I have been going to Cuttin Up Studio for well over twenty years now. I could not imagine going to another salon for anything ever again. Sonja is so extremely talented, honest, professional, skilled and down to earth. I would never trust anyone else to do my hair again. I remember years ago, before I found Cuttin Up Studio, I had gone to another shop in town and I paid for a full weave and found out the "beautician" was really only giving me a partial with some empty foils in the back but charging me full price - never again. After that happened, I found Sonja and she fixed my hair and I have been coming back to her ever since. I love the atmosphere at Cuttin Up Studio and the staff is so down to earth and sincere. They make you feel comfortable the second you walk in the door like you're at home after a long hard day. I can't stand some of the other shops I have been to in this area where the staff is all fake and all they do is gossip and talk badly about a client after they walk out the door. Cuttin Up Studio is so reasonably priced too for all of their services. I love the clean tanning beds with new bulbs and the clean private spacious tanning rooms. The piercing, waxing and nail services are all top notch too. Cuttin Up Studio provides excellent hair care for men, women and children of all ages. I love the location of Cuttin Up Studio, it's easy to get to and they have a nice large parking lot and you don't have to worry about paying for parking or any time limits. The customer waiting area and bathroom are always clean and well stocked. I have seen so many other shops come and go in the Rogue Valley. If you care about a piercer's character before they stab you with a needle, you might be stoked to check this place out. I've been to three other well-reviewed shops before coming to this place and they could not possibly compare to the experience I've had here. I've gotten my eyebrow, my dermal, my nostril, my vertical labret, and even my macrothelia (not shown) pierced here after hearing about Cuttin Up via some reflective-looking people under the lights from our local hardcore scene. I don't feel it's a coincidence that they are the most well-healed piercings I have. Sonja is a swag wizard that has made a certain level of confidence accessible to most of my broke young friends and I. She is genuine, has accepted us with care, and maintains a sense of humor. Prices are incredibly affordable without sacrificing her quality or a clean studio. Even though we've mostly arrived as walk-ins, she was methodical about redrawing marks as many times as needed before I felt the placement was perfect, walking me through the entire piercing process. Had I known this gem of a place existed, I would have never gone to another for piercings! Affordable on top of accommodating! I came in as a walk-in this morning with 3 ear piercings that were irritated from not tolerating the low quality original jewelry. Within 20 minutes, Sonya made time in between clients & replaced them all with titanium pieces ranging from 10-18 dollars. The receptionist was patient with my decision-making and both women are soo sweet with mom energy. I switched my nose hoop from silver to gold for esthetic purposes, then got a mini septum ring placed in my nearly closed up 20 years ago piercing. The pain from my earrings subsided immediately upon removing the ones my body was trying to reject. As a bikers millenial child, I have great appreciation for the vibe of the place, in business for 30 years! Cozy & real AF. Don't come here if you're judgey, or expect them to not act like a small town locally owned business. They are FABULOUS- perfect the way they are, and my experience was top notch. read more

AJ IS FANTASIC!! When he cut my grandson's hair the first time he was freaking out, the people in the salon probably thought I was beating him. Nope, just a haircut on a 2 yr old. Next visit was better, th2 3rd visit was still a little rough but with a dumdum sucker and hanging out on the back of mommy's car. Absolute FAVORITE piercer. Sonya has done everything from my rook to helix to nose to belly and a few others. They always heal so quickly and perfectly. Miracle oil really is a miracle. GET IT!! It healed my infection from a previous piercer, soothed any pain, and always makes sure that I don't get a bump under my piercing. I've never found a better price for piercings or her miracle oil.
