Best. Decision. Ever. From the very beginning, their customer service was top-tier. They responded quickly, patiently answered all of my questions about services and pricing, and even helped me juggle two different appointment dates until we found one that worked. I ended up booking a 9:30 a.m. appointment with Tammy. The location was super easy to find, and bonus points for private parking--because circling for parking before a nail appointment is not exactly self-care. Walking inside immediately felt like stepping into the cutest little beauty lounge. The vibe? Clean, cozy, trendy... very cutesy, very demure, very girls' girl. Check-in was a breeze--just enter your phone number, email, answer a few questions, sign a quick first-time waiver, and you're all set. I barely had time to sit before Tammy welcomed me over. She took the time to ask exactly what I wanted, went over my inspiration, confirmed the pricing before we started (which I genuinely appreciated), and got right to work. Tammy was incredibly efficient without ever making me feel rushed. She checked in throughout the appointment to make sure I loved everything, helped me compare colors, and even created two different cat-eye designs so I could choose my favorite. I got black builder gel nails. Black is about as straightforward as it gets, yet somehow my nails were left crooked, slanted, uneven, poorly filled, and incompletely polished. Some nails looked like they were missing product toward the base, and the shaping was so inconsistent that my hands looked like they belonged to two different people. And before anyone says, "Why didn't you say something?" -- I DID. Multiple times. I repeatedly asked for the obvious issues to be fixed, and I could clearly tell they were becoming irritated with me for asking. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $110, I'm going to expect $110 worth of work. Asking for my nails to actually be straight, filled properly, and fully polished is not being difficult. That is literally the service I paid for. The gentleman doing my nails was polite, and I'll give him credit for that. Unfortunately, being nice doesn't compensate for extremely poor workmanship. What bothers me most is that this wasn't some tiny imperfection that I was nitpicking. These were visibly crooked nails that were unfinished. I shouldn't have to explain to a professional that every nail needs to be properly shaped and completely covered in polish. Honestly, they should be embarrassed to charge $110 for this quality of work. They're lucky I paid, because after seeing the final result, I absolutely would have understood anyone refusing to pay for this. Needless to say, I will never spend another dollar here. Liz shares space with a cute kid's hair salon in a residential area of Redondo Beach. I've lived here for years and never passed by, even though it's so close I could walk over. I decided to have Liz clean up my brows, and she did a great job. I also had a spa pedicure and am pleased with her work.
