My earlier visits were decent, although the quality often depended on whether my nail tech felt rushed. I frequently had to remind him that I wasn't in a hurry so he could take his time, which usually resulted in better work. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. During my pedicure, another customer came in asking my tech to fix her polish. Despite me having an appointment, he paused my service to assist her. What concerned me most was that he used the same gloves between clients. I had to ask him to change them before continuing, which is something a client should never have to request. Throughout the appointment, he seemed very distracted -- on FaceTime, repeatedly checking his phone, and taking multiple breaks. During my nail service, I was nicked a couple of times, and my thumb was left bleeding. When I mentioned that my cuticles were being handled too roughly, my concerns were dismissed. I waited until we had privacy to calmly express how the situation made me feel, as I didn't want to embarrass him. Instead of receiving professionalism or understanding, the response was defensive and included remarks that felt inappropriate and dismissive. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager. The manager was polite and acknowledged the situation. She offered for me to return at another time to have my nails redone, which I appreciated, but I didn't have the time since I was leaving out of town for a wedding. However, I was still charged for the service. With pricing at $95 for a gel pedicure and dip for my nails (not including tip), I expected better hygiene standards and better quality. My nails chipped within a few days, and in less than a week they looked like they needed to be redone. One negative experience can outweigh many average ones, especially when it involves cleanliness, professionalism, and service quality. Charlotte has no shortage of nail salons, and for the price paid, I simply cannot justify returning. Sadly, I will not be coming back.

We made an appointment, told the receptionist, and 3 employees as we were asked what we were getting multiple times. We each got our pedicures with no issues besides me having to repick my color because they couldn't find the original one I chose. Then the woman who did the pedicure started my pedicure. My mom was left in the pedicure chair for the entirety of me getting my nails done. They never did my mom's manicure and tried to blame her for saying she was taking a break from getting sns as an excuse for not giving her the regular manicure. We told multiple people when we were there and our appointment was for two manicures. They were prioritizing people walking in without appointments over us and forgot about doing my mom's manicure. Today really stood out to me with my experience and their customer service and really taking their product/work seriously. I picked a bright pink (it was a brand new color) and it looked great but a little while after leaving the salon the color started to turn purple with markings (very odd). I called and told them what happened and sent photos and they said to come back and they would fix it. I arrived about 6:15 and waited, no problem they were busy. When it was my turn everyone was so kind and made sure I liked my new color, checked in and never rushed even though it was past closing and I'm sure everyone wanted to go home. I'm not sure if this was because it was a more sheer color and I only had two coats done, or if the bottle they used was straight up the wrong one. The manicure also chipped on day two which I was really bummed about. I would've gone back for a repair, but I was already out of town. Luckily because the color barely showed up on my nails it was hard to tell. I choose this spot because they have a healthcare worker discount which made it cheaper than other places, but I guess you get what you pay for.
