My instinct was like I'm going to be very unhappy. Well Lo AND BEHOLD ms Tina did my nails PERFECT just as I asked length and shape. I just knew I was going to be disappointed. Hands down THE BEST dip powder manicure I've EVER GOTTEN. Chanhl was my nail tech. She was super kind and really listened to what I wanted my nails to look like, and she executed it PERFECTLY! I showed her inspo pics to help, and she picked the exact color to match the pictures, shaped my nails the same way I wanted, and I'm in love with the minimal design she did on my ring fingers. I previously liked this place however, I feel as if they don't care about the customers as much as they once did. I like my finger nails and I feel they are done well. (That's the only reason for the three stars). I always get SNS and I'm always happy for the most part. I don't like her new way of removing the previous dip. She places my hands in a sandwich bag with acetone and allow them to sit for a few moments and then she drills the remaining polish off. She claims it's faster and harmless but I always end up with glue and polish all over my skin and it takes some effort to remove it. I prefer the old method using foils. They don't apply cuticle oil either. Also, they require the customers to wash their hands but I never see them washing theirs between customers. They wear gloves and just move on to the next customer. I don't see them sanitizing the chairs or stations between customers either. The pedicures here are basic at best. I always get a pedi and I've been serviced by several of the staff and they just are not very good. My polish is rarely right and some of them hardly touch the cuticles. I paid the $5 extra for callus removal and she barely did it. I ended up going home to fix my toe nail polish and buff my calluses myself. They don't moisturize your feet either so be prepared to walk out with dry feet. I let them know I wasn't satisfied. I was contacted the following day via text and asked to come back for the polish to be fixed but I didn't have time to go back. I had already fixed everything myself. They didn't reach out anymore. I think it's time to move on. read more

I tried this place based on the good reviews here on yelp. I feel like people must be talking about a different place, because I had a horrible experience. I walked in and immediately noticed that everything looked outdated and dirty. Very few color choices compared to any other salon I've been to. They told me to sit in a pedicure chair and then didn't speak to me for 10 minutes. The woman who did my nails seemed annoyed to have to be doing her job the entire time. She talked to someone on her air pods the entire time. She also cut my skin several times and every time I flinched she looked at me (really glared at me) and practically rolled her eyes! It was horrible! I'm still in pain a week out. I'm really upset about my experience and will never go back. I hope I can save someone else a trip there by reading this review. read more

She did an amazing job on my nails, but my experience was a little stressful. It was obvious that she doesn't do designs, but the guy who told her to do my nails assured her that it was an easy dot design. She seemed extremely stressed the whole time, which made my experience a little on edge. I was also in and out within 40 minutes which included a soak off. That might be good for some but for me, I love when my tech take their time. I kept reassuring her that she was doing a great job and that they looked great. It just felt like she was trying to do my nails and get it over with, which made me anxious. Regardless, the end product was exactly what I asked for, and I will continue coming here! Wonderful place! Jen is the absolute best and really takes her time with everything. She incredibly friendly and awesome to talk with. I've also had Mala, and she's awesome as well! I get dip manicures, and tend to be a little OCD with my nails. Both of these ladies really pay attention to details and my nails come out looking AMAZING. I've gotten manicures from other staff members before that did not last more than 3 days, chipped and looked messy... but they've always happily fixed them for me when I've needed it. I feel like most of the workers here are very talented and everyone there is definitely very friendly and nice! But I'm not sure if it's that the nail polishes or materials are a little older I went to get my nails done a Sunday, it was acrylics with gel and by Monday I had little bubbles of paint in three nails I also noticed she didn't cut my nails before putting them which is fine it just made it look not pretty in the bottom since the beginning I went Tuesday to get the bubbles fixed and they didn't argue with me about fixing them, but they looked very much annoyed. They didn't charge me which was the right thing, but I felt bad because i don't know if the dry interaction was due her being stressed out so I still tipped. When I handed her out the tip she said it was free of charge and I told her that it was for her Im obviously not expecting to be praised by it but at least a thank you and not rolling her eyes at me would've been nicer. Although the staff was friendly, my nails became a quick disaster. Within the second day my skin was itching. I came to quickly realize that the acrylic was attached to my cuticles and side walls on every nail. Then I had two nails break so bad that I cried. Lately every time I go in here, there is a issue. It is not a comfortable environment to get your nails done and the services are hot or miss. I believe it is related to race like some of the previous reviews. Chanh or Jan, whatever her name is, has changed. Also, her other employee with the short Bob hair style has a staring and rolling of the eye issue everytime I come in there so I know she is racist or just a rude individual. I do want to praise the younger girl who was added. I came in for a nail removal and she took my nails off without attitude and quickly [ I was only there 20 minutes] even when chanh said it would be a hour wait. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Attitudes in over abundance! Called ahead, owner agreed to mani & pedi BUT immediately upon arrival were told by same manager that we had to choose one, plus they were pushing pedicures. Well, we BOTH wanted gel manicures. Once they reluctantly agreed, we were screamed at and told that one of us needed to go to the back station. My daughter wanted to wait on Polly so I bit the bullet and went. I was immediately reduced from a gel manicure to a gel polish change. WOW! SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! When she got up to grab her tools, she stated, "But everybody's different, Tony" after she had spoke to him in her native language then when she returned with tool, she dropped the cuticle tool on the floor out of the sterile pack. The nasty girl, rather than obtaining a new one, simply rinsed it off at the sink and dried it with a paper towel. Hmmm, it's not surgery so I let it slide...Then nail tech was scraping my cuticles with buffing block and jabbing them with cuticle tool while removing old gel polish. I took it and didn't say a word! Then when another customer sat next to me, the other tech gave my wallet and phone to my tech. I asked for it and she said, "No, it can go right here", placing it next to her. I took my wallet and cell and put it in my chair behind me then the rude tech laughed out loud and said, "Ok, WOW!" This is where I ended the service, nothing had been done beyond removal of old gel polish-see pic for proof! I asked how much I owed and she tried to say, "a gel polish change is..." and that's where I stopped her! I said, "You have not completed the job, how much do I owe you for what you've done?" She charged $8! She got $8.00 and not a cent more! FOR GOODNESS SAKE GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND REDO CUSTOMER SERVICE PORTION! Let's be clear since owner responded...this was my FIRST & my LAST visit here! There's been no many years of service, I don't live in Charlotte, I was just visiting my daughter! She said this was one of the better places in Charlotte...NOT! Also, there was NO appointment, my daughter called on the way while driving there! Jen is such an amazing person and I can trust her with any design. My nails are always perfect and just the way I like them.
