Disappointed that they even let someone who clearly isnt qualified or trained well to perfom certain services. But mostly disappointed bec of the time I lost. I was hoping to find a new salon but will not return.

The thin skin around your nails is super sensitive. Now I have burning and bleeding. Literally woke me up at night burning.

Received a gel manicure and the lady rushed to take off the gel. She literally scratched off my skin around all my nails with the nail file. I've been in pain for 3 days now. Never experienced this before and I've been getting gel mani's every 2 weeks. Will not be back.

I can't say enough great things about my experiences here, all thanks to Leyna! She truly goes above and beyond every single visit to make sure I'm happy and comfortable. What really stands out is how much she cares--not just about her work, but about her clients. She even knows both of my kids by name and always shows them so much kindness. She makes sure they're comfortable during my appointments, offering them water and even setting up the massage chairs for them, even when they're not getting services. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. If you're looking for a nail technician who is talented, attentive, and genuinely cares, ask for Leyna--you won't be disappointed. I came here for a gel pedicure and the lady was way too rough when doing my cuticle care. She also filed my right big toe too thin and I had to take off the gel from that toe at home with acetone because it was hurting and I was concerned. I didn't even get to enjoy having a fresh pedicure. Money down the drain, would not come back here. read more

The wait time was not bad at all, there was no wait time. But usually I am not picky on who I get for my nails because I like going with everyone. Today I got Nancy. Nancy isn't the worst but isn't the greatest. She doesn't make the best decisions with hygiene. She dropped one her tools in the floor hesitating and picked it up with the glove just washed it in the water she was using on my feet put it back into her dish and didn't even change her glove. While she was cutting my cuticles she cut my toe on my left side. Had a rough hand and massaged me only for 2 minutes. I always come here and never get this experience. Sucks read more

First time trying out this place and my experience with getting a gel pedicure was great. I called ahead of time to ask if they take walk-ins, which they do but keep in mind they close at 7:30pm. They take cash, card and also have an ATM available in store. I just recently moved to the area and it's hard finding a new place to go to after going somewhere else for over 6 years but I'm glad I found Nailspa Excel and Ben, the technician who assisted me. I will say however, the lady up front who "greeted me" (if you can call it that) was a little off putting. As soon as I walked in, she's right up front and just stared at me, not even a hello. I told her I had no appointment and would like to get a gel pedicure, she then proceeded to not say anything to me, she just turned back and talked in her language and when she turned back to face me just said "Okay." I took this as a cue to just sit down and wait at this point. Regardless, Ben was great and made me feel more at ease while he was working on me. He asked if it was my first time there, went over their available services and was also very attentive to his work. Ben definitely made my experience a lot better and as of now I think I have found the place I'll be going to from now on. Give them a try! read more

The quality of my nails is horrendous! I went in to get a nail repaired, got a fill. I tried to be understanding of the guy who did my nails. But no. The nail that was repaired is shorter than the rest and wider. Acrylic left under the nails! This is horrible ! Waste of time and money ! read more

Disappointed I got gel on my hand and regular polish on my toes, I picked the same exact color for both so I don't understand why the colors are so off. I mentioned this to the nail artists and they said it was normal because one was gel and the other wasn't, but they look like two totally different colors .. Otherwise they came out very clean and they did a great job with the mani/pedi so I'm still happy with those services. I was also seated very quickly and they were very nice. The colors being so different despite supposedly being the same color really messes with me. The toes are the shade I was going for, and the hands are what aren't the right shade. read more

As they say, if I could give it zero stars I would. This place is all about hurry up, rush, rush, rush, business business business, no care for quality or customer service. I haven't had a gel manicure in over five years, but the other day, I decided why not it'll save me time in the long run. Unfortunately, two days later, my nails started lifting on the sides and began to chip and peel. I called the salon and was that they were too busy that day but if I returned the next day they would fix it. I asked if they needed my name and the lady said "no, no just come in and they'll know what you're talking about". Well, this morning I did just that. I told the lady why I was there and she told me to go sit at table number three. At the end, she attempted to charge me $37! When I explained my situation again, she said "no no you got a full set". Me: A full set of wet, I got a gel manicure! Her: You should have told me when you came in. Me: I did, but apparently you didn't listen. Her: Well I wasn't working on Sunday (the day I called) What? As I said, customer service....NONE!!!! To add insult to injury, I went back and checked their prices and realized that very same lady charged me $92 for what should've cost me $63 (a gel manicure and a regular pedicure). Needless to say I will never return to this place! In the past, they've done mediocre manicures and usually I end up with cuts and knicks around my cuticles, but I've continued to go back because it was convenient. Convenient at this point is not that important to me! Thanks, but no thanks! On another note, it should be said that Tom did an excellent job fixing my gel manicure. He was very meticulous, took his time and my nails look great.. read more

I have been seeing (Nail Technician) NA for my nails since 2020, and have even followed her to this location, she always does a fantastic job on my nails, she is very detailed and skilled in her craft. NA has also introduced my to (Nail Technician) Chung who's been doing my pedicures for a little over 1 year now, she's very patient when doing pedicures and my favorite part is getting the massage and additional pedicure add ons with her, I really love this nail spa and come here every 2 weeks religiously, it's such a comfy, clean, and quiet environment. The salon has excellent time management when it comes to appointments. The staff is very friendly and outgoing I would recommend any staff member here. Thank you ladies for all your services, I greatly appreciate you all. read more

Please go see Na, she's amazingly talented! I've had my nails done by Na for a few years now and I follow her everywhere she goes. She recently moved to this location and she's absolutely amazing! She takes her time with your nails and they always come out looking natural. She's a bit of a perfectionist and she takes her time with your nails and the designs you want (if you want any, she's great either way). She always tries her best and almost always is able to do any design I bring to her. She's truly an artist and I always get compliments on my nails. I won't let anyone else besides her touch my nails she's truly amazing! Visit her you won't regret it, but do make an appointment with her as she books fast (obviously, since she's so good) read more

I had a mixed experience at this clinic…read more Scheduling my appointment was easy, and I was able to get in quickly. The receptionist who helped me over the phone was very kind and professional. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was surprised to learn there was a $150 consultation fee. This was never mentioned when I booked over the phone. Had I known beforehand, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to proceed. I believe patients should be informed of this fee before arriving. I originally scheduled a consultation because I wanted to explore my options for under-eye hollowness, cheek filler, and other treatments. My goal was to gather professional opinions before making a decision, since this is my face and I wanted to compare recommendations from different providers. Before my consultation even began, I was asked how I would be paying. I mentioned that I had about $800 available on my CareCredit account. The doctor immediately responded by asking if I would be using the full $800. That made me uncomfortable because I was only there for a consultation. After already agreeing to pay the $150 consultation fee, I felt pressured to move forward with treatment instead of taking time to think about my options. During the consultation, I explained my concerns and was recommended cheek filler and chin filler for approximately $1,700. When I said I wanted to think about it and possibly seek other consultations, I felt the interaction became somewhat rushed. I eventually agreed to only chin filler and a lip flip. The procedure itself was completed very quickly. When I checked out, my total ended up being around $800, including additional CareCredit fees that I was not expecting. Considering I received one syringe of chin filler and a lip flip, I personally did not feel the results justified the cost. I honestly don't notice much of a difference in my chin, and the lip flip never seemed to take effect. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. I believe consultations should feel informative and pressure-free, and patients should be given time to make decisions without feeling financially committed. I also strongly feel the $150 consultation fee should be clearly disclosed when appointments are booked over the phone. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return.

So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I've been going to Nail Spa Excel for Years and love love love them! Everyone is very friendly, professional and top notch quality! The salon is clean and I feel very comfortable when there. I highly recommend Peter or Annie for nails and Tracy or Chung for the best pedicures! I always get gel pedicures and they last a minimum of a month! Of course I have my nails done more frequently as I'm always washing dishes, doing chores or crafts and they wear down and the growth is more obvious - but I'm still able to get about 3 weeks out of them! And to those who have complained... I wonder if they bothered to discuss with their mani/pedi person because I find them to be very accommodating and willing to correct a mistake when it happens. unfortunately, although I used to year ago and was great then, the quality I got was not good. it was too late to notice after I left shop since light inside didn't show all the flaws and it was an okay job from a guy named Ben I believe. my hard gel overlay has bumps, the shape is terrible and the design I wanted , was supposed to be a tropical flower with gold in the center, looks more like a deformed poinsettia . Guy was super sweet but tu red flag I ignored when I showed him what I wanted was him saying he will "try", he also asked him to give him a good review to his manager and well it's my lesson learned but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a bit more for better work. the quality has gone down tremendously, now that there so many great nail places and to be honest I'm not a fan of plaves that do not use single us items. read more

Holly was the first person to do hard gel on my nails, and ever since, I can't imagine going to anyone else. Her attention to detail and patience are unparalleled.
