only uses ONE card, so there was absolutely no reason for ANOTHER CARD to be put on his account. they said if they did process the refund, it would go to the other card on file that wasn't even his and that there was nothing they can do. don't even think about coming here unless you like throwing money away. read more

Oh how times have slipped through the fingers of Custom Sounds they used to be the big boys selling car audio with the best quality... After every one of the manufacturers since about 09 started including high quality sounds in newly bought cars. They are nearly useless unless you are looking for window tint. If you have an older vehicle and are looking for some sort of custom alarm or head unit they are the best. For tint you can't go wrong with the OG Mothers Window Tint. I don't expect Custom Sounds to be around for more then a few more years though unless they just dramatically resize, change there name and stop the shady practices. For example a lot of vehicular speakers are produced by jbl ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_car_audio_manufacturers_and_brands ) such as in fords and others. Bad Service - Liars. To start, the manager needs some people skills no matter how old he might be. Had an appointment with them to have my vehicle serviced. His worker said, "he can have the task done in 10 minutes", came back in 15 minutes to get the vehicle. The manager says it's not ready and it won't be ready till later on. I told him I spoke to his employee who said it would be ready in 10 minutes. The manager comes back and says his employee never told me that and that I was lying. Someone else in the same room also heard what he said to me. So I'm the liar. Do not waste your time coming to this office on military..... They don't care about their customers, they don't value your time, and they sure can lie. As for the regional manager, he is not any better than the first guy. He was all hostile on the phone because his employees don't lie. Bottom line is they could care less about the customer more interested in making a buck. At this establishment, the employee is always right......not the customer!!! read more
